Skokort!

Jag fick en beställning på ett kort som skulle gå i Betty Boob-stil och fick tipset att tänka på en av mina kolleger som smyckar sig med häftiga örhängen med donuts och muffins och klär sig i häftiga färger. När jag hade funderat ett tag kom jag att tänka på skomallen som jag fick i Vilda stamps monter på Göteborgsmässan och bestämde mig för att den skulle bli perfekt.

Jag kom inte ihåg hur de hade löst frågan om var man skriver sin hälsning, men jag har för mig att fodret till skon gick att dra ut på deras så att man kunde skriva på det, men det fick jag inte till. Jag fäste fodret och gjorde en lös mini tag som jag stämplade Grattis på och stansade ena kanten på.

Jag maskade swirlar på båda sidorna och dekorerade sedan med en stämplad muffins (phunny face) och Starytellers underbara minirosor och Prima blad.

Jag tänkte att även min sko borde ha en etikett i, precis som en riktig sko. Den jag valde kommer från ett ark som Miss Cutie Pie har designat.

Ni glömmer väl inte bort min lilla utmaning...

A winter´s tale.

The Queen song A winter´s tale could be written by Santa Claus him self during a ride in his sleigh. From the lyrics: a sliky moon up in the sky, children fantasising, am I dreaming, quiet and peacefull, magnificent view, the dreams of the world in the palm of your hand.

So I decided to make a blue and silver, moon inspired Santa sleigh, with the Magnolia angel to add to the peace and dreaming.

Santa travels the world!

Santa and his reindeers are preparing to travel the world with presents as we speek!
I got the template for this amazing sleigh and display box at Card carousel. I have used red and white cardstock and glittery cardstock. I have decorated with red ribbons, red lace, a golden lacy ribbon, golden peeloffs, red gardenias and a truckload of golden Stickles.

It was a fun projekt to do! And I love the outcome.

I made the santa sack with Bo Bunnys lovely paper Holly. You can put a gift inside the sack since it opens bu sliding the handles apart. I lined the lid with the same paper just to hide the ends of the ribbons.

On the front and the back of the sliegh it says Merry christmas in Swedish. And here you can see that I added a bit of red Stickles to the red gardenia flower.

En julig korg/ A christmas basket

Jag hittade en mall för ett bra tag sedan, jag kommer inte ihåg var, på denna söta korg som var tänkt som en blomkorg. Men en pysslare tänker utanför boxen, så det blev en pepparkakskorg! Jag valde att använda Graphic 45´s underbara papper med snöflingor för det är i pepparkksfärger. Jag målade Tilda med distresser i tre olika bruna färger.

I found a tamplate a while back that was supposed to be a flower basket. But a crafter thonks outside the boxd and I made it into a gingerbread basket. I used Graphic 45´s wonderful paper with snoflakes and stripes. I colored Tilda in the same brown colors as the paper using distress ink.

Jag övar mig på att färglägga och det blev ett ok resultat tycker jag.

Practice makes perfect, and I´m practicing coloring wiht distress ink. I´m quite happy with this result.
