HA, i think i'm obsessed with orient express now.dunno if that's the right word to describe. ho!
was listening to it with yaju when we were having our corn-eating session + bubble tea.
when i reached home, i set it to repeat mode and it played on for 2hours or so.
but anyway, it's niceee. (x
yesterday we had band in the dark.
today we had band in the sun. (maybe percussion only la)
12pm sun sucks man. )x
so hot with no fan. blehhh.
and i seriously have super bad stamina.
not enough air to blow the train whistle.
look at my 2.4 and you'll know. haha and see how long i take..
i cant be a woodwind/brass player. LOL.
oh and sir's not coming anymore i think.
he was so lame today! hahaha.
too lazy to type out again cos i've typed to carmen and i forgot who on msn already.
yeah so after band didnt feel like going home so yaju and i went to kovan to have our corn.
went to the bus stop with lingmei too and we had some 'green bottle' rhyme or whatever you call it.. it was super ... rubbish, nonsense? lol.
OH OH OH, there were 2 xiao mei meis (they look young la) who litreally chased after us to do some survey all the way into heartland mall. we almost wanted to run but we'll look stupid. -.-
then while eating, we were interpreting the music of orient express. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
the beginning: at the crowded and noisy station. lol!
although some parts still couldnt be interpreted properly. ahaha.
hoho i've got my new phone! xD
to be kiasu, i've put orient express into the memory card already while it's still charging now. hahaha, i'm efficient.
anyway,
i think i'd better go do some work. ahhh.
but i super no mood for work. dieee la.

maaan, i'm gonna give up doing my pi. (actually, i haven't started. \:)cos i know for sure i cant finish it by tonight.

ohh today's compass lesson had time management stuff.
ahleelu! actually i realised that i'm somewhat organised.
i make timetables when needed but i've never followed it.
yeah, i plan alot but dont ever follow what i planned.
(maybe besides outings and gatherings. LOL, cos that's not work-related. xD)
so that's procrastinating? ha, i'm the pro at it since sec-i-dunno-what.
i'm still trying to get rid of that habit till now. lolll.
but at least for the survey i belong to the normal teenager category. hahaha.
i shall go off now since pi is not my thing now.

i look damn dead after every lecture/tutorial everyday.
i think my eyes have become even smaller already.

pre-sick.symptons: throat pain, no appetite, brain not working very well.
grrr. i shall continue to drink more water later, just finished a bottle.
i usually do this when i predict i'm gonna get sick. ha.
band's getting more hiong ..
gotta persevere man!

aye and i wanna join cheerleading ah, but no time for practice with band everyday. haha.
i miss cheerleading. lol.
even though i took zillion of years to learnt the dance last year and helping people to train 6 packs while teaching me the dance.
ho, i haven't forgotten, the 90degrees one took me forever to get it right. (:
it was good experience though. heh.
k laa, i guess i really got no time for it..
maybe i can randomly go and find someone to lift next time. HAHAHA, beware.
i should be able to get my phone sometime this week or next week! YAYYY.
at least my father finally decided to ask me about it.
i got damn pissed off with him on monday when i asked him about the phone and i got the same reaction as before.

it was irritating okay.

i'm tired at this point of time.
but well, i feel like blogging. (x
BAND CAMP
friday - day 1:
had sectionals till evening then we went for dinner first before continuing with combined practice till around 9plus almost 10.
went to the classrooms aka bunks to put our bags there.
gathered back at the band room for 'dial m'.
we started the game at like 11plus.. haha.
uhh then our group came out with a formation when walking.
that is, 2 guys leading in front and 2 guys at the back, and of course the girls in the middle. (we need them to protect us! cos all the girls were scared? lol!)
not too bad, we got to go to 3 stations before the game was stopped.
cos there were like 10 complaints from the residents. -.-
actually our stations werent scary at all actually. haha.
first was classroom with mr soh (how to spell?) who happened to pass by only. so watched a video.. the next clue was at some ulu bench and they ran away immediately when they took the clue away cos they were scared something would grab their legs. HAHAHA.
second was atrium whereby we watched another video.. with lights off though, but still okay.
third was the library. got fake clue ah.
there was this clue at the front of the library but as we thought, the clue/picture showed a different background so we went to the back of the library. hur, and ta-da! the real clue! HA.
yeah so washed up and got ready to sleep.
everybody in my room was studying before sleeping. ahaa.
so slept at 2 and woke up at 7plus.. the tables not nice to sleep one! so hard.
day 2:
ate breakfast with group 8. and then started writing our story for 'dial m'.
hahaha and we ended up writing about something invisible powers and joining fantastic four.. that was from jonathan i think. interesting eh? xD
went for wet games after that.
it was quite fun though. getting wet is damn shiok!
there was this station, our forfeit was to lie on the track and let the other group to spray water on us. oh, so willing to! haha.
after that i borrowed the hose and had a bathe. nice water~
yeah then bathed after being dismissed and everything..
had quite alot of time so we played cards in our room.
until around almost 2 then we went down to the band room.
ON THE WAY DOWN..
I MET SIR!!!
omg i TOTALLY FROZE on the spot when i saw him climbing up the stairs to the 2nd level and i just climbed down from the 3rd level to the 2nd.
that familiar figure..
it took me awhile to absorb the fact that it was sir.
he stared for awhile too, and said his trademark "hello!". (:
so dewi and yijun went ahead first and i chatted with him on the way to the band room.
he asked questions about cedar.
which i thought seemed only like yesterday when he left cedarband.. i, have left too.
he was like.. so did you hear them play on their syf?
and then.. 'did you cry with them?'
the feeling was, i dont know how to say.
so i went 'err, sorta'. haa.
in the band room, i cant wait for yaju to come in k!
cos i know she'll be as shocked and happy to see him. heh.
so she chatted a bit with sir for awhile too.
it just felt so good to see him again, and chat with him. (:
so he tutored us, outdoors. DAMN HOT. ):
his teaching methods and all were still the same.
he still asks people to count out loud when playing.. but it's a good method k cos i've experienced it before, and like since sec 1 we've been asked to do that. (:
his 'hello's were still the same.
i miss his 'hello', his playings, his sectionals with percussion.
many things just went through my mind luh..
all the memories we had with him. ahh.
arrr just too happy for words to see him again, it's been 2 long years! (:
yaaa then had combined and sir left. ha, duh.
wasnt very good ..
then we went to eat dinner after that.
some rather emo atmosphere. hmm.
but anyway, we moved the instruments down and waited for the bus to come for SCH rehearsal at 7.30.
it wasnt a very nice rehearsal though..
uhh then we left at around 10plus? cant remember.
SCH is filled with lotsa memories, almost every corner of it.
i started thinking alot.. you know, cedarband's 2 syfs of which 1 we've personally experienced and the other, witnessed. even rehearsals.
i was familiar with almost every part of SCH, but not the stage. well.
and yupp, so reached school and we were dismissed to rest.
many called macs and after thinking for a long time, i decided to join in with the clar people etc.
cos i ate pocky already. >.<
anyhow, we sat at the bench and tried gossiping and entertaining ourselves with wonderful sec 1 experiences. hahaha.
yeah and then our macs came..
ohyeah, like almost everybody was mugging and completing homeworks at the study benches with macs.
mugging environment, good for me! haha i need this kinda influence. (:
soon after, the others went to sleep so left yaju and i.
so we sat there listening to mp3. haha.
after that, moved chairs out of the classroom to sit outside and chat.
hur then went to sleep at around 3.
yaju joceyln and i slept on the floor. lol.
it's much nicer to sleep than on the table!
day 3:
reported at 8.30 for breakfast and went to pack up.
went back to band room at 10.
watched videos and photos..
took band photo and dismissed at 11plus.
and of course we took section photo and group photo too. (x

ya then chionged home..
wore red top to band. haha, sounds like national day or chinese new year visiting huh.
then had phototaking at the end of band prac for i'm-not-sure-what.
i think it's the esplanade something.. maybe related to beautiful sunday la.

finished PI.and that gp presentation i did only a lil' bit..
supposed to hand in by sunday 10pm but i got band camp. so i'll only be free after like 7 when i reach home. lol.

anyway, i'm OFF.
i haven't pack band camp stuff yet. it's 1AM now!
at least there're only 2 lectures tmr. (x
not forgetting dear pe whereby we'll be running 2.4. sheesh.

for night games, people('s ears) are gonna suffer, badly.
you'll get what i mean after you hear me scream cos i'm timid. HAHA.
some of my dear friends has experienced it. hoho.
a good example would be the 2 haunted house experiences with tsuwie for the first time and 2p mates for the second time. omg thinking of it, it's damn funny. xD

i'm gonna get less than 5 marks for geog test out of 25.was practically stoning throughout the whole lecture and seeing how long people are writing.
i think due to lack of sleep, when i was trying to study during break i read and read and read but it's like my brain is blocked and nothing can go in. TSKK.
overall school wasnt that bad today.
ahh i still dont know the topic graphing technique. seems chim to me leh.. ):
anyway i think we'll be going for consultation session soon cos i need it. ha, lol.
band after school was sectionals as usual just that ms sia came.
and i seriously want it to be true! *hopes- (:
i'll be yay-ly happy if he were to appear at the door.

shall start with yesterday.band.
on my 1 hour bus journey, i was reading othello.
guess what? i only read 10 pages. HAHA damn pathetic.
then practice was alright.
concert pieces as usual. ho.
then i dont know how come during break we started talking about encounters. you know, those strange and scary ones. lolol.
man i dont want section outing to any of the places. ahahahaha.
OHYEAH, and i'm no vocalist la! i'm a percussionist, cant sing properly! omg. LOL!
ahh ya then trained home with alfri and his junior..
chionged finish the PI (duh, i need to hand in today) and did some homework at night.
slept after i finished the gp paper.
maths i totally didnt know how to do!
i feel super lag and dead now.. and there's maths test next monday.
so as you can see, life is getting busier. AHHH.
(hur, busy = no time for emoing ah. )
i gotta finish up the maths tutorial which will take at least hours for me to figure out what the hell is it about and another summary for functions topic by wednesday.

AND TMR, there's jamming session at night for cedar's 50th anniversary performance.

band today was okay.8.30 - 4.30.. hmm, not too bad, just that percussion didnt had alot of parts to practise.
but well, it's syf and even the smallest parts count.
morning was sectionals throughout. safari was all we did?
we're playing sunrise anyway, so no more safari.
lunch we ordered canadian pizza with oboe as merged section. each person to half a pizza.
reminded of o's studying period with my cool classmates in the library - the library gang.. i miss it. i miss going to cedar library. ):
had combined practice after that when ms sia came at 1.30.
went to airport to study with yaju after that. ate dinner.
yeah we took out our papers and stuff, BUT we were talking and talking and if we weren't, we'd be stoning (like cedar tree like what carmen describes as).
uhh so we decided to leave at 8 in case we stone anymore there.
did a lil' bit more of my PI just now.
aiyah, any progress is still progress. lol.
i just cant think of anything for the campaigning part. GRR.
i dont know why i'll think of cedarband when i hear mj play sunrise. (maybe by any other band too?)
maybe it's because i first heard the tune of sunrise being played there.
maybe it's because i felt that their sunrise was nicely played for
maybe it's because i've listened to their sunrise recordings too many times.
maybe it's because i've heard them improve as days passed..
feelings have developed.
if you ask me how many times have i listened to the sunrise recording, it'd be uncountable..
and well, i know many are still quite disappointed..
it's hard to get over it, time is the key thing to getting over it.
after climbing up, it'll be time to get ready for any battle ahead.
and through these battles, it'll be the one again in 2 years time.
through each battle, you'll get stronger.
by the time the one arrives again, you'll be strong enough to win.
i feel myself in the juniors shoes 2 years back.
history has repeated itself again, and the whole cycle goes on..

SYF'07a different meaning of silver - indifferent silver.
ya'll played well, enjoyed yourselves and most importantly had no regrets.
sunrise was the best i've heard from them.
yiddish although it could've been better, it was still good.
I AM PROUD OF CEDARBAND, VERY. (:
i know ms sia was too, she walked off the stage, smiling like we'd never seen her did before.
we all know, deep in our hearts, we deserve the gold.
the gold is there, right there in each of our hearts.
somehow part of our goal is achieved and that's the best thing ever.
seriously i feel more happy and proud of them than feeling sad after thinking about it.
even though we didnt go through all the intensive practices with the band, we could feel the amount of hardwork put in thus being able to feel their disappointment like they do when the results came.
to ALL juniors, good job! (:
i almost burst into tears when the band was going onstage and with sir tuning the timpani at the back, i mean the scene is just so.. heartwarming?
amusing isnt it.
2 years ago, he was the one who lead us on our journey.
last saw him exactly 1 year 11 months ago. finally got to see him.
and i didnt get to say hi to him, let alone talk to him.
we got so excited and almost wanted to shout to him and wave. maybe even jumping up to the stage or wherever he is. >.<
he jiayou-ed for percussion i think! only knew that i saw him said something to them..
and hannui they all said he said: "ya'll have grown so much." ahhh..
i also want to go syf and play so that i can hi to him! HAHA. -.-
(uhh maybe jc one he'll also be tuning huh, got hope?! xD)

well, i guess this is how much i miss him. ):
anyway, ms sia and mr ong are people i wont forget too, great conductors too. (:
they brought the band to greater heights with better playing standards.
honestly, the band has improved tremendously over these few months of practices. yay.
i heard that a japanese judge stood up and clapped after we finished playing :D
and ohwell, i guess the medal aint that important afterall..
(mdm lum was like, at least got medal ma! -.-)
what makes one most happy is the joy in the process of making the music.
and i realised how important it is to enjoy, once you've enjoyed yourself, results dont really matter anymore. (:
and what a suay day today. damnit.

hmm, syf 2005 came back to me again.
i randomly thought of the motivational sessions we had before the syf period, like the one whereby we close our eyes together in the band room and picture the gold in front of us and reach for it.
finding them dumb at that point of time but thinking of it now, we really did want to reach our goals badly then.
same for syf 2007.
who doesnt?
we used to be band no. 39. the announcing of the results was the worst part.
exactly one year ago, at the same venue..
anyway, today's results wasn't very nice i guess..
1 gold, 9 silvers, 16 bronzes.

hoho. overdued pictures.taken on band bbq day.
that's percussion!
linlin (the one sitting down) prefers to give us moral support.
went to SCH today!
haha i think it was fun today. xD
there was siying, yaju, carmen and ruixian who went.
saw nazreen and alfri there! ho.
yeah we reached there rather early. it's like we reached and after buying our lunch from the vending machine, we heard they just left school. -.-
aha so sat and eat.
ms sia and mr ong came and talk to us.
then ms sia said mr ong came not to look at us, but the food. LOL.
and i became the jacket hanger. ahahaha.
but all the jackets i was holding came into use in the conference hall. (x
the schools there were compassvale, chung cheng (yishun), woodlands, cedar, junyuan and tkgs.
compassvale played jalan-jalan, chung cheng (yishun) played armenian dances, woodlands played folklore for band, then was cedar! followed by junyuan who played at the summit and tkgs with their toccata & fugue in d minor.
and all played sunrise. haha.
got quite sick of it by the end of the day. -.-
it'd be interesting-er if someone was to play safari. heeee.
it turned out reddish/orangish. (lightings?)
the sea of blue.
i miss being DARK blue.
each school played had 2 rounds of playing onstage.
then each school played the set piece for another round..
aha and then the tk-mj band people came over to sit. (mini mj band gathering lehhh. lol)
oops we were quite noisy. HAHA.
i saw mrs tan look at us a few times. scary seh.
helped to move the bells stand onto the bus.
AHHH that uncle is fucking irritating. attitude problem bus driver. @!#$%^&&^%$#@!
ruixian and i were carrying it up the bus and at first he just said it's the other bus bla bla.. (but it wasnt.)
here comes the damn it part..

then me: WTF.
i dont even remember the stand was THAT close to the glass..
i was cursing him and i was facing him. i think he saw but too bad.
maybe it doesnt sound that irritating but the tone he uses is so qian bian.
yaju they all even said they heard him say something like "hurry up, i want to faster go cos behind very noisy.." i think he means the people on the bus are noisy.
i think this is quite interesting though.
cos he thinks when he drive the bus off the people will stop talking! LOL?!
anyhow.
he didnt spoil my day. HAHAHA.
ruixian yaju carmen and i went taking photos.
we took with the statues. i only have one, the others are with ruixian.
in the middle of the pathway. -.-
this is the not-that-spastic one already. there're worst ones..
totally random.
yeah then went for dinner at raffles city, city hall and went home.
cedarband's playing improved. but still can be improved..
i think lack expression.
and for the first round we could sense the nervousness. lol.
so just dont be too nervous (or excited? right, jessica? HAHA) on that day.
wah it feels like we nervous with them also. LOLLL.

i got no mood for work.i just want to sleep, stone and chat whole night.
i'm in holiday mood already la. cos friday no school. X:
i always have this early holiday mood thing, early by around 1, 2 days.
damn it.
but i shall try to do the econs tutorial later..
i think i'll take damn long to figure out how to do.

and yeah, i planned my timetable already.
but i got this feeling it wont be followed. \:
i think i have to rewrite it soon cos of the increase in the no. of band practices. lol, must update and add the extra activities in. ha.
this sat band from 8.30 - 5? something like that..
mm, dont think i'm going for the overnight movie marathon tmr already. like so few people going and i wanna have a proper sleep. (:
friday most probably going down to sch (singapore conference hall, not school) to watch cedarband's rehearsal.

it's been almost 2 years when most of us last saw him..
he was a patient guy who had tried his best. (:
and as percussion's tutor, he was a good one too..
our post-syf was kinda horrible, terrible and emoish.
i still remember i had 2.4km napfa the next morning and i almost cried running/walking. lol i know it sounds quite stupid though but it's true. (i got an E, but re-ran. haha!)

back from school. early right? xDended at 12.55.
it was alright as usual la.
just that a bit tired.. tskk.
anyway, sat's band bbq was interesting. lol.
just that i smelt of smoky chicken wing when i reached home. and even after bathing the smell is still there.
haha, i/percussion was fanning the fire. (or how do i phrase it? but as long as you get what i mean, it's okay.)
then we stood the whole night, talking. -.-
the pit wasnt big, and very limited chairs/benches/seats.
mm, overall it was fun. (:
ah, yupp.
then reached home at around 12.40am.
yaju took cab home from my house cos there were no more buses at that time to go her house.
slept at 2 lorrr..
sunday went for band.
i tried taking 100 from cedar there to ulu pandan..
omg my butt pain! haha cos it took one hour. -.-
but i found out alot of places it passes by on the way. HAHA i'm so suaku.
it passes by like vch, sch, esplanade, suntec queensway shopping centre and i didnt know.
so now i know. lolll.
and ya.
i got dental appointment at 3.
you know you know, continued from my barrier story long ago. ahaaa.
the dentist guy said need to go back around 3, 4 times. today's my 2nd time.
1, 2 more to go.. hurhur.
anyway.
gotta study later. got some 15min open book econs 'test' tmr. LOL.
and got maths tutorial..
