Busy again

Been so busy this week. And its only Tue. Spent my last weekend doing a video clip, some Bollywood clip for some speech. I kept on listening to an indian mp3 for so long, the song is stuck in my head and i can sing it!!!!! Damn!

Today showed the big boss, he said go do another one on another movie! Gotta go rush and buy the moive and start watching! siao man...editing shd not take too long..it's the watching! 2 hrs movie..oh well..i think i might as well enjoyy it.

Cant wait for Friday to end...I'm really filled to the brim with work...HELP!!!

Of cars and guys

Of course, these 2 go hand in hand. A dashing guy driving a cool car would definitely make him more appealing. But most of the time, this is not the case. A good-looking guy cannot afford a luxury car, an old man might be driving a sports car that's too young for him.

I love being sent home on cars, esp. by guys. Call me materialistic, but well, it does show good of that guy. Even tho. it's just friends, it does show that the guy is a real gentleman. Yest, got sent back on my fren's fabulous AUDI, he doenst live near me, and happens to miss the exit so he ends up going to the west.

But of course, i dont blame some guys who dont do that. Esp. if that person is not close to you. I've 2 extreme colleagues. One loves to send me back to my house, and the other i have to beg him to drop me off at Jurong, which is on his way home, and poor me has to take a 5 min bus ride back home. Cant juz do a few turns to drop me home.

But most of the time, I dont rely on people to send me home, being independent and take the bus or mrt has been a norm to me already.

Anyway, feeling very "Jay-Chou" nowadays.

Busy

Been so busy at work recently. Will be busy till Nov Dec and Jan!!! I dont get any holidays or am even planning for one, coz i know my schedule is so full, but maybe can squeeze short trips. Dont work on Sat. and Sun.

Anyway, I realise i;ve been spending alot of $$ during Fri, and weekends. Hardly spend during weekdays coz working. But when not working, can spend alot. Kinda like taking revenge for not being able to spend?

Let's stocktake:

-Canon Digital Camera
-Cosmestics
-New tops
-People's birthdays (wonder why so many birthdays this month)

All this is really burning a hole in my pocket...MUST SAVE SAVE SAVE..like the stupid Shop and Save commerical, 省，省，省！

Tuesdays with Morrie

Watching "Tuesdays with Morrie" on the Hallmark Channel on a Tuesday is pretty cool. Rem that I was so touched while reading the book, and then kinda forgot what's in the book. Luckily today i had a chance to catch the movie again.

Been wanting to read the book "5 people u meet in heaven" but haven got the chance to. Hmm....time, how much do u have, and how much can u spare?

To learn how to die, to learn how to live.

Subjects on love, death, regrets, dependencies, shame.

I wanna catch the show "Hawking" too...this abt this great scientist whom, despite his disabilities, try to make his contributions and theories to science.

tho. it's very funnie in english, but it kinda capture the essence of this ci. Good for pple like me who wanna understand the meaning but it's too cheem, so at least can guess the meaning from the eng version.

Mooncakes Mooncakes

Went to Chinatown with my parents coz they wanna get some mooncakes, there's supposedly this really famous store that everyone buys from. Super hot day!

Got lotsa mooncakes from my relatives, but well, there's no more cravings for them, but i still like the yam mooncake alot. Haven get to eat it this year.

The Mid Autumn Festival is ard the corner again, in fact, it's this sunday! Cool, it's the time when the moon is gonna be at its fullest again.

Reminds me of something that I was taught during chinese literature.

This used to have really special meanings to me last time, but well, it doesnt now. Times have changed, but well, i only rem. these verses during MAF.

This OAC fren SMS and asked if we wanna go back to our JC for the MAF celebrations, and i really cant bear to go back again, coz i feel so damn old. Feel the generation gaps with the juniors, cant do cheers anymore w/o getting embarrassed, cant do mass dance anymore, but i can still sing. oh well....

today is super sway, the bus i was on langa with a cab that tried to beat the red light at a turn, so scary. end up gotta get off the bus and walk. and my fav. hair clip broke! it's been with me for almost 2 years. but i had a good lunch with my colleagues at c0ffee club.
