Shortness

Rise and shine... bright and early while it's still cool for an outside adventure. Last week's heat index was 107 which made me really appreciate the Summer hibernation process.

Today, I really wanted to go swimming at the human pool for knee physical therapy. My Mom goes swimming almost every day and never takes me. What the heck?

Since I run faster than the speed of light, along with my bionic-ness, pretty darn sure I can swim fast too. It would be fun to challenge Mom to a swim race, like Olympic Gold Medalists Mark Spitz or Michael Phelps. Definitely would leave her in my wake.

Yes! Almost there... the blue, clear water was just on the other side of the fence. But there was one MAJOR problem! Shortness!! Not able to reach the door knob. Ugh! Where's Brandy?... She's so much taller, surely she could reach the door handle.

Plan B... Maybe there's a hole in the fence? Fiddle-dee-dee, no luck. Hmmm, plan C? Will have to put my thinking cap on for this one.

  1. Suki, I think you are right. I might of been able to reach the knob. But I have heard my mom said sorry girl you don't have the key. So I guess we also need something called a "key". Sorry I wasn't there to help you get in there. I know you would blow your mom away. You could swim laps around her. I know what is up that fence. I have scouted all around and you are right no way to get in. But my mom tells me when she goes after she takes me sometimes on my adventure with water that it is her turn. So I guess our humans like the water too. But sure wish you could get in there for water therapy so you would heal faster so we can get back to our adventures together. Yes was nice this morning. I got my human to take me for a long walk. Boy was it nice. Hadn't had one for a long time. I will put my thinking cap on for your plan C. Keep me posted if you come up with something. Maybe if we just stand over there with our cute faces and give them that look someone would let us in. Keep up therapy and see you soon. Brandy

  2. Brandy,
    A "key"?
When Mom is at the pool, will go sleuthing thru her purse for a key. Wait, she will be swimming, key needed to get into pool... it won't be in her purse. Duh.

Shhhhh...don't tell... Super-Secret-Sleuthing Mission, check the purse while she's sleeping tonight. Under the cover of darkness. May I use Camp Director's special night vision goggles?

Our cuteness would definitely get us in, especially if we used our big brown eyes and bat our eye lashes.

  3. Suki we have a problem. I think the big sign posted there with the rules says no four legged friends allowed. Is that what you read too??? What is up with that. Austin is a very happening City that allows us to go to several places. We will have to check into it, but I don't think we can.
I will sneak out camp directors night goggles for you so we can go check it out and see if that is what it says. A night mission. No one would know we were there.

Brandy and Suki I bet if you talked real sweet to the camp director he would help you since he loves you two so much.. Maybe if you went under the cover of darkness no one would notice. hmmmmmmmmm that's a thought....

  5. Suki,
Sounds like you and Brandy have the right idea about night sleuthing. Not sure if it will do any good but you will have "FUN" trying. Maybe your moms and camp director will take you to one of those swimming holes soon.
Be a good girl and do your physical therapy every day and it won't be long until you'll be back to your adventures with Brandy. Woo Hoo!
    Take care.
    Your Brother,
