My week

Has been a rainy week cept for only one or two days when it's sunny. Office is really cold man. A sign of winter in Singapore? Haha...cool and humid for the time being.

Met up with J. and ZX yest for drinks at Holland V, got updated abt pple around us. Pretty cool... =)
Haven been there for a long long time, and we were at the strech of roads where there's a lot of ang mos drinking. Dont really like going to places where there's a lot of ang mos. Feel so "out".

I feel a sense of innocence seeing my sec/JC friends, maybe coz i've been too 'polluted' by working people?

I'm sorry, but the movie sucks. It's too plain and really boring, you dont get the excitement that it's a wizard school with all the magical creatures flying around. Maybe coz i read the book and knew what will happen next.

Went to Great World City to catch the show, free tickets again given by some vendors. Yeah to that! =)

First time at GWC, it''s really at an wu-lu place (inaccessible by bus or mrt), a pretty boring shopping center.

But the cinema is cool, damn big, with big ass screen! I felt so "sua gu" that I dont know Sg has such a huge cinema.

If only the movie is good enuff to complement the cinema...

Dining at Swissotel 70th floor

Extremely happy today! Got treated to lunch at Swisshotel 70th floor - the place where u can see the CBD skyline, Marina Bay, even planes and helicopters.

The cute ang moh chef personally talked to everyone, and even gave us complimentary foie gras and salmon!!!!

Dessert was orange crumble that's so so good.

It's really food to die food. =)

Sat's Shopping Spree

Spent alot of $$ on shopping again.

Here's what I bought:
- 2 black tops (gosh they're having a 20% sale)
- 1 white color bag (inspired by some TV dramas)
- 1 pair of heels (sweet stuff)
- 2 Nike stuff ( coz they're having a sale at Taka, and my fren was telling me, we shd get gym wear coz it's cheap now)

Total spending: Shall not say it here, but I do feel the pinch. Never mind, bonus is coming.... =)

Went to Alliance to watch this hiliarious French movie called The Visitors:

Quite refreshing to be watching a non-Hollywood movie, tho. i dont understand French, luckily got Eng subtitles. They can use easy props to shoot hilarious scenes. Go watch if you can, coz i think the French Film Festival is ending soon.

Sick on a public holiday

How pitiful is that? Public holiday, and you have to stay home and get enuff rest, so that i am healthy enuff to work. Next week will be a busy week at work!

Anyway, my grandma came for a visit at my house just now. Haven seen her for a long long time. Like months. I guess I should pop by her house more often. Just been too caught up with work recently. Always a good execuse for a lot of things.

Met up with D. last week, and he showed me his travel pics (eg: Taiwan, San Frans, Cambodia) on his cool power-book. Quite an eye-opener seeing the pics, esp. the one taken at the world apple conference at SF. Totally COOL for a bunch of MAC users to be using their MACs in public. Ooo...no regrets for getting a MAC!!! =)
