Kahala Mall is having a sidewalk sale this weekend (July 10-12) and Pineapple Cove will be having some awesome specials just for you! Check out the flyers below:
ManLe will also be having some really cute make & takes (while supplies last) so come on down and have some fun with us! I'll be at the make & take table helping ManLe out. Hope you're able to stop by and check out this great new craft store in East Honolulu! See you there!
P.S.: For more info and goings on at Pineapple Cove, please check out ManLe's blog! Aloha!

Survey re blogging party
Hi all - quick post tonight. I've been talking to ManLe Hong of Pineapple Cove. She's thinking about hosting a "blogging party" at her store so all of the blogging Island Girls can get together and finally meet one another. She'll provide some refreshments, have name tags printed up (with name & blog), and maybe everyone who comes can bring one card or project for a "show & tell" (not a make & take). If the "party" is a success, she'd like to do it once a month or so, just so all the gals can get together, have some fun, share ideas and talk story. As far as when the party would be, she hasn't set a day & time yet. However, daytime on a Saturday or Sunday might work better for everyone. So here are the survey questions:
1) Are you interested in coming to the Party?
2) If so, what day would you prefer? Saturday or Sunday?
3) Finally, would the morning or afternoon be better for you?
My apologies to the bloggers on the mainland for not being able to join us. However, if you're ever on Oahu, you might be lucky enough to come to one of the parties! Thanks for visiting and taking the time to leave your comments. I truly appreciate each and every one of them! Aloha ...

New local craft store
Good evening everyone! Actually, it's morning, but I haven't gone to sleep yet, so it's still night time to me. For all you blogging peeps in the Aloha State, there is a new craft store on the east side of Oahu! Pineapple Cove is officially open! Located on the upper level of the Kahala Mall, right by the sliding glass doors to get to the theatres, Pineapple Cove is the newest paper craft store on Oahu. I met ManLe Hong, the store's owner and manager. We talked and talked and talked! ManLe is such a sweet and personable young woman! Anyhoo, after talking for a while, I decided to "browse" around the store. Now tell me - who can go to a brand new craft store and not buy anything??? Not me! I bought some paper (not shown), a couple of stamp sets, silver stickles and two packs of Thickers. I can't wait to use the Thickers!
So, for all you local crafting sisters (and you Island visitors as well), please come and check out Pineapple Cove. With the tough economic times that we're living in, we need to support our local businesses. ManLe has been lucky enough to start her own business, doing something she really loves! How many of us can say that? Congratulations, ManLe, on living your dream! Best wishes and much success to you!
