Yesterday marks the end of the D & D. Finally, all our hard work for the past 2 months have paid off. The event went well. =) Finally a big load off my mind when the Grand Lucky Draw is over and the GOH takes his leave. Can feel that I can breathe better.
Time really flies when the actual programme starts. From the co-ordination of the VIPs thru' walkie-talkies when they arrived to the actual programme of the night. Once the speech and awards presentation start, other performance items begin to follow suit. And time just flies. It is important to make sure that one item follows another and each item runs well. Luckily I have a team of good people to help me. Feedback on the D&D has been good and I'm glad. =)
Another major event over. Talked to a wise director after the event at the foyer, and he talked about how he also organised major events one after the other in his past job, and that usually after a major event is over, the people will feel a sense of emptiness and do not know what to do after that. Afterall, they've been hyped up for the past few months and have worked furiously on the project. I do feel that too. Just like how I feel after a major exam, and after graduation.
But now, it's time to pick up the pieces of my life from where I left off - reply the long overdued emails, pay off my credit card bills and add new friends on my MSN. And go for my well-deserved facial soon. =)
Then Mon, it's a new chapter again - with other new stuff to look forward to. =)
