Our first challenge at Christmas Challenges {with sketches}

Hi everybody!!

This is so exciting! The first challenge at Christmas Challenges {with sketches} is a fact now. We all have worked very hard to make it happen and we are so curious what you think about it. Janneke has made a beautiful first sketch for you all to work with. Go check it out (after you have read my post, OK?!).

I have used BoBunny designpaper and with my Martha Stewart punch I made a couple of snowflakes. 

The sentiment is from Elzybells art stamps. And I used some buttons from my stash. 

I colored Tilda and her lovely snowman with my Derwent colorsoft pencils:

Tilda

hair: 600-520

jacket: 350

trousers and hat: 310

boots and gloves: 160

snowman

snow: 360

buttons and hat: 410

broom: 640-160

For the snow I took my snow marker and to give the fur collars some sparkling I used frosty lace stickels. 

At the back of the card I stamped my personal stamp.

Pia og pus.... going vintage......

Hi everybody!

It's been two weeks since the last challenge at the Derwent-blog, so here is the next for you Derwent fans. 

The challenge is going vintage. You are supposed to make an card or project in vintagestyle. Not really my thing, but so much more a challenge. I made this card for you to be inspired by. I was inspired for the lay-out of my card by Camilla. Go check her out, she makes beautiful cards!

Made a little bouquet with different kinds of flowers. 

Here you can see my sewing by hand, yes! I found a great tutorial at Marga's blog. Thanks Marga! I used some pearls, lace and an page from an old book I once bought in a secondhand bookstore.

The stamp is called Pia og pus and is from Kort og Godt Hobby. I colored them of course with my Derwent coloursoft pencils and used the following ones:

skin: 170

hair: 570

dress: 200-150

cat: 560

outline: 720

Christmas Challenges {with sketches}....

Hi everybody!

A few weeks ago my friends and I set up a new challenge blog, 

Christmas Challenges {with sketches}. 

Janneke made a beautiful sketch for the DT-call. And I made this card with it. 

These poinsettias were made with a Creatables die from Marianne Design.

Swinging Tilda is framed in a Nellie's Multi Frame. I coloured her with my Derwent coloursoft pencils:

This ticket is homemade.

Pepperkaker..... and our DT-call....

Hi everybody!

Today I have a Christmas card to show you. 

 The snowflakes and the card itself were made and cut out with my Silhouette.

I used some brads for the centre of the snowflakes.

This gingerbreadman is from Ladybug & Friends as is the recipestamp for the "pepperkaker". Unfortunately I missed my notes for the colournumbers of my Derwent pencils. I'm sorry if you are interested, hope you forgive me this time....

You're no. 1

A little while ago there was an cardcompetition over at the norwegian forum I'm in. One of the challenges was to make a masculin card. So a little bit rough and tough, was the recipy. 

This is the card I made. I bought a digistamp at Mo's Digital Pencil, Video Boy. 

And the sentiment is a freebie from Create with TLC. 

These metal numbers are from Kort og Godt. 

 This arrow was painted with crackle paint first and afterwards dabbed on with some distress ink.

The buttons came from my sewing box.

I won this round of the competition and only this round :-D. But that's OK! It was a real challenge and I enjoyed it very much. So thank you ladies from the "Pink Forum". I had fun!!
