Kids

Hi everybody!

This minialbum was made almost a year ago! And I forgot to show you...
It is an album for my parents in law with pictures from our girls :o)

When you open it, you can display it on a table or something.

Seen from above....

Every part has pictures from each granddaughter...

and when it closes, ....

....  the pictures are neatly hidden.

Such a fun little gift, don't you think? My inlaws were very happy with it.
Hope you like it too :o)

Thanks for visiting and see you soon!

Treats...

Hi everybody!

A little while ago I made these treats for my daughters birthdayparty. She gave them to her guests after the party as a little thank you.

I made a photo-tutorial for you. It's very easy and I think the pictures tell it all.

14 x 14 cm.

At this point you fill your box with some goodies and tie it with a nice ribbon.
I didn't glue it by the way :o)

Try it sometimes. And if you have any questions please let me know!

Bye bye :o)

A new forum for us scrapping girls in Norway!

Since a year I was a member of a great norwegian forum, Scrapbook Express. It was a good way for me to get to know the norwegian language and being active with my scrapping with pictures. The girls are very good with different challenges and it gave me a kick in the but to scrap again. Thanks for that girls!

But we got some bad news last May. The owner of the forum wanted to sell her place on the internet. So the design team got together and founded a new place for us to chat, challenge each other and have a good time.

Bye for now!

Tilda with her flower pot

Hi everyone!

Last Sunday when the rain was pooring down on us here, I sat with one of my girls in our scrappingroom
and we both made a card. I found a beautiful card in the Simply Cards & Papercrafts, issue 88 by Bev Rochester and I lifted that one. Thank you, Bev! This one's mine :-)

I had an old scrappingkit just laying around with beautiful papers and embellishments from Bo Bunny in it.
So I used that one and there came a very nice card out of it.

This is the back of the card with my personal stamp and some bits and pieces of paper and ribbon.

On the inside I used two rubbons from Bo Bunny.

I coloured Tilda with my Copics again:

skin: E000/50/51/53
sheeks: E93
hair: E31/33/35
dress: YG11 and B91 (blended)
coat and bow ties: YG11/13/17
shoes: E33/35/YG97
pot: YG97 and E33 and E35 (blended)
flowers: Y11/YG97/YG11
shadow: C0
grass: YG11/13/17

I want to enter this card in the Just Magnolia challenge. Anyting goes there,
but you have to use circles and of course a Magnolia stamp.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my card and I love to get some feedback on it,
because I love to read your comments :-))

See you soon...

Filefolderbook (with tutorial)

Hi scrappers!

A little while ago I made this filefolderbook for my neighbour. She turned 70, so I wanted to make something special for her. Browsing on the internet I saw 3 pictures of this book and I started crafting. Because I liked it so much, I decided to make a tutorial for you all.

Start with an A4 – cardstock and cut at 21 x 28 cm.
Score at 14 cm at the short side (therefore in the middle)
and at 2 cm at both the long sides.
On the longer sides, cut half of the scored lines opposite of each other.

Apply tape on the remainder at the long sides

Cut afterwards a corner.
Glue the page together.

Make as many pages as you need following the above (I made 10 pages).
Apply tape at the closed longest side of your pages, except for 1.
Glue the pages together, the inside of your book is ready.

Cut a cardstock at 30 x 18 cm.
Score at 14,5 cm on both short sides, this is the book cover.

Glue the pages between the book cover with wide sticky tape.

I cut out some tabs with my Silhouette.

Glue the pages together with some sticky tape.

You can attach the tabs on the glued area on the pages.

Create a lock by using some ribbon or Velcro.

Attach the other ends of the lock on the backcover.

Cover up with cardstock and designpapers.
Now decorate your book and enjoy!

I colored my Tilda with my Copics:

skin: E50/51/53/93
hair: E31/33/35
shoes: B91/93/95 and 100
dress: R81/83
apron: R83/85
butterfly: Y32/B91/E35
shadow: W2
blender

A little bouquet of flowers and a dragonfly-charm.

and some droplets to embellish.

I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial. If you made one, let me know, I would love to hear from you.

For the record, this wasn't my idea. I just made this after have seen a few pictures on the web. So if anyone needs to feel they have to claim it as their own, please let me know and I will give you credit for your design.

A winter theme... for Christmas Challenges {with sketches}

Hi everybody!
Has two weeks passed by already?? Time just flies sometimes doesn't it? I was so busy with family-things and all...sorry that I didn't post anything these last two weeks. But I'm back again with the second challenge on our new blog Christmas Challenges {with sketches}. Go visit the blog, because Marion made a sketch for us all and my colleagues made some beautiful cards. This here is my contribution. It is actually a very simple creation, because it is part of a calender (the month of January) for a dear friend who is moving to Canada.

-

I colored Tilda with my Derwent coloursoft pencils:

skin: 170-190-620
hair: 530-630
coat: 310-360
gloves and socks: 450
shoes: 480-630-310
tights:  480
lantern: 630-580

I used design paper from Marianne Design and just some flowers to embellish and I was finished with January.

So now it's your turn. Go to Christmas Challenges {with sketches} and make a card. Link your own blogpost up to the challenge blog and you can win a prize donated by

Hope to see you there!!
