Christmas 2009

It is so fun having Christmas every year but it gets even more fun when the kids are getting older. When I was growing up we always had to get dressed and ready and eat breakfast before we even saw how many presents Santa brought. We were able to open our stockings as we ate dinner. I have passed this on to my family except we can't really hide the presents with the way our house is set up. Sometimes it is even hard for me to get ready because I'm so excited to see how the kids will react.

So first things first, the kids opening their stockings.

We try to all take turns opening a present so we don't all open them at the same time. You can tell from this picture that at this time it wasn't working so well. Madison was pretty excited about this dress she opened.

Garrett's guess who game.

Madison loved the candy canes from her stocking. She was trying to eat them without taking the wrapper off.
Camri loved her tinkerbell bank.

The girls playing with their toys. I wasn't too good at taking a lot of pictures this year because there was so much going on. We had a great Christmas.

Fun Times on the Ship

Is everyone sick of the cruise pictures yet? Here is my last post from my cruise. Just some of our fun times on the ship!!
We spent many nights playing games and laughing a lot. This was usually before or after we went to the shows.

One of my favorite things was sitting out on the deck enjoying the fresh air. This was a must this night because the seas were so bad and we were all starting to feel sick. The only thing that helped that was going up for some fresh air.

More pictures at dinner:)

Anyone that knows me well knows that I love to DANCE!! Put some music on and I don't care whos dancing I'm there. This picture may look worse than it really is. Let me explain....We had been in listening to Karokee and it got a little boring so I went to see what Thayne and Nicole were doing. They were watching the Latin's dance! They had a DJ that was talking in Spanish telling them what to do. It looked like some fun line dancing. Thayne said, Jenni jump in there. So of course there was music playing and it looked like tons of fun so I jumped in!! I had no idea what the guy was telling them to do so I just tried to follow along. Well then my "friend" behind me caught along that I had NO idea what was being said so he was telling me what the Dj was telling us to do. So we were all in a line and they said go down low...well that explains the picture and I had no idea it looked the way it did!!

Our next stop was the dance club...we walk in and no one is dancing. What the heck is wrong with people?? So leave it up to me to go out and there and bust a move!! Don't worry I recruited a few people so I was alone for too long.

Me and my cute sister in law Nicole.

Eating again....It seems like we did this a lot.

Eric thank you for taking me on the best vacation!! Thank you to Thayne and Nicole for inviting us to go. I must say a big THANK YOU to my mom and dad!! They were the ones that made this all possible! Thank you for taking such great care of our kids!! They had so much fun! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!

Cozumel/Grand Cayman

Our 3rd stop on our cruise was to Cozumel. We didn't have an excursion planned here but decided to share a cab with the friends we met and go to the beach.

As you can see from the clouds our beach trip didn't last very long. We were able to go snorkeling for a little but the storm moved in fast. It was fun to see the storm on the ocean but not so fun since we planned on laying on the beach and relaxing for a few hours.

My cute hubby and I with the awesome storm in the background.

On our way back to the ship after getting poured on.

Our last stop was in Grand Cayman and one of my favorites!! We went to Stingray City and swam with stingrays!! It was so fun! This is on the ship on our way out to Stingray City. It was a windy and wavy day but we survived well all except for Eric. He got pretty sea sick and threw up just a few times in the ocean.

It was so fun to hold the sting rays. I wanted to take it home with me.

Yes, all 4 of us kissed the sting ray. Apparently if you kiss them it is good luck for seven years. I tried to get a picture of Eric kissing it but the camera wouldn't work. So just for the record he kissed it too.

Belize

Our second stop was in Belize. We were able to go cave tubing there. It was a beautiful country. We were able to walk through the jungle to the river where we jumped in on our tubes and went through two caves. It was a fun experience and very dark!
We meant some friends on the boat who joined with us on our cave tubing adventure.

Our entrance to the caves.

Eric and I getting ready to jump into the water.

We were exiting the first cave to enter into the second one.

This was our tour guide! He was hilarious and made the trip way fun!
