Thanks for the RAKs, Part 3

Happy Saturday everyone! I'm so sorry that I flaked out again, and was MIA. A lot has been going on with me. A few of my close friends know what's been going on, and now that things are stable, I can share it with all of you. We almost lost my dad at the beginning of December, but he's doing a lot better now and is on the road to recovery. I've been sick since this past Tuesday, I guess as a result of finally "relaxing". AND because I have Menier's Disease, my vertigo has been acting up again. Thanks for staying with me and being such loyal followers! I really appreciate you! Now, on to Part 3 of my RAKs ...

This beautiful RAK is from Liann of Creating with Aloha. She made this double pocket bag and used this super cute digi image to decorate it! You did a great coloring job Liann! Check out the awesome tag she made, and all the goodies she loaded into my bag! AND, I love that stamp! Thanks Liann! If you haven't been to Liann's blog, yet, go check her out!

This gorgeous RAK is from 1luvnmama. Thank you so much Girl! If you haven't checked out Mama's blog yet, what are you waiting for? She does amazing work and I have been blessed to receive one of her fab creations! When are we gonna get together, Mama?

This next awesome RAK is from my DF Shirley, of Stampin for the Fun of It. Shirley is another local blogger who does some amazing work. Head on over to her blog if you haven't yet done so! I love the bling and the gorgeous notebook you sent! I used this notebook to take notes at my dad's doctors visits and it always brought a smile to my face when I closed the cover. Thanks so much Shirley!

This fabulously sweet RAK is from my special GF Kris, of K-Lusive Kreations. She sent me a whole bunch of Christmas goodies, and this beautiful card!

Check out the personalized notepad above ... she stamped every page w/my name! How awesome is that?!? Thanks Girl! Finally, check out this beautiful thank you card Kris made for me. Her copic coloring skills are off the hook! Like all the wonderfully creative ladies above, Kris is a fantastic card maker and paper crafter. I'm sure you all have visited her blog, but in case you haven't, GO NOW!

Well, friends, thanks for visiting and for all your sweet comments. I'm very grateful that you all have stayed with me during my absences. Until next time, take care of yourselves and be safe. Aloha ...

This next cutie patootie of a card is from another sweetie, Rita, of Rita's Little Corner! How cute are these skating penguins??? Thank you Rita! I love it!

This gorgeous card is from none other than Shirley C.! The card came all the way from the U.K. and it was stuffed with stamped images! Thank you so much Shirley! You are such a sweetheart!

This next RAK comes from my DF Kim, of Kimbee's Creations. Thanks for this beautiful card and awesome RAK Kim!

Do you see TGF Sassy Suzi stamp in my RAK?

Yes you do! Kim is the designer of Miss Suzi and she graciously sent me her stamp for Christmas! This stamp will always hold a special place in my heart Kim! Thank you so much!

Thanks for the RAKs, Part 1

Hey everybody! Hope you are all enjoying your weekend thus far! I'd like to take this time to thank all the ladies who so graciously sent me holiday RAKs. I'll be sharing them in the next couple of posts, so I hope you'll stay with me and enjoy the RAKs as much as I did!

Before I start sharing, I wanted to show this card I made for a swap at Teri's holiday party in early December. I still had "creators" block from the craft fair, and this was the only thing I could come up with. I wish I could have made it cuter.

This totally stuffed box is from Joy and Tae! Thank you so much you guys!

This next RAK is from Michelle and Amara! Thanks for your thoughtfulness! And look at the precious card Amara made for me!

Thanks again girls! I really love my gifts! Stay tuned for Part 2 ...

Oh my goodness! Can you believe it's already December? Wow, where did this year go? Before I post my latest creations, I need to post some very special RAKs that I've received over the past several months.

RAKs!

Hi all! I just wanted to share these super cute RAKs I recently received from two super talented Big Island girls. This first one is from Jenny of Hilo. Along with this really cute card came TGF's Hugh stamp! Thank you so much for thinking of me Jenny! I really appreciate it! By the way, the coloring on your card is awesome! Your shading is to die for! I finally started to eat the cookies from your Halloween RAK. OMG - they are so delicious! I may need to take you up on your offer to send me more! LOL!

This next RAK is from Enjoli, also from the Big Island of Hawaii. She is, in my opinion, the Hello Kitty Queen! If you haven't checked out her blog yet, you need to get over there right away! She makes the cutest things! Thanks so much for all the goodies, Enjoli! Hopefully the next time you're in town we can all get together for lunch (no crafting necessary)!

Hope you all had a great day today! Thanks for taking the time out from your busy schedules to visit me. Until next time, take care!

Class crashers and a new friend

You've all heard of party crashers, right? Well, this weekend, some friends and I became "class crashers"! Teri had her third 50 Tags Class on Saturday and I found out that our two friends Claudette and Joy D. were her students. Well, I also found out that Jenny from Hilo was gonna be in town. So, I asked Janis if she wanted to stop by Teri's house to hang out with the gang. Well, what I should've done was ask Teri FIRST if we could stop by and hang out ... but I didn't. SORRY TERI! OMG - I'm so rude! Please forgive me!

Anyway, Teri being the sweet gal that she is, said of course we could come and she even said we could all come early to just hang out and talk story. Luckily, Jenny was able to join us too, so we were able to finally meet in person! We ate, talked, laughed, shared crafting tips, ate some more ... you get the idea. It was great fun to be able to get together and bond with other women who have the same interests as you ... even the same "male" problems as you! LOL!

These are the RAKs I received: from Claudette and Joy:

From Jenny (on the left) and the surprise project that Teri planned for us!

These are the 3x3 cards I made for the gals:

Here they are all nicely packaged:

Thanks for letting us crash your class Teri, it was so much fun! I promise I won't do it again! It was great meeting you, Jenny! I don't wanna eat my BIC goodies! Let me know the next time you're in town, k? To Claudette, Joy, and Janis - it's always so much fun to hang out with you crazy gals! BTW, Joy, thanks for the special price! I going be greedy ...

Thanks for visiting and I'll be posting yet another huge RAK I received from a friend I finally got to meet in person on Sunday. Take care and be safe! Aloha ...

You're spoiling me again!

Oh my word! What did I do to deserve such wonderful new friends? My BFF and I have only been blogging since April of this year, and we have "met" so many sweet and talented ladies! Here are some RAKs I received this past Saturday. Check it out:

This next super cute RAK is from my sweet Chalsie! Girl, I didn't know you were so SHY!!! I hope Kyoko and I didn't scare you! LOL! Chalsie made this awesome HK teabag holder AND this unbelieveably cute stamp holder! Inside the stamp holder was the Swiss Pixies "Heidi among the flowers" stamp! What a great surprise! I was gonna buy this stamp and Kyoko told me, "Chalsie said do not buy that stamp!". So I listened and didn't buy it. Awesome job on coloring Miss Megan and cutting out her blouse and shoes! Wowee! Thanks Chals - love you!

This next RAK is from my DF Cami. She made me this beautiful gift bag (in my fav color!) and included some gorgeous flowers and a new MS punch!

She also made me this beautiful card that brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for your kind words, Cami, they really mean alot to me. Love you lots!

As I said earlier, I don't know what I did to deserve all the kindness that these ladies have shown me. I am so very thankful to have you in my life! So, ladies, until we see each other again, please take good care of yourselves and always be safe.

Super duper RAKs!

I'm back! Sorry I've been MIA for a while. But I hope to be sharing some creations with you soon. In the meantime, here are some super cute RAKs I received from some very sweet and talented friends!

This first card is from my DF Marisa. Can you tell she knew my fav color is purple? Heehee! Thanks for thinking of me, Marisa, and for sending all the wonderful goodies! Love you!

This next card is from my DF Chalsie. She and I love Twilight and Edward so much! Check out this awesome card she made for me:

Close up of Edward just for Kyoko! Look, Kyoko, Edward Cullen is staring at you! LOL! Thanks, Chals, for all the goodies that came with this beautiful card and for your friendship!

I'll post more tonight. I'm off to work now. Thank you ladies, for inspiring me to become a better crafter and friend! Love you all!

Stuff I gave away, part 2

I made this card for a friend's belated birthday. I really love this cutie patootie image!

I made this card for a friend who's moving back to the mainland. I thought this image was perfect since this GG is holding an envelope, and I wanted to be sure my friend keeps in touch with me.
She also loves TWILIGHT as much as I do, so I made her an Edward post it note holder/frame.

I really might have to make one for myself! That's it for now. Thanks for visiting and until next time, take care of yourselves, be safe out there and have a wonderful 4th of July! Aloha ...

RAKs Part 1

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! It was a beautiful one here in Hawaii - the tradewinds are finally back! Woohoo!

I'll be posting some things I made today, but first I'd like to share some RAKs that I recently received. This first RAK was given to me by my nameless friend. She knows that I don't have a whole lotta ribbon, so she gave me four huge rolls! Thank you friend! You always know just what to give me! LOVE IT!!!

I received this next RAK from my GF Michelle! She made the Sizzix french fry box and instead of filling them with edible goodies, she stuffed it with a whole lot of brads! Check them out ...

She sure stuffed a lot of brads in that french fry box! Thanks Michelle, LOVE IT!!!
