so, the court decided that 'Allah' can be used by people of religions other than Islam to refer to their gods. i seriously understand the paranoia attacking the conservative Muslims. in fact, i'm half conservative and half liberal (not to the extent of saying that alcohol is halal to be consumed by Muslims.) and i do have my say on this. this should not be a really big issue. Like what Ustaz Asri (a.k.a MAZA) said, how possible for it to lead to confusion when they call their gods 'allah' may be dealt clearly when we know our Allah truly from our heart. our strong faith/tauhid is important and once we know that our Allah is the one and only, they may call their gods by whatever names they wanted to.
our prophet's name is Muhammad bin abdullah (note the word 'Allah' after the word abd) even though his father was not a muslim and the name was given by his grandfather who again, was not a muslim. this is to show that allah, in Arabic generally means god.
what i hope from my fellow muslims is not to show our hostillity towards a very small issue making them having a very bad idea on ISLAM, the MOST BEAUTIFUL RELIGION!
