HAPPY VALENTINES DAY....

Today 21 years ago, my darling hubby Nigel proposed to me & I of course, said yes. It was a wonderful day, he took me out for a meal to a small country pub called the 'White Cock'. After we went for a drive, finishing up looking over a gasometer??!! Really? yeah we did lol....he then sat staring out of the window, no idea what to do or say. Then he just said...."do you wanna be my wife" I looked at him burst out laughing & said yes. The rest as they say is history.

So this DT card for Try Stampin' on Tuesday, has been made for Nige,
just to remind him I love him  xx

Slinky Tarts!

Yay after a few months out The Stamping Chef is back & re-vamped, with a new name & everything!! Slinky Tarts is the new name & Smexy is certainly Tamara's thing! make sure you pop over to the Slinky Tarts shop & check out what fab new images Tamara has drawn. You will also notice a few older smexy ones added to the new store! 

For the time being we are making an inspirational post every Friday, over on the Slinky Tarts challenge blog. Just until we start up with our challenges again. For this weeks inspiration I decided to use 'Cat Sixx' she is an older image, who I have had printed out for ages. I have coloured her up, kept her kinda CAS for me, just adding the 18. I made this card with our Danni in mind, she will be 18 in March!!!

The image is so her, except Danni has red hair, lol!

Oh & Danni hasn't got any tattoos....YET!!!

Birthday Balloons!

Oops I'm a bit late with my post today. So confused with what day is which at the moment, with Nige still being off work. Thank you for all you messages, texts & emails wishing him well...I agree hurry up & get well you're interfering with my crafty time! LOL!!

I don't mean it he's been a babe, playing on his egg-box & hasn't asked for any help over the last week. So fingers crossed he is improving....big problem is he won't just sit & rest now. At this moment as I type this he is upstairs helping Katie put up a double bed in Danni's room (its what she wanted for Christmas...just Santa's a bit late lol) I said to leave it until Danni's boyfriend got here later, but nope he wants to do it. So tomorrow he is gonna be moaning about his back again!! arghhhh bl**dy men!!!!

Anyhoos I'm here to share my Inky Inspiration creation with you today!

Decided to use Jenson (my Ecraft) to cut out the balloons. Feel really guilty, I don't use him as much as I should do! Maybees a slightly late New Year resolution...use Jenson at least once a week!!

For My Roomie!

Just a quick post from me today & I'm hoping Mr B is playing along & posts for me. I am having to sort my post out on Friday night as we are off out early to help out at Gentleshaw. It's going to be a bit sad this weekend as one of the Capuchin monkeys Toto sadly died on Wednesday night so everyone is feeling upset. 'Makey Bakey Mouses!'

Brrrrr its gone so cold over the last few weeks, I don't mind the cold & snow just hate the rain....makes my poor bones so achy!  The one thing I do love about Autumn tho, is the changing of the leaves.
