Homestead Park - Monkey Sighting??

On the trail at Homestead Park, something stopped us in our tracks, there it was, quitely sitting on a tree branch. Brandy & I think its a small monkey. What do you think it could be, a baby sasquatch perhaps? Hope we are wrong about it being sasquatch. We continued the hike down the trail, but on the return hike, it was still there in the exact same spot. It still hadn't flintched a muscle.

Safely past the creature, I was still a "Wirey Cookie" and insisted that we go to the soccer field so I run around and use my bionic-spring-loaded knees. Thank goodness Brandy is such a good sport.

  1. WOW! A monkey?! How cool! I love monkeys. I have several "toy" monkeys. I play "monkey" everyday!! (Playing monkey = playing keep-away from the humans with my monkey.) I sure would like to sniff a real monkey...

    Boy, you ARE spring-loaded!!

  2. Holly mackerel Suki, you have an incredibly good sport in Brandy. I can't believe you saw a monkey in the park. I, of course live with a monkey. His name is Sluggo.

Are you doing any agility coming up? Your knees sure look good to go.

  5. Hi Noodle Buddy!

I only use my spring-loaded knees on Brandy. When I meet small dogs, if I really like them, then we play chase, no face boxing.

I bet your super cute when you play "monkey".

Mom doesn't think this monkey is real, just part of the tree, but I beg to differ.

    Hugs,
    Suki

  6. Hi Wilma,

Brandy is the best! If Mom has to go out of town, I get to stay at Brandy's house. I call it going to Camp. It even has a Camp Director, Brandy's Dad.

    Sluggo being a monkey, hehee!

    Hugs,
    Suki

  7. Hi Miss Gracie,

I agree, everyone needs a friend like Brandy.

Agility hasn't started yet, fiddle-dee, what's up with that? I'm going to have to start pestering Mom about that. Thanks for asking.

    Hugs,
    Suki

  9. Holy SPAM!

Brandy has mouth meat just like the crazy Labrador brothers! My human says it must be a retriever thing.

  10. Hi Pug,

It must be a retriever/pug thing, we Know, they have goodies in their mouths, they just won't share... but I'm determined.

    Suki
