Singapore 100m Sprint! :)

There we go :) The Merlion Island early in the morning. Well, i wasn't feeling that well on Monday- guess it's because my body knew i was heading to a stressful country where people run for their lives in the immigration. I got a culture shock. I never been to Singapore by bus, normally was by car. -_-" And there came the aunties and uncles ran for their lives just to get their passports verified. Omg. O_O Back in my mind, i was thinking was it the impact of the casino-$$?

grandma, cousin, aunts and uncle boarded on the same bus as us but different destinations in Sentosa.

Anyway, we bought an Underwater World package for that day. It was quite an disappointing one if we were to compare with Malaysia's. Nevertheless, the species were unique but it wasn't as huge as ours. When we asked "Do you have penguins here?", guess what the person said? "Miss, Singapore's weather can't accommodate penguins." I was like... "Oh I see..." -_-" I love the conveyor belt tunnel in Sg's Underwater. As for the types of fish, it's more or less the same. I still feel the service attitude needs to improve a lil :)
the anemone is sleeping comfortably. Very warm to see him sleeping like this :)
hehe! ever seen a cobra in the water? :)
obor-obor! :D
this is called the Rainbow Crab. Don't think it's edible =D
Then, we headed to Vivo City for shopping and makan. Hmmm... i love this Food Republic design :) Very bold and asian'ish! :)

Towards the evening, we headed back to Sentosa, to snap photos :)
This candy street is very pretty :) Sugar-rush! ^^
Candies!
Gigantic & majestic entrance of Universal Studio of Singapore ;)Universal Planet :D
Camwhore time :D

New profile pic? :)

All in all, i think it's a great family outing :) I feel, it doesn't really matter the place that we go, it matters when it's just with family members to spend some quality time together :)

Give thanks

amen :)

everyone has a story to tell

I believe everyone of us will definately have our story to tell. Every day makes an episode. It can be a happy ending, it can be a unsatisfactory ending. Nevertheless, we shall never give up in life because i believe everyone of us will be able to create a beautiful ending. Pray to God for a new beginning when we fall; praise God when we lead an ideal and positive life.

At times, one's family background can really influence the way we act and react, the way we perceive thing, we receive and give things. However, i believe it's through understanding that we then receive acceptance on one another. Remember, understanding is much much more important than tolerating. :)

Just wanna share a song to all of you, it's indeed a very motivational song:

I've been working hard so long
Seems like pain has been my only friend
My fragile heart's been done so wrong
I wonder if i'd ever healed again

Oooh just like all the seasons
Never stay the same
All around me i can feel the change

Chorus:
I will break the chain to find me
Happiness will find me
Leave the past behind me, today my life begins
A whole new world is waiting, it's mine for the taking
I know i can make it, today my life begins

Yesterday has come and gone
And i've learnt how to leave it where it is
And i see that i was wrong
For ever doubting i could win

Oooh just like all the season
Never stayed the same
All around me i can feel the change

x Chorus

Life's too short to have regrets
So i'm learning now to leave it in the past, and try to forget
We only have one life to live
So you better make the best of it

x Chorus

No matter what, i will always love my family because they bring me to this world :)

simple

Sometimes, life can fill you abundantly by the blessing of God. It takes such a simple gesture to create a meaningful life. At times, life without expectation gives you a lil bonus of happiness. As simple as it is, as easy as life goes on. Sometimes, while i reflect upon it, i can feel the sense of contentment. As i always do, count the blessings of each day received, optimism will lead a positive life.

As title of today, i name today as a day of simplistic motion. Came back to Kluang to accompany my family. All we did was to get together and have a good meal. I always look forward each time when i am home. This time, grandma was in the picture. Exuberance strikes high :) I always wish to have a proper meal with grandma. Today was indeed a bonus day. An exercise through shopping after meal with family was another simple happiness too. Through seeing new stuff and to shop for necessities and to discuss over it, it's just marvellous.

It's a day that i shall give thanks to God. Simple gestures make life seems much easier. God made my family stronger and stronger each day and make us treasure each other. I am thankful for all the wondrous blessing you have shone on me :) Thank God for my family.

外婆挥挥手,指着我们开心地说“吃了汤圆,你们又长大了啊!”
能在外婆家过冬,真的很开心!
传统的味道,熟悉的香味。
仿佛回到了我们的童年。
她老人家也特别开心!:)

childhood

A child is a blank sheet of paper. As for what a paper can be, it really depends on how it's being painted by the closed ones. Want it to be yellow? Paint it! Want it to be grey? Go ahead! Children are always naive. They have the best hearts, the most innocent kind souls. If only children can remain as who they are even if they grow. Hmmm... well, it's always the sad truth of NO in this world. So, yea, move on!
I miss my childhood. I was having dinner yesterday, and i could still remember how i ate that. I scooped a spoon of sauce to the rice (steam fish sauce to be exact), then i smashed the fish with rice and I ate it. You know what I thought of? My grandma :) She used to feed me like that when i was a toddler. You'll find no bone in that coz she had extracted them out. Though it's just fish, rice and the sauce, it simply tastes delicious because it reminds me spending those moments with my loved ones. Seriously, I hope to have more time for her. The cooking flavour is always there, it never run away, it's the human that run away :(
Ok. Don't emo. Holiday is about spending more time with family. I should, i seriously should. I don't wanna live a life with regret for not spending enough time for family.

Daddy's Day

Headed back to hometown during last weekend. There's just no other place than being at home. I am a big kid at home though i am a grown up. We're always a child in our parents' eyes. Forever a child, forever a princess or a prince, being pampered and well-fed after taking in too much of outside food. Believe me, parents always know best because they've been through what we're going through now, staying outside and not taking good care of ourselves.

Okay. So, we celebrated a belated Daddy's Day with papa last Saturday. Hmmm. It was a dinner feast. Well, we do dine in at restaurant often, but this time round was with different agenda, it was papa's day! :) Guess what we had for dad? :) A maroon Reebok cap! He loves maroon and he looks handsome on it! Dad always go for jogging, that's why he needs it! :))

Dear daddy, thank you for everything. Words can't describe your unconditional love towards the family and towards me. Your encouragement, your crappy jokes, your teaching are always the greatest and it always serve as a booster for me to grow in various ways! I love you. :)
Dad put on his brand new cap and be the model of the day!

Earth Hour 2010

Spent the Earth Hour 2010 in hometown with my family :) Time flies. No. I should rephrase it. Time evaporates nowadays! =X We had so much fun last year with council members during Earth Hour. We turned off the light. We witnessed the on-and-off of light. We held candles. We rocked the night!
This year, it was slightly peaceful with family. Haha! Can't believe Star Coffeehouse actually celebrated and joined in the team for Earth Hour! :) Was quite happy to see the flyer stand. Hehe. However, they only turned off 3 rows of lights in the restaurant. Ended up with a lil bit of disappointment. Haha! I knew they're running a business here. So, it's ok. 3 rows of lights for 1 hour does make a difference somehow. Good job :)
they distributed candles to each table around 8.20pm.
candlelight dinner. ^^
papa & me!

CNY: Family Menu

Chinese New Year, the utmost important festive season that the whole world of chinese celebrates. *imagine a broader picture of the earth*. Same goes to Malaysia Chinese. Hehe! :) To me, CNY is always a time for reunion. Everyone sits on the round table which symbolizes the union or reunion of family members. CNY is always precious to us, that's when we get to peep on people whom we hardly meet everyday, to sit down updating each other, to eat lots and lots of snacks, to enjoy super yummy good chinese dishes and most importantly, to shoot photos endlessly and to review and laugh together.
We had steamboat feast during CNY eve at paternal grandma's house in JB. :))
First day of CNY
Grandma's home cooked food! =)
Some shots at home before heading to house visit.
Totally have no idea why dad was sooooo random with his tiger pose.
it was totally a big exclaimation mark for me when i shot this.
Haha! :)
the aftermath of dad's pose. O_O
the kiddos. =D
Had yeesang dinner on the 4th day of CNY with my family members. :)
yeesang dinner is always the routine for us.
This year round, CNY is slightly different without the presense of grandpa. We used to shout "Ah Gong! Happy New Year!" Instead, now we headed to kitchen and exclaimed it to grandma who's very busy cooking. It's special for me to go home. I strongly felt the urge of home when I was driving on the day before new year eve. Funny how this feeling was much more stronger than the pasts'.
A quick shot after dinner at restaurant. =)
aunts & uncles.
husband and wife. Haha!
yeesang was indeed a useful prop! =D
i didn't know why it turned out to be a yuuuuuumseeeeng!
grandma and me! :)
Just like what my colleagues discussed, the more you get older, the more you think about is your family members. Right now, they're all my priorities. Family always come first before anything. :)
my family during yeesang dinner :)
the big big us! :)
Always very looking forward in meeting u guys!
errrr... excuse me? =D
i thought that pic of mine as if i am having constipation. -.-
Kinship will always tie us together. It always do. :) Happy New Year to my family members! I hope our kinship will be as round as the dining table. I think Grandpa is smiling in the heaven. :)
Picture of the year: Cousin Gang.
How time flies. =)) Check out the lad and ladies!
played firework after yeesang dinner. Had many many shots of fireworks which we created through handwriting.
Grandma's house is always the best place for us to reminisce our childhood.
the wide field at the backyard was our territory.
It was totally pit dark at night. We used to be very very frightened to walk across the backyard. Now? Nah... just play along!
*LOVE*
Smiley. :)
Aunt insisted to have a nose for it.
Haha! =X
*LOL*!
Not to forget, a collage of our names! :)

Nana appreciates each of your presence *muacks*
