If you know me then you know I love having people over to my house and making them dinner!! This is Carrie my old roommate from college that is from Louisiana. She comes out about once a year and all of us roommates get together for dinner with our husbands.
Unfortunately the other three are living in different states, we missed you Angela, Tiffany and Erica!! We have so much fun reminiscing of our good old college times. Thanks for coming over girls...It is always a blast!!

Nap time....or not so much
I went to put Boston down for a nap the other day and this is the conversation I had with Madison:
Me: Boston, time for bed.
Madison: I want to lay with Boston
Me: no, Boston needs to take a nap.
Madison: I will go to sleep too.
I knew she wouldn't go to sleep and Boston wouldn't either but I figured what the heck I will just let her lay with him for a little and do the nap later. So I let Madison lay with Boston. I came upstairs about 10 minutes later and this two little rascals were just playing away!!
I think Boston was enjoying having his sister in his crib with her and not taking a nap:)
Gators
Flag Football has come to an end. Garrett's team named themselves the Gator's this year. Garrett had a blast playing this year and his team was undefeated. He said he is ready to play tackle next year. I'm not so sure I'm ready for the time, money, and stress! He is pretty excited about it though. Eric said that he needs to start doing more jobs to earn money to play.
Even Boston enjoyed sitting at the games. It was fun while it lasted but I'm glad we don't have to sit out in the cold anymore.

Gardner Village
The kids are off track for the next few weeks and my friend Ambur's kids are also out this week. We decided to take the kids to Gardner Village to see the witches. Believe it or not I have actually never been to see the witches. The kids had a blast and the weather was beautiful!
All the kiddos, I actually didn't even get a picture of any of the witches. I didn't do so well but I guess these kids are way cuter than any of the witches.
Sunday Night Drive
Sunday evening I decided that we should go on a drive somewhere. Eric asked the kids if they wanted to go see the reindeer. They were all pretty excited and Madison was pretty sure that we were going to Santa's house. She pointed to a building by the field and said she wanted to go in Santa's house.
Boston wanted to see the reindeer too! He was pretty excited about it! He would go crazy when he would see the reindeer.

Preschool Pumpkin Patch
Madison got to the go the Pumpkin Patch with her Preschool class. Camri was out of the school for the day so she was able to come as well.
Madison's class is all girls (the boy on the end is a sibling). I still can't believe she is big enough to go to preschool.

Date Night
Every weekend Eric and I do a trade with his brother and sister. We each take a turn watching all of the kids and then on the other nights we get to go on a date. The other night we went bowling with some friends. It is so fun being able to spend time with Eric without the kids:) We haven't starting leaving the babies so Boston still gets to come with us.
Boston thought it was pretty fun. I wasn't sure he would stay in the stroller while we were bowling but he did pretty good.

Camri's Field Trip
My camera was lost for a few weeks but now it is found!! I was so happy I found it because I hadn't downloaded these cute pictures of Camri's field trip. Camri really wanted me to go with her to Thanksgiving Point on her field trip. I couldn't believe that she was already in kindergarten going on this field trip. I remember going on the same one with Garrett when he was in Kindergarten. Lucky me I got to ride on the bus with her.
On the hay ride!
She always poses for every picture.
I couldn't believe that Camri actually wanted to feed the animals. Usually she is scared of things like this but she was really brave.
This Billy Goat was pretty excited to see everyone.
The field trip ended and we found out that the bus left us. Have you ever been on a field trip where a bus left? Not me. So there we were with 50 kindergartners waiting to see if the bus would come back and get us. The bus driver scheduled another pick up after he dropped us off. He said, well hopefully I can make it back by 10:30. He came and got us but didn't make it until about 11:00. Thank goodness we weren't stuck there all day.

Boston's Party
I really can't believe this little guy is already 1!! He is such a joy to have in our house. All of the kids love Boston and always want to have him right with them.
We just had a small little party with the Grandparents since Camri was in the hospital on his birthday. I am such a bad mom....I didn't even make him a birthday cake just brownies.
He didn't seem to care though....he ate it all up!!

Families are Forever!!
This cute little family was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on September 10, 2011. It was a special day for everyone. It was so neat to be able to be in the temple with them and to know that they can be together forever. Congratulations, Lori, Adam and Hudson!
My other sisters, Heather, Tacy and Amy. (They apparently thought it was ok to take a picture without me)
My brother in laws were making fun of me for wanting to take pictures so I thought I would pose for them.
It was a fun filled weekend with the Halls. On Sunday we all drove up to Heber for Hudson's blessing. It was quite the ordeal though....Garrett woke up sick so I ended up driving with my parents and just going solo. Heather's husband was sick as well so she came just with her kids. Then on the way to Heber Tacy hit a deer!! It was quite the adventure but we all made it and were happy to celebrate the weekend with the Halls.

Preschool
I really can't believe my little Madison is old enough for preschool!! She was so excited to go to preschool but had to bring her purse with her.
Before Madison left for school she told me that she wanted to bring a snack to school, one for her and one for her friend Mylie. Mylie happened to be right there when we walked in and Madison handed it right to her. So nice of her to be thinking of her friend.

It's official in the system!!
As many of you know my sister has been waiting quite sometime to be able to have a baby. She has been through many hard times but finally her little miracle is here!! Little Hudson was born in February and now that it has been 6 months the courts pronounced Lori and Adam Halls to be his parents!!
I decided I wanted to drive to Heber and be a part of this day. I arranged for Camri to go to a friends after school, Eric went into work late so I could leave the house by 8:00 and he could get the kids to school. Court started at 9:00 so if I left my house by 8:00 I would get there right at 9:00. I am not used to leaving the house that early and forgot that there would be traffic. By the time I got on the freeway it was 8:15. I was thinking to myself there is no way I will get there by 9:00 because it usually takes me exactly an hour. The whole way there I was just praying that I would make it in time. It was smooth sailing and I entered the canyon at about 8:40 with only about 20 minutes to go in the canyon. My girls usually get sick in the canyon but not always and it was not even something I considered happening that day. I was on the stretch road after the canyon almost to the courthouse. Madison said she needed to go to the bathroom and I told her to hold it that we were almost there. She put her hand over her mouth I asked her if she was going to throw up and she said no. I kept looking back to check on her and then I looked back and she was throwing up every where!! I really almost started crying. By this time it was literally like a few minutes before 9:00 and I only had another mile to go. I called Lori to tell her she threw up and I would try and hurry in. I was thinking I could just wipe her a little and run in and finish cleaning her up after. Well I pulled into the parking lot and got out of the car and she was a MESS!! There was no way I could just run in without really cleaning her up. I wiped her off as good as I could and figured I could go in the bathroom and finish cleaning her up. As we were walking in the officer that was checking us in looked at Madison and said, "Oh it looks like someone had an accident with ice cream." Little did he know that it wasn't anything close to ice cream. I went to the bathroom to wash her hands etc. and was walking in the door to the court room and Lori and Adam were walking out. I almost started to cry!! I though well at least I get to be here for the pictures and go to lunch with them. It was such a bummer but I knew I would be there in a week when they were sealed in the temple. It was quite the experience that day and definitely one that I won't forget!
We are so happy to have Hudson in the family!
The cute family!
I'm so happy I could be a part of this day (well half of the day)!
Boston and Hudson are going to be best buddies!!
These two were able to be a part of Hudson's special day and are happy to have a new cousin. There is the proof on Madison's shirt that I wasn't making up the story:)
We love you so much Hudson!!

Boating
We spent most of our Saturdays this summer boating. It is one of our favorite things to do! I have found a new love.... it is wake surfing. It really is so much fun!!
The whole family enjoys it. Camri wasn't so sure at first being upside down but she thought it was pretty cool.
