Happy Tuesday!!!

Today is "Try me Tuesday" on the My Creative Time blog. So the "try me" is to make a card with dry embossing. I have a ton of embossing folders and I always forget to use them, so I thought this would be the perfect "try me" for me to play along with.

I made a shaped card.

Lots of Sunshine...

Happy Tuesday!

Welcome to day two of sneaks for My Creative Time's April releases. Today's stamp set is called "I'm Here for You Rain or Shine", there are also 3 new dies that are being showcased today, as well.

I made a shaped card with one of the newest sentiments and the MCT cloud dies that you can find here.
5-5
I sized the sun at 3 1/2" wide. You can create a svg for the clouds by cutting them in a black paper, scanning them, and then tracing them, so that they can be cut out. I placed the sun and clouds on my mat, sized them to the size I wanted, and then created a .1400 shadow around them. I took two of the shadows and welded them together at the top, which created the base of the card. I popped the sun up with a bit of foam tape. It's amazing what a little ink on the edges and some foam tape can do to add some interest and dimension.
6-6
Paper: PaperTrey Ink & Coredinations
Sun svg: Treasure Box Designs, Tiny Treasures (Sun)
Cloud Dies: My Creative Time: Fly Away With Me Dies
Face Stamp: Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-1201 The Moodies 1 1/8"

3-D Wednesday with My Creative Time

Happy Wednesday!

Today is 3-d Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog.
I made this cute peep's treat basket.
3-3
I filled it with my favorite Reese's Pieces Eggs. Yum!
  IMG_8341-1
I sized the basket to 7.6" wide, that makes the basket 2.75" x 5.5" tall and the bunny 4" tall. I placed a piece of clear acetate between the bunny and the bag, to create a window and so that the eggs wouldn't fall out.
2-2
Paper: Core'dinations & My Minds Eye
Clear Acetate: Office Depot
Peep Basket Svg: Treasure Box Designs
Banner Die: My Creative Time, Chocolate Greetings Stamp Set
Sentiment: My Creative Time, To My Best Peep Stamp Set

Cutest Pumpkin!

Happy Monday

How was your weekend? Mine was hot and busy. The weather here in southern California as been crazy hot the last month or so. I am so ready for the cooler fall weather. While I was hiding inside, in the air conditioning, I was able to get some cleaning and organizing done. I also was able to work on some projects for my blog.

I found some cute 6 x 6 Halloween paper at Mike's a couple weeks ago. I love using the smaller patterns for cards.

Angelica's Farewell Blog Hop

Happy Sunday!!!!

Good morning, and welcome to Angelica's Fond Farewell Blog Hop. Angelica Suarez has served as the Design Team/Marketing coordinator for Peachy Keen Stamps, for the past three years, and as many of you may have read from her post here a few days ago, she has made the difficult decision to leave her position at Peachy Keen Stamps for a new and exciting opportunity in the printing industry, which is near and dear to her heart. It's a bittersweet celebration for us, as we are sad to see her go, but we know that she will be a tremendous success in this new venture, and we couldn't be happier for her.

It is for this reason that those of us who have had been blessed to work with Angelica have come together to bid her a fond farewell and share some special creations that we have made to let her know how much she means to us, how much we have enjoyed working with her, how much we are going to miss her and that we wish her all the best.

We are thrilled that you could join us for this special event, so grab a cup of coffee or your favorite treat, sit back, relax, and enjoy the hop!

If you arrived here from Raven's blog, you are hopping along in just the right order, but if you started here, then you will want to go back to the beginning to the Peachy Keen Stamps blog, because you're not going to want to miss one single crafty creation.

I made this card for Angelica.
The base of the card is from the Artiste Circut cart, it is the page of an album that I converted into a card. It's sized to a A2 size card. The flower is an svg file from Treasure Box Designs, sized at 3.25"wide. The Sentiment is from My Creative Time's stamp set called, Follow Your Dreams. The flowers face is from PKS's face set called, PK-487 In Stitches. The papers are form PaperTrey Ink, Core'dindations, and My Minds Eye.

Give-away!
Peachy Keen Stamps will be giving away 4 -$20 gift certificates. The winners will be chosen at random, so make sure you leave a comment on each blog, for the most chances to win! The winners will be announced on Tuesday (9-11-12) on the PKS blog.

Your next stop on the hop is Melissa.

Thanks for hopping with us today, I hope you have a wonderful day!
