Get Well Quick!

Hello crafty peeps!  I am back with more Rubbernecker Stamps inspiration.

I pulled out my Calla Lilly stamp again this week for a get well card with some soft blue tones.  The sentiment is from the new clear set, Best Friends Etc.  I colored the stamp with Copic markers and used a die to cut it out.

Join us for our challenge.  You can pop over to the blog to see what the current theme is.  You don't have to use a Rubbernecker Stamps stamp to play along, but you could win some cash to use in the shop.

Card measures 55" x 4.25"

Get Well

Welcome back Rubbernecker Fans! It is my turn to be featured over on the Rubbernecker blog. I made this card using the pill bottle from the new clear Get Well set.

I colored the stamp with Copic markers and cut it out using a stitched rectangle die from Echo Park.  The sentiment came from the Best Wishes set which is now in clear.  I cut the curved sentiment apart and stamped it in a straight line to fit my card.

All of the new clear sets are available in the shop along with their matching dies.  It is so exciting!  Don't forget to play along in the challenge because you have a chance to win a gift certificate for the Rubbernecker store.  Those clear sets and matching dies are waiting for you!  So what are you waiting for?!

Cuddle Up!

I have an adorable card to share with you.  I discovered an artist, Rachelle Anne Miller, and I love her illustrations!  Some of her artwork is also available in rubber stamp form and I bought a few from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  This one is Cuddle Up and Keep Warm.

The stamp is colored with Copics.  It is a fairly large stamp so the card had to be large.  I doodled some stitching around he background paper to simulate the stitching on the patches.  I think it makes an adorable get well card.  I followed a sketch from a Facebook challenge in the Kit and Clowder group.  If you love to color, this is the group for you.  Everyone is so supportive and encouraging, not to mention the best of enablers!!  I am also entering this in the Wonderful Wednesday challenge at the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog.

Draggin' Dragon

The challenge at Pike's Playground is Shades of Green.  I showed this card to my daughter and she said, "Um...it's really green."  So I guess I met the challenge!

My co-worker is having surgery next week, so I made this card to send to her as she recuperates.  I have had this printed for a while and was waiting for the perfect opportunity to use it.  I colored the image with colored pencils blended with baby oil.  Have to keep this short...I am almost out of time!
