"Day With Dad" - Freebie!

Happy Father's Day! How are you celebrating? We spent Friday/Saturday camping and just got back. Tomorrow is church and sharing the boys' sweet homemade gifts for daddy.

One of the things I'm doing is giving away this kit just for you. It's a kit I made a while back for a speed scrap, but never added it to my store, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to give it away. :)

"Egg Hunt" - plus an Easter gift for you

I've got a cute little Easter kit to share with you today. We had an indoor egg hunt with some friends from church yesterday and are crossing our fingers that we can do an outdoor one this weekend...but after the Palm Sunday snow last week followed by rain, I'm not going to hold my breath!

So...I set out with a goal of making a kit that was decidedly Easter-y, but without any pink or purple so I could easily scrap my two hooligans. And ya know what? Guess what color one of them ended up with for his new shirt? Yep, pink. A hot pink polo. With a pink and lavender newsboy hat to match. Good grief! Oh well, they'll look ultra cute and I've got some pics from last Easter that I still haven't dealt with, so I suppose I'll dig those up! In the meantime, here's a look at "Egg Hunt". "Proud As A Peacock" - New Scrappy Kat kit and a QP Freebie for You

Check out the latest kit from The Scrappy Kat! You may remember, for her Designer Chat a few weeks ago she gave away a custom kit as a prize. The winner requested a peacock-themed kit and I'm LOVING how it turned out! If you have a blue-eyed kid in your life, it's a must-have. These colors really make 'em pop. I had a hard time deciding what picture to choose to work with first. :)

Here's a look at the first layout I made with it. I'm loving how well the browns and blues are working with this outdoor pic and like I said, it really brings out the blue eyes:

"Happy" - Mini Kit Freebie

Yep, two blog posts in one day. ;) And if that weren't enough, I actually have a little mini kit freebie for you! It's been so long - try not to faint!

Happy Birthday STS! Freebie cluster for you!

It's birthday time at Stuff to Scrap! Can you believe it's been three years?! I feel pretty lucky to have gotten to know all the great gals here at STS right after I started scrapping a few years ago. This past weekend, I got to meet several of them AND had a weekend away from the kiddos where I actually got some scrapping done! :) Woohoo!

We've got some great things planned for you all month long, so be sure to block out lots of scrapping time this month. I've been going through scrap-withdrawl the past couple months as real life got in the way, so I'm looking forward to ditching the boys with the hubby and getting in on some of these events...hope he doesn't keep up with this blog and read that, lol!

It's that time again - Build-A-Kits over at STS! :) I've created a fun "gamer" kit. Whether you play pen-and-paper or live-action (LARP), if you've got pictures of your RPG's, this kit's for you. From Dungeons and Dragons, to Serenity and Munchkin, "Roll a D20" is great for your game nights or convention trips. I know mine's going to get used for some GenCon pictures I have never gotten around to scrapping because I didn't have just the right kit!

Sunny Daffodils On Sunny Days

Well, we just had our first truly sunny day in a while and we spent it playing at the park. That means I'm totally exhausted and this is going to be short, LOL! Daffodils have been blooming all over our neighborhood, so I was super-excited about this month's blog train even though I knew my time to participate was going to be seriously limited. :-P Here's what I did manage to get finished. Well, today is my son's third birthday and we just had an awesome knight-themed birthday party over the weekend. But aside from anything medieval, right now one of his biggest interests is in BUGS! I figured there were at least a few of you out there who can relate to having a little entomologist in the house, so I decided to create a cute little bug-themed kit called "Going Buggy" just in time for all the spring creepy-crawlies to come out. :)
