Joint Chiefs chairman: No change in military’s transgender policy

Today, the Joint Chiefs of Staff said that the U.S. military will not change its transgender policy until trump clarifies his messy ass tweets.

Joe Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said:
“I know there are questions about yesterday’s announcement on the transgender policy by the president. There will be no modifications to the current policy until the president’s direction has been received by the secretary of defense and the secretary has issued implementation guidance. In the meantime, we will continue to treat all of our personnel with respect."
This news took all of us by surprise, especially the Pentagon. They were completely caught off guard by trump and his tweets. From their prospective, they didn't have any reason to implement a ban, so why is trump doing this?

trump bans Trans people from the Military

Remember when trump called himself a "real friend" of the LGBT community?

Well, that was a lie and if you believed it, you were stupid.

Today, trump tweeted:

There's no reasoning behind it. There's no research to even support this. However, he felt that this was a major issue. This is pure bigotry.

We will fight this

Tony Perkins whines about Trans Folks in the Military

If you didn't know, the Secretary of the Air Force is open to transgender military service. So you know, haters are falling out about this. Days ago, Tony had his 2 cents to add:
"Three years into the disaster of open homosexual service, and the Left is already trying to check the next box on its wish list. Of course, we heard the same sound bites in 2011, when the radical Left wanted to throw open the door for homosexuals. Now, deep into the pro-homosexual era, Americans are finally seeing the consequences of that political correctness: sky-high sexual assaults, religious intolerance, record-low morale, and widespread job dissatisfaction. If the administration is interested in letting people serve openly, how about Christians? Or chaplains? While the President has been pulling gays and lesbians out of the closet, he's been shoving men and women of faith in. If this is about pride and tolerance, then it's time to extend that same courtesy to the majority of our service members, who've been living under the administration's dark shadow of religious hostility far too long."

Interesting Quote: Bryan Fischer

Bottom line: you want to know who's now running the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy and the Marines and calling the shots where it counts? Fundamentalist Muslims and homosexual activists.

Really? I thought it was Daleks and Sweet Transvestites

Interesting Quote: Patrick Murphy

"This policy is going to be repealed in a short matter of time. As for service members who are being discharged because of their sexuality. If they can hold on, help is on the way. And help is going to come form the Congress and be signed into law by the president."
and...
"President Obama has clearly said he wants to repeal Don't Ask Don't Tell. He has instructed as Commander in Chief his Secretary of Defense and chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff to be prepare to implement the policy but he has respect for the legislative branch, a co-equal branch, and said, 'Guys, I want a bill on my desk. And when it comes on my desk I'm going to sign it to repeal this.'"

Don't Pray, Don't Tell

Army Spc. Jeremy Hall believed in God, until he went to war. Now he's an atheist. But that little "showtime synergy" act cost him his job in the military. Also Hall said his life was threatened by other troops and the military assigned a full-time bodyguard to protect him out of fear for his safety.

So with all the drama on who he prays to, Hall filed a lawsuit U.S. Department of Defense and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, among others. He claims his rights under the First Amendment were violated and believes that the United States military has become an all-mighty Christian super group.

And I thought Don't Ask, Don't Tell was bad.

Be all that you can be, including gay and lesbian

California-based research center released a study that proves "don't ask, don't tell" is truly bogus. The study was conducted by four retired military officers found out the gays in the armed forces are unlikely to undermine the ability to fight and win.

According to the officers, "Evidence shows that allowing gays and lesbians to serve openly is unlikely to pose any significant risk to morale, good order, discipline or cohesion."

To support their study, the panel looks to the British and Israeli military, where it says gay people serve openly and it's doesn't affect the morale or the cohesiveness of the soldiers.

I always thought it wouldn't matter. I mean, when bullets are flying and bombs are dropping, I think homosexuality is the last thing on people's mind. But you never know.
