yesterday afternoon the strong gusty winds were blowing the water back at the incoming river, then came the rain.

the weather was clear, cold and very windy, no problems for the bird flying high.

around the block and I happened to catch a couple of birds flying around.  It was very windy with mist and not very appealing.

our wild windy wet weekend just begun this afternoon with the sun disappearing and the rain bucketing down.  There won't be a white Christmas here in Moville but we will have plenty of puddles.

It was very windy and choppy the other day when we went down to the pier.  There wasn't anything going on,  no people, no fishing, nothing.   We stayed for a few minutes and watched the water.  It was climbing up on the stairs and the ladder people use to come up from their boats was being invaded by water too.  It will be interesting to see how the winter plays out here.  It will be our first one in Moville and we are only a few minutes away from this spot.  We are ready!

On strong windy days, do not, I repeat do not take your umbrella out because it will not survive the walk.  I've seen people walking bent over, leaning to the left or right, and suddenly they're trying to adjust or hold on to their umbrella.  It either blew inside out or just blew away.  This is one example how umbrellas stand up to the wind on the shore walk.  It didn't survive, instead got tossed away like a bad fish.
