Meow....At the Moon

I had to share this with all of you!
My mom was visiting this weekend and we were planning to attend

It just happened to be here birthday as well!
I have used so many professional bakeries over the years and
had my eye on one weekly for about a year...
and you will never guess where!
Albertson's Grocery store!
I have paid big bucks for specialty cakes!
I could see that this store was different and wanted to give it a shot!
Well, I am so glad I did!
The cake was exactly like I wanted and she did it all for $50!

So, check with you local grocery stores...You never know!

Juice Box Mummies

Who is ready for Halloween?

I am really getting into the mood with all of the
party inspiration that I am seeing everywhere!

How about these little cuties?

Mummy wrapped juice boxes!

Just wrap up those boxes with white electrical tape
or cheese cloth would work at well.
Add some adhesive backed googly eyes
to the front and poke a hole in the top for the straw!
What a fun idea to serve at a child's
Halloween party or a fun surprise for their lunch boxes!

I am doing this one for sure!!

Tricks and Treats

Here are a couple of Tricks and Treats
I have done in the past.

The first is a fun decoration to
hang from your trees Halloween night!

All you need is:
White Balloons
Glow sticks
Cheesecloth
Black Marker
String

Activate your glow stick first
(small bracelets work well)
Place the glow stick in the balloon
Inflate and knot the balloon
Position the knot at the top
Draw a face on the balloon
Drape the cheesecloth over the balloon
Cut a small hole and push the knot through
Secure with a string and hang in the trees
These look so cool blowing in the wind

The second is a treat!

Candycorn Marshmallows

All you need is
Marshmallows
Lollipop sticks
Yellow Chocolate
Orange Chocolate

Cut the marshmallows into triangles
Insert a lollipop stick
Dip in the Yellow Chocolate
Let dry

Dip in the Orange Chocolate
Let dry

And there you have it!
Candycorn on a stick!

Halloween Lunch Box Notes

I am a big fan of lunch box notes!
I imagine the smile on my daughters face
when she opens here lunch and gets
a sweet note from mom.
Ok so I will stop day dreaming....
I know she is probably a little tired
of getting the same ol' same ol' notes
each week.
So, I was so excited to find these

Ghouls Night In

This past weekend I hosted a
Ghouls Night In Pokeno Party!

We enjoyed a night with tricks
and plenty of treats...
and NO kids anywhere!
Aw...love girls nights!

Here are the details from the party!
My inspiration definitely came from
Party printables found here!
Kim has 2 Fabulous styles to choose from and
they are both great!
I started with a few accents
to set the mood....

Boot tag read:
You say "Witch" like that's a bad thing...
Love it!

Moving on to the drinks...
at the Boo Doo Lounge!

Sangria Margaritas
Purple Rock Candy Cocktail Stirrer
and drink markers
Accented with a Tomkat Printable.

I was looking for a coffin to serve the drinks in but,
can you believe I couldn't find a small one!!!
I decided to make my own out of black paper.
Tutorial to come soon!

Tag for the coffin read:
"Dying for a Drink"
And I was!
The dessert table was accented with
lots of black and purple!

Cake Pops Stand!
My favorite accent!
My wonderful mom found this
pumpkin stand at Cracker Barrel
and I thought it would make a perfect
dessert display!

More sweets from the table...

Hope you can host your own "Ghouls" Night Out too!
Happy Haunting!
