Adventures Of Life

As I woke up this morning I felt the hot wind breeze coming from outside of the house. I never felt too hot during the summer until the moment we moved to an Island. This is our second year of experiencing the ocean breeze during summer but then our bodies could not still adopt it. I feel like I wanted to submerge my body in a tub full of ice. Yes!! Full of ice. Oh well, that is the reality of having a summer season in tropical countries like the Philippines.

 Going to beach or spring is a way to relax and having fun with family is best during this hot season. Last Saturday, we had a nice and relaxing day at the Coral Reef beach resort. The resort was not open to the public and not operational for quite sometime but for us locals we could have the access to go in there to have our beach picnic. It was an awesome day to see a beautiful nature God has created even the day was too hot we could still enjoy the water. The white sand beach was so nice and the water was very cold. I loved that day. I love the places where God created its natural beauty.

Today it is Easter Sunday. I love to hear most people around our neighborhood, regardless the religion, are  talking about going to church.  It has been a while since I haven't gone to church because of some health problems. I really miss coming to church to sing and hear about the gospel of God. 

There are lots of families are gathering on the beach after church. This is the only time where they can enjoy the good weather at the beach after the long holidays. And to some people are now traveling back home from vacation. It is really good to spend time to relax and enjoy the holidays. It is the time where everyone can enjoy the moment having outside their usual place. 

The real essence of the holy week is the remembrance of Jesus Christ's death on the cross to redeem us sinners.  It was done ones and it is being remembered forever by the Christians. Jesus loves us all.  Happy Easter everyone!!!

I could never imagine how my cousin handles herself as she been so busy working but good to hear that she is planning to take her long vacation trip with family this year. It is summer once again and as flight attendant, she never had the chance to take a vacation during this peak season. She will take her one month vacation by November and this time she planned to have it in a new place with family at the beach. As early as now, she is searching for a nice and unique destination for the trip. Sometimes during her long day off she usually traveled to Hawaii or California to visit her friends and relatives.

She deserves a good and nice long break. Last week, she told me that she finally found the right place for their planned vacation. One lies just in front of the lagoon itself and the other is found within the village— in front of the seemingly endless row of fish restaurants. Sunset at El Golfo is a true spectacle of colours and a real experience of Lanzarote´s feeling and afterwoods most people enjoyed. We decided to take our breakfast to beach this morning and enjoy today's' holiday because it is the end of RAMADAN or EID UL-FITR. We grilled fish which we bought from the fishermen who sold fish along the shore after catching it. We enjoyed our day at the beach.
