So today I have some bad but good news. For those of you who have been following my crazy life. I am making some important choices and alterations in my life. So this will be my last post with the Southern Girls. They are quite a bunch of wonderful women. I really love having friends all over the world as we all live such different lives. I really love all the advice I get for my crazy two year old and I just love knowing women that love doing the same thing I do.

They will be having a Design Team Call next month!!! The term is 6 months so get ready they have tons of fun sponsors and challenges ahead!

So here is my last post for the

our theme this week is

"So Distressing"

So for my card I used a Kenny K image (Super Mom). I swear that is me (I just don't wear an apron, and I don't wear high heels anymore either). Having a child has definitely changed my life in a complete 180 so I love this image. I wanted to brighten it up as Spring is fast approaching. I used a new pad from Crate  Paper and some flowers from a Prima tin bundled by a pink flower brad.

I colored the image with copics and used some ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used a $1 sentiment stamp from Michael's dollar bin and hand cut it out to look like a banner. I also used liquid pearls to add a pearl to her earring.... Pearls are the next best thing to diamonds! I really hope you like the card and remember you have two weeks to play!

The second challenge of the day would be

Our colors this challenge are by Sabrina

lilac, blue, kraft, white, plus handmade paper charms

First Post with Southern Girls

Good morning/ evening/ afternoon.
I hope everyone is having a better week then me. I need a great weekend to make up for the last two weeks of hell I have been living! I don't think a week at a spa can make up for what I have been going through. I am tired an worn out. My daughter, my computers, my fiance, my dog, and my health are going to put me in the grave before I even turn 30.
With that all being said onto today's challenges.

This is my first post with Southern Girls!!!! I am excited to be a part of this team. This team is extremely talented especially with the variety of creativity they all show.

For today's challenge, we want to see you create a project using this fantastic bingo board that our very own Lou has created.

The Australia and NZ Sponsor for this challenge is.........
And the International Sponsor is............

I went all out actually and did two lines versus one.

I love using flocking on fuzzy stuff.

You can see my glitter and glossy accents.

Sorry this last shot I do not know what the heck happened and why it looks so weird.
Well this is a gate folded card using an owl image from The Paper Shelter. My papers are from MME. I sponged edges in walnut ink, and did some embossing. I added a bling circle, white flock, copic markers, glossy accents, spellbinder dies, and ribbon from last months RRR ribbon club.

Please stop by and see what what else the Design Team has created
