part of me can't wait for concerts and performances to be over in mid-jan..
seriously it doesn't feel like holidays have ended.
i think i'm gonna be stuck in the holiday mood for quite some time..
but i need to complete project tasks too. no facebook soon!
anyway i didn't oversleep for swsy practice today! amazing :D
best part was i only slept for 4 hours.. o.O
yeah sightread some pieces and ran through some.
some interesting pieces. ha.
headed down to pomo for jamming.
cool, 3rd and last jamming session and we're off for rehearsals at cedar.
gotta familiarise myself more with the 2 songs we did today..
homecoming's in 4 days!
i've got some other songs i need to spam on my ipod too.
shall put them on repeat mode.
after jamming 4 of us went to rent amps and keyboard at boons.
then we went for taohuay at pp!!! :D :D
wow then we talked about oac days.. random batchmates and teachers.. reminiscing.
it was nice talking about the good ol' days we had, can't believe oac was something which happened almost 5 years ago.
we had good laughs at some funny incidents which happened then too.
those were the best memories to have.. (:
i'm really glad i could still stay connected with the school and friends.
getting back together and practise for a performance once in awhile is a good thing.
yeah it's good to do all these while we're still young and less busy..
3 places to go later, gotta sleep.
although i had a 4 hour nap just now after i reached home.

yesterday.morning, swimming at safra with gwee siying.
hahaha we swam only 400m, 1 round around the track.
after swimming, we walked to tampines mall. and passed by a playground.
ate lunch at pizza hut :D
shopped around. spent money at popular this time, at least not on clothes.
went home cos we were too sleepy to walk anymore.
took a 1 hour or so nap.
then left house for jamming at pomo centre.
ate dinner at macs.
jamming session was rather fruitful. (:
it was fun and we managed to get things in place yay.
i like the room too, nice red cushioned walls. hahaha.
the next session is going to be quite some time from now, very near the performance day!
gotta spam the songs. and i shall learn the lyrics if i'm free haha.
it was left with siying evan and i after jamming, the rest had to rush off.
we decided to have a bit of supper. lol.
so we went to 7-11 to find stuff...
i bought the meiji strawberry yoghurt drink which i've never seen/drank before.
evan and her cup noodles.

the 3 of us shared a cab home.
reached home at about 1.50am..
today.

for dinner, we went to food for thought.
nice place. eat and do good deeds at the same time!
after eating, we talked about alot of things!

i'm glad for all the friends i have. the years of friendship.
though we may not meet as often but i still think of them from time to time.
may friendships last.

projects are killing me now.because i don't have the time to meet up to do them!
wah fucked up man.
this is the most packed
everything's so packed we arranged our next jamming session at a 10.30pm slot.
i'm gonna say this again: 2 weeks where got enough?!?!
who's unbooked on christmas please find me. HAHA or maybe i should slack at home. (:

practice starts at 11am and i woke up at 10.45am.
sigh. but seriously, i have no more motivation to drag myself down for practices.
the sl responsibility was passed down to me, but i'm a useless one.
is there even a proper section in the first place?
at least i'm glad alfri still comes..
oh yeah the songs today.
omg hobbits is like mj memories lah, the traumatic concert for me. HAHA.
but mallets part for hobbits is like just nice for me, playable.
unlike pieces we played at ai last night. o.O
mallets noob. shall start preparing my 2010 resolution, lol.

i only know it's the place perc'04 always overnight kbox at.. ha, paradiz centre?
bus-ed home with siying.
i dislike taking buses on weekend nights, especially when it passes by 小 xx. go figure :P
and then attempted discussing bizstats project online but failed badly.

met up with yeongeun, siying and yaju for brunch at city hall/marina square.
last meet-up before yeongeun goes back to korea.. ):

i saw yixiong on the train and jason at the train station..
it was funny/scary to have a herd of people running past you along an empty citylink.
finally decided to eat at pasta de waraku.
we were the first customers of the shop :D

went to mrs woo's house for cny visit in the afternoon :D

anyway we went to the bus terminal to check and there was still bus. CHEATER! xP
bus-ed home with livia while the rest took 27.

so i played mallets and guoping played auxillaries. \:
it was quite a bad choice to play mallets cos i only played like 5% of the song. HAHAHA PATHETIC SHIT LAH!
my mallet sightreading hasn't gotten any better......
and then home.

monday; 9th february
headed down to the primary school to tutor. choy went too..
as usual, it was havoc. haha.
anyway, we dinnered at bugis foodcourt (again).
then jap lesson! :D
mum choy escorted us up cos she wanna kpo and see how the place looks like. HAHA.
anyway lesson that day was damn funnyyy! [back rows as usual lol]
this guy said something which still makes me laugh at it up till today.

tuesday; 10th february
went back to cedar to rehearse for cedar fiesta performance.
everyone was late.. siying was early!
omg tuesday was fishball noodle day! okay but no fishball noodle that day..
so ba chor mee was the replacement but i still like! :D
you only see this in a girls school i guess. HAHAHAHA.
evan reached and we practised at the piano beside the canteen.
like free performance, we should just busk there man. aha.
anyway novabelle went for a meeting so evan siying and i went down to the band room to practise there instead. cos we were drum-less.

we decided to go and eat tauhuay at pp while waiting for novabelle!
and so our dinner was all junk food man.
oreo bubble tea, large macs fries shared between 3 person, 1 bowl of tauhuay + 1 bowl of 5 dumpling/tangyuan shared between 3 person.
we entertained ourselves with siying's psp.
played the taiko game with under the double eagle. HAHAHAHA HILARIOUS!
i shall video it on saturday cos i forgot to video even though i said i wanted to.
anyway we competed seeing who can fail with lowest score. o.O
walked to boon after meeting kiat and novabelle to jam.
the 2 hours past damn quickly.
well we may need one more session. haha sat's the performance, evan's going camping!
so maybe sometime on friday and saturday.
i keep forgetting what are the parts!
for eg. i reached home that night and was thinking which song was the one that i was supposed to add more hi-hat and which song i was supposed to disappear for one verse..

we went home after that.
siying and i dropped off at serangoon and decided to hunt for food - hungry.
at first we craved for macs fries, again.
then we decided to eat at the kopitiam.

wednesday; 11th february
primary school-ed again, this time with lingmei. haha.
mr ong said something funny to us today. how come people are getting funnier these days?
anyway, the kids are cute.
but they're cuter when they listen to you and stop running about. HAHA.
headed down to city hall/suntec.
met siying and we went to carrefour to see her blades. her sudden urge 2 days ago, aha!
she bought her blades despite the sucky service the man provided.
here's the scenario:

man: keep then pay at the cashier.
siying: i'm supposed to keep myself?!?!
man: -ignores and no reply-
so wtf right.
then we decided on fish&co for dinner after val and christine arrived.
it was to celebrate val's birthday.
sometime when we were finishing our food, they made val sit on the higher chair and sang birthday song for her :D

okkk short post and i'm off.tutorial day today = all tutorials and only 1 lecture.
almost dieded.
until the last lesson of the day, double GP, i was already stoning worst than the stonefish and the animals we saw at the zoo.
we were supposed to do that practice paper and i read the paragraph for like 10 times and the question 10 times but i still dont know how to write the answer so i ended up with short short answers and a couple of blanks. \:
ahh so dismissed chionged to cedar.
met carmen at the bus stop and wow, i officially sold one concert ticket. HAHA. -.-
then i saw regina at the school gate so i went along to the office to get my o level cert too with her. ho, i didnt intend to collect it today.
then novabelle called me to go band room. mrs tan then asked me how do i carry the bass drum bla so i told her and i carried it to the hall with mr ronnie goh.
uh rehearsed till 7plus. waaah the sky darken so fast, so it was just the eerie and creepy school compound and us then. i think it's my first time walking in the just-so-eerie school after dark with less than 10 people in school. lol.
walked to pp and ate dinner with mr goh since we're all intending to go and eat.
haha then we were having some 'cedar life' talk. interesting eh?
talk about being unglam everywhere in jc cos we're just too used to doing whatever we want anywhere, like changing. LOL.
talk about the triple-science 'block' and our block. X:
scenario:
you walk along the triple-science classes and you'll see people studying and the classroom is totally quiet even when there is no teacher inside.
you walk along the other side of the block and you'll see people screaming and jumping around in the classroom even when there is a teacher inside. (ok maybe not that exaggerating but it's that noisy and crazy)

who knows? but i'll get freaked out myself though. ha!

something random before i go off: my brother asks me what do they test for auditions, how do i know when i'm not from his school. AHA, cos he has auditions tmr. lol. maybe some basic stuff like single stroke but how i know?! k nvm. maybe i can be nice and teach him in future.

gotta chiong for saturday's 50th anniversary performance seh.
