it was the first gold and last gold we got at 2006's first nbc with csb.
i made myself remember this date on that very day.
last sat's result announcing at nbc brought back so much memories..
both happy and sad memories.
since it was at SCH, it brought back more sad ones lor hahaha.
whatever it is, i miss those csb days.
all the fun and crazy times.

10th july; mjcsb & tpband nbc.went for mj band for 1 hour in the morning, more like to gossip.
then lunch at white sands manhattan fish market.
i have a potential good jump shot camera!
the exact same people with the exact pose, only different background, during our jump shot during christmas lunch last year!!!
after rehearsing the pieces at tp, we went for super early dinner at 4pm.
ate opposite school.

cedarband did well for nbc with persis, congrats!

definitely improved from the may concert.

hello i shall blog before i forget everything that happened last weekend.saturday.
had band prac in the morning from 9am - 12pm, band fiesta songs.
section went to kovan to eat lunch at the korean-japan place. hoho :D
it was darn early when we reached back school.
OHHH, i thought i saw wanning. hahaha.
until i met shuhui in the middle of the assembly plaza who told me that alicia was going to rock-climb later.
and confirmed that the person i saw was wanning. lol.
it rained.
a problem to move instruments to the truck.
used bubble wraps and all..
AND the truck didn't have the lever technology which makes our lives easier.
so it was all manual labour.
honour band in concert.
okay it was super boring waiting for our turn to perform.
the only thing i liked waiting outside was the random fireworks which started shooting into the air during random times. (:

i thought we seriously screwed it up this time.
i admit i went out of beat for like a few bars but believed that i'll get back soon. ha. -.-
but there were comments from various people that it was better than competition day.

oh i spotted livia from stage. HAHA.
she was too prominent due to the striking blue cedar blouse. xD
and lanxin they all (don't know who else?) were there too.
saw lionel. then bryan and him started their funny 'relationship'.

anyhow, everything was over.
waited for the truck to come..
it took bloody long to come! must be go and lim kopi or go pa-tor with the wife/girlfriend who was on the truck.. tsk.
then it was girls power time!
i still think we're damn pro, 5 girls lifting the chimes (it's all metal!!!) up and 2 guys catching it from the top.

chionged home after moving.
left school at 11.30pm, reached home at around 12.15am.
slept at 12.50am after bathing and dinner. [that's damn fast!]
but i was floating around the house before i went to sleep cos i was so tired.
sunday.
reported for band at 1.30pm. (i forgot?)
moved instruments for the nth time that week.
headed for botanical gardens for band fiesta.
oh while giving out the fans to the public, i saw cheryl! :D
percussion picnicked on the mat after settling down.
i thought i saw choy's brother dwayne walked past and we stared at each other. LOL.
confirmed identity upon immediate smses via choy.
continued sitting on the mat, figuring out methods to wear our ties.
i became the sample for the hair design. but it failed i guess.

since 80% of the time i was trying to whack as hard as possible on the drumset cos it's really soft from the audience's sides.

yeah and i saw 4 messages received on my phone screen.
not long after, bryan said he just woke up so we went ahead with our lor ah soo prata breakfast-lunch plan.
didn't manage to finish alot of homework afterall.

omg it's such a sad show that i was swimming in tears.
yes a new thing to do when you watch sad shows, right choy?

was buying meiden presents just now at ps.
then i saw like 3 cedarians i know in the shop itself. HAHA.
shuhui (for the 2nd time this week), bihuan and shihan.
don't know why but i just like the feeling of seeing cedarians outside.
it gives you the warmth and 'we were once a family' feeling, somehow.
i still love and miss cedar!

national band competition 2008MJCSB: 84.07% GOLD! (with choy as the secretary recording results xD)
3RD IN FIRST DIVISION! :D

yay yay yay what a happy weekend! (:
and guess what, i think i didn't look at the score for armenian during the whole thing. -.-
but it's reality world tmr.. ):
it doesn't even feel like there's school tmr!

CONGRATS TO CEDAR BANDFOR GETTING GOLD WITH DISTINCTION WITH 87%!

everything's happening on the 12th. i'm still sensitive to 12ths..
i guess this is the first good one :D
good enough to cover up for the bad 12ths. lol.
some misunderstanding about meeting time. haha.
plus i think my phone is crazy cos i couldn't receive messages but can send.
so i thought the whole world is not replying me. HAHA.
woke up at 8.40am (yaju reached) and chionged down to vch for cedar's performance.
yaju almost got 'lost'. aha.
bought tickets.
they're the last few.. lucky us.
oh guohao and another mj guy were working at the counter and door. lol.
and heng we made it just in time for cedar's performance! (:
great performance put up except for some minor parts. hehhe yay! :D
ohhh and screw my mp3, it fucking died on me (don't know what's the problem either, just cannot start recording) when i wanted to record !!
but it's okay, not as if its quality is fantastic. HAHA.

chatted quite a bit with desmond, he was looking for extra tickets cos apparently the tickets were sold out. (that's why i said we got the last few tickets)

there was only 2 snares & 1 stand, crash and suspended cymbals left for us to play.
so it was about hitting tables. ahaaa.

lunched with the gays at tampines mall.
went back to city hall there and met yaju.
we almost couldn't make it on time again. HAHA.
we were running/brisk-walking all the way to vch.
so by the time we reached, we were panting and sweating like cows.
after the thankings and judges introduction, it was results.
haha mr nonami was one of the judge! i still think he's so cute! xD
anyway the primary schools got gold.
and cedar was the 3rd band.
chua chu kang got gold with distinction of 85%.. *kanchiongs a bit*

then, cedar's turn.
87% *WAH!* and gold with distinction! :D
hung around again.
decided to sit inside the hall to wait for 1st division to start.
there were only 5 bands.
tk sounded nice, la forza! hoho. (:

had to report the results to like val, choy, siying, lingmei. HAHA.
when my phone batt was dying.
eh i saw my brother performing too! lolll.
he looked so small from far. hahaha, but he's taller than me..

yeah saw 1/5 of the fireworks on the way to macs.
we were blocked by this building at that location..
