Brayering

This is combination of three companies:

**Elephants-TAC
**The wording- Hero Arts
**The tree branch, reeds, pebbles, birds- Stampscapes

I used a circle punch to create a sun mask and a scrap piece of card the create an horizon. I then brayered repeatedly, building the colour up gradually from the sky edge. When the sky component was done, I turned it all around and repeated the process to get the land base.

I think I brayered with Ranger Adirondack Lettuce and all stamping was done with India Ink (black).

I Cuttlebugged a piece of blue card and then cut a rough rectangular shape from the middle. I turned the edges back over on themselves, tore them and distressed them with Ranger Adirondack Denim.

Didn't mind how this one turned out!

Cooking Anyone?

Good morning people,

Today, I have my last task for my Secret Sister...for those who are involved with this ....I have not done them in order! This last task was to make a shaped card. Seeing as I seem to be in the kitchen more times than not this last fortnight, I thought I would make a simple little apron! Very symbolic for me! I am feeling somewhat the domestic slave not the domestic goddess right about now. Mind, this is my own doing, as I want everything just so before I fly out on Wednesday!

The paper used is from Kaiser and the stamp is from TAC.

Enjoy.

Tassie Bridge in Green

Good afternoon all,

Well, I have finished having my wee melt down! It was fair giving me the willies using up bulk time looking for a stamp, so I downed tools and rearranged my somewhat vast stamp collection. Not sure how long this new system will last, but it sure has to be better than the last one....except, I have run out of storage space...but that is another drama to deal with. I probably would like things a whole lot better if I would just put things back where they belong once in a while!

So now you know where I have been the last couple of days! I have been immersed in rubber...just not using it!

Ok...on to the card....I seem to be entrenched in simple mode, but am taking it where it leads me and not stressing. This is another Tassie bridge, this time stamped on an alcohol ink background. It sure does give off a totally different mood to the Pearl Ex one done in blues!

Booked for camp at the end of the May today. I will stay longer and wander around to the wholesalers I deal with as well. I feel quite good about it all now it is set in motion!
