Anyway, the aural exams baaddd. I think if the testers thought could be broadcasted through a megaphone it'll probably sound like this, "Holy crap. SAVE US. Who the hell is this monster? Must maintain smile. Think of money. Just 5 more minssssss."
Yeah, long and short of it, I failed the singing section.
I apologized to my teacher. Heh, she pumped in so much time for this buttt. Then she said something very surprising.
She said people take around 10 years to reach grade 5. I joined her when I was 16 with a grade 9 and to fly down to a grade 5 so fast is already an amazing feat. :)
Hehe, I HAVE TALENT WOR!
Anyway, she stressed the importance of practise which she said I never had enough. Oh well...
I'll pass my exam next year. :)

Ginny told me about the PA Song Writing contest. So I went and checked it out today.
Bottomline. Don't join it at all.
2. The participant who submitted the song(s), lyrics, composition and/or scores in the Competition agrees with People’s Association and persons or entities authorised by it and People’s Association’s partners / sponsors in the Competition that the copyright and all other intellectual property rights of whatever nature in the song(s), lyrics, composition and/or scores and documentation / material (whether softcopy or otherwise) relating to the said song(s), lyrics, composition and/or scores submitted in the Competition shall pass fully and absolutely to the People’s Association in the event that such submission(s) has been awarded any or any prizes in the competition. In such case(s), the said participant(s), composer and the lyricist making the submission(s) whereby prize(s) has been awarded undertakes to fully and absolutely assign and transfer such right(s), title and interest in and to the copyright of song(s), lyrics, composition and/or scores according to this Agreement to the People’s Association and provide the necessary documents and information in respect of the same.
4. Further, the participant(s) also agrees that in the event that all or any part of the song(s), lyrics, composition and/or scores submitted in the Competition (whether the submission is awarded with any prize or otherwise) has been so sub-licensed, copied, distributed, transmitted, publicly displayed, publicly performed, reproduced, edited, translated, adapted and/or reformatted by People’s Association and/or its authorised associates, partners, affiliated companies and/or necessary sub-licensees to be used in public, privately or otherwise, the participant shall not be entitled to any royalties and/or payments and/or remuneration and/or reimbursement for all or such part of the song(s), lyrics, composition and/or scores so affected.
5. All participant(s) further unconditionally undertakes to take all measures to ensure that the song(s), lyrics, composition and/or scores submitted in the Competition (whether or not any or any prize(s) have been awarded) would not be performed (in any way and/or medium) in the public domain and/or be available in the public domain before the conclusion of the Competition and the presentation of the prizes to the award recipient(s). Thereafter, in the case whereby the intellectual property in the song(s), lyrics, composition and/or scores submitted are passed / assigned / transferred to People’s Association (i.e. where the submission has been selected for any or any prize in the Competition), the participant(s) who made the submission must ensure that the song(s), lyrics, composition and/or scores submitted in the Competition would not be performed (in any way and/or medium) by the participant (and/or his agent, servant and/or representative and/or any other person(s) which the participant has control over) in the public domain and/or be available in the public domain without the written permission of People’s Association.
Hah, respecting the intergrity of artistry= EPIC FAIL.

Here I am, sitting on the sofa waiting for Cy & Xy to come and pick me up.
In a few hours time we'll be cruising along sg and, hopefully, catch a glimpse of the Leonid meteor shower.
I reaaalllyyyy hope to see some today but even if I don't, I'm superbly glad to know that there are people who will actually participate willingly in my very random wants.
I have such wonderful people around me. :)
And and and, the other half surprised me by waiting outside the music sch today :D
Ooohhh yes, wonderful people, wonderful day. Hopefully the stars will dance and the interviewer later will be nice.

I know what I want for my 21st. A few more months to chiong till I get there. =)!
Even so... No matter what happens, I'm already gratified that I have made at least some headway into what I think I want.
It seems to be that everyone's advice to me is the same. It's always, JOANNNEEE SLOW DOWN LAHHH!!!! -.- Am I realllyy going that fast? But I have no timmeee! =(!
But I will try to keep it in mind okay. Walk a little slowly, learn a little slower and just chill. =)
I'm starting to play the electone again instead of the much dreaded piano and I cannot tell you how much happier I am on the electone. It seems so bleh that I have to prove myself proficient on the piano before I can be qualified to teach the electone. But oh well...

They say that as long as we don't stop, it's okay. But when you feel that you are moving at the pace of a snail, it gets super frustrating.
YG asked me to take things easy, to not rush myself but I just can't.
The year's ending already, I don't want to be 21 and still not achieve half of the things I set to do this year.
Electone exams are in less then 3 weeks time. I feel myself shaking already. I don't think I can handle it at all. I just want to shut down and hibernate, leave the world behind and just get it over and done already. Distinction? Nah, if I can pass I am already grateful... and extremely lucky.
Yes, that's how unconfident I am.
I really hope that my life will be like the lyrics of No Boundaries, that I'll find my way somehow, that everything will turn out right again. But I know life isn't like that.

Nov is gonna be a good month. =)
I cleared my grade 5 theory paper on Sat. I seriously felt like I was trapped on some Lilliputian island of doom. All the kids were all taking their grade 1 or grade 2 papers and they seriously all look like Chicken Little.
So cute!
And their parents... LOL! Classic, I tell you. I think I will do the same thing as them next time when I have kids. <3
