Här är en glimt ur vad jag stickade i en av uppgifterna på textilutbildningen jag går. Vi skulle göra olika stick- och virkexperiment med struktur, färg och materialet om utgångspunkt. Sedan skulle vi även göra antingen mössa, vantar eller strumpor. Jag gjorde en vante och en strumpa, för att visa att jag kan göra de olika momenten. Som strumpa ville jag att den skulle tilltala ungdomar och även killar, så det blev ett eget försök att konstruera denna design. Eleverna gillar den, även om jag skulle modifiera mönstret om jag ville göra ett "riktigt" par. De har fått converse märket också, bestående av en virkad rundel med svart broderad stjärna, efter det att denna bild togs.

Själv har jag nu sökt jobb i den butik som jag handlar alla mina tyger i. Tror jag ligger bra till med både lång syvana och drygt 15 års säljvana...
Man vet aldrig. Dessutom är det bara 60% så då måste jag få snurr på mitt lilla företag på allvar så att jag delvis kan leva på det. Lite läskigt känns det, men man måste ju våga...
