First Boating Trip

Madison enjoyed her first boating trip last Saturday.  I guess it was also our first boating trip of the season.  We all have lots of fun boating and enjoy spending time with the family.

Camri wasn't so sure about the boat when we first started going fast.  She had to hold onto my finger the whole time and looked very nervous.
Garrett loves driving the boat.
When we go boating, all children 8 and under need to wear life jackets the whole time on the boat.  Needless to say from the picture you can tell that the life jacket didn't fit Madison very well.  Dallan and I wrapped the life jacket around her car seat.  It was actually pretty funny looking (of course I didn't take a picture of that....maybe next time.)
Lunch time.

Brotherly Love!!

Garrett is such a good big brother.  He loves both of his sisters so much.  I think he is getting a little out of control with Madison though.  Here are just a few things he has done.

This was just a cute picture...I had put them to bed for the night and when I came upstairs I looked in Camri's room and she wasn't there and I looked in Garrett's room and there she was.  The two little rascals were playing and then they both fell asleep in Garrett's bed.
We have had a little trouble with Garrett wanting to carry Madison all over the house.  This is how I found him one day.  He loves to just hold her and give her loves.  He will always tell me, "Mom, Madison is all by herself upstairs"  or "Mom, I brought Madison to you because she was crying for you".  The other day though it was pretty bad.  Madison was upstairs in her bouncer chair and next thing I know he comes in the office (which is downstairs) and says, "Mom, Madison is on the couch"  I went in the family room and sure enough there she was.  So yes, GARRETT CARRIED HER DOWN THE STAIRS!! I was like Garrett no, you can't do that.  Then a few days later we were in the backyard and he carried her our the garage and around to the backyard.  OH my, what are we going to do with him.
A few days later I walk out and Garrett is doing the above.  He got his kick board out and laid her on it and was pushing her around on the floor.  This time it was so hard for me not to laugh. As you can tell it's not Madison keeping me busy, it's Garrett and me wondering what he's going to do next.

Where's Camri?

The other day I was doing things around the house and Camri was being really quiet.  I wondered... Where is she and what is she getting in to?  Well this is where I found her.....

She had gotten soap out of the cabinet and was rubbing it all over her hands and putting her hands in the toilet.  (You can't tell from the picture but there is soap all over the toilet)  Yes, I guess it's great that she wanted to wash her hands but don't know about the fact that she was using toilet water.  You gotta love them!!!!

Eric's Helpers

Eric has been working really hard on the projects in the yard.  He is in the process of building a water fountain in the front yard and was putting river rock down.  (Well I guess it is done now, since I've been kind of behind on posting things...I will have a picture of the finished project shortly).  Well Garrett recruited all of the neighbor kids (and his cousin) to help with the rocks.  The kids would put the rocks in the bucket for Eric to put down for the water fountain.  The kids loved helping.

Trouble....

So the other morning I was just sitting on my bed and Garrett came in my room and this is how the conversation went:

Garrett: Mom, I was opening and shutting my mouth and my gum fell on the chair...
Mom: It fell on the chair?
Garrett: Yeah, and it got in someone's hair.
Mom: You got the gum in Camri's hair?
Garrett:No, it's on the bouncer chair.
Mom: You got the gum in Madison's hair?
Garrett: Yeah....

Sure enough I walk into Madison's room and there is a big wad of gum in her hair.  How many of you have ever experienced gum in your daughter's hair that is only a week old?  I guess it's a good thing that it wasn't tangled up in Camri's hair.  Needless to say I had to pull the peanut butter out to get the gum out.  Don't worry I succeeded in getting the gum out and didn't have to use any scissors.  It probably wouldn't have been so bad in her hair except I think Garrett and Camri tried getting it out themselves before they came and got me so it just got matted more in her hair.  Well that was our first adventure with Garrett and Madison...we'll see what the future holds.  Hopefully nothing to dramatic.

The gum....
She wasn't very happy with me putting peanut butter in her hair.
