A sneak peek at what’s coming to the shop!
As you can see, my “Shabby Blossom” is showing up a lot! Here is a closer look at each item.
The “Shabby Blossom” will feature a fabric covered button and attached to the back is an alligator clip as well as a pin back so it can be worn in your hair or on your favorite shirt, sweater, bag, etc…
The pleated zipper pouch to hold all those essentials that get lost in the bottom of your bag! How cute are those owls?!?!
Here is a pleated pouch with a shabby blossom that I made for a friend who is graduating from college.
And last but not least, here are a few bags I embellished with raw edge appliqué , ruffles, and more Shabby Blossoms!
Thanks to the girls at Saving Money and Living Life, Tea Rose Home, Tatertots and Jello, Sugar & Spice, Blue Cricket Design, Fireflies and Jellybeans, Sew Much Ado, and Fingerprints on the fridge for letting me link up!

Going GREEN and staying stylish!
I just completed an order for 9 sets of cloth napkins for a new customer at my etsy shop. She wants to use less paper in her home and switching to cloth napkins is a great place to start! I am really proud of how they turned out! Beautiful and eco-friendly…doesn’t get any better than that! More eco-friendly items (like coffee cozies, reusable snack bags, and market totes) will be added to the shop soon so check back regularly or convo me if you’d like a custom order.
One a side note…I have quite a few scraps left from these napkins so I think I am going to start working on a string quilt for me!
Happy Monday everyone!

A rainbow of colors!
I had 3 custom orders this week…all cloth napkins! One order was for 2 sets, one for 3 sets, and one for 9 sets! That’s 60 napkins total. The two smaller sets are already done and I am working on the larger set today. They are to match the clients Fiestaware and I am loving all the bright and cheery fabrics I get to play with! Fiestaware is very inspiring!

Happy Mother’s Day to Me!!! My new bag!
I have been wanting to make myself a new bag for a while and since Mother’s Day is here I decided to take a break from sewing for other people and whip myself up something pretty! We have been going to Disneyland quite a bit and although we are out of the diaper bag stage, I still need something big to hold everyone’s things! Why is it that the mom always has to hold everything??? Anyhow, a cross-body messenger bag seemed like a good solution. So here it is in all it’s cuteness :) I used the tutorial on All People Quilt but made a few modifications. I made the strap a little longer and patchworky because I am in love with this camera strap but I have no need for it! I also added some extra pockets. There was supposed to be a big pocket along the back of the bag on the outside, but I totally forgot to put it on there…had it all cut and ready to go too. Oh well…maybe I’ll make a matching makeup pouch or something! And last but not least, I added my super cute Sew Chatty label from MommieMadeIt. I am sure to get lots of use out of this bag starting today!!!

My first order from someone I don’t know…YAY!
A few days ago I received an Etsy “convo” from a someone who was looking for cloth napkins for her office. Turns out she works for the CA Association of Food Banks up in the Oakland area. I am so excited to get going on these! Here are the fabrics I chose for her. Hope she likes them as much as I do!
