Fabulous Fifties

Still doing paper piecing...lol....when on a roll, keep going!

This is a great, "old" set I have hanging around. Thought I might condition the stamps by using them. Novel idea, hey!

Sure I know a few old farts I can offload this one on.

You're My Cup of Tea

Holy Hector! The challenge to make this card was great...but I got there in the end.

I do believe this is going to suit the person it is intended for....well...one hopes so! I do not know the manufacturer of this stamp, but it is off a full plate of stamps with the tea theme.

Paper Piecing Cake

Good morning ladies,

Here is a little paper piecing number made this morning with young Granny Grace. Grace had a challenge to do for her secret sister here in Canberra, so I played along too! (Not so secret now, eh?)

The challenge was confectionery with the main colour being brown. Seeing as Grace is just a wee confectionery deprived (stamp wise....not stamp session wise)......we went looking and found a very lonely cake stamp.....So, here tis!!! A delicious chokky cake...sort of! We DID use lots of brown though.

Stamps: Creative Living (Cake)...Yeah I know..WHO are they?? Stampa Rosa wording Cardstock: Bazzill Other: Kaiser Papers, Kindy Glitz,Liquid Pearls, Cuttlebug and Nestabilities, Brown Grosgrain, DSFT, Chalk Pencils and Odourless Mineral Solvent

Jennie Case

Evening all,
I have completed one of my tasks set by the Sassy Stampers Blog Group I am on.

I had to case a card from another in our group. After much deliberation, I chose to case Jennie's Pink Digital Girl which she posted on Thursday 12th March

Jennie does such lovely work and I was totally inspired by this card even though I do not have any MFT stamps myself. The paper piecing was lovely as was the simple but very effective embellishments!

This Whipper Snapper stamp I recently made into an acetate card, looks totally different here paper pieced!

I do hope you like it Jennie!
