Halloween - Pebbles - Too Cute to Spook

Hello everyone.  I have a lot going on that I can't get into right now, but I wanted to do a quick post about this Halloween Layout I made.  Like I said in my previous post, I really love the new DCWV Halloween stack and on the back they had a great page idea that I liked.  So I used it as inspiration and changed it up to work with my photos.  Since my little girl is such a cutie, I knew that I wanted an equally cute paper doll to match, so I created a Pebbles paper doll.  Next to her I added a cute little pumpkin from Doodlecharms with some googlie eyes. My friend Elizabeth had these perfect sticker letters, so I decided to punch some circles (some of different sizes) to create my title.  I also used some cotton to create a web from the title to add the dangling spider.

Here's the cute doll which I created to perfectly match my cutie with an adorable pumpkin and spider overhead...

I doodled on the dress to make it match hers!

A bit closer look at the title...

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
My Craft Spot -  Too Cute to Spook
You Had Me @ Craft...

Oh, and I almost forgot, in looking at the new challenge over at Frosted Designs, I saw that I was chosen as the Winner for their previous "Fussy Cutting" Challenge which I entered my "Meet the Flinstones" layout, so that was a nice bit of much needed good news.

I hope you enjoyed the layout and please leave a comment - I love to read those!

Little Princess/You & Me Layouts

Hello all!  I'm in the process of filling in the empty pages of my daughter's 1st year - volume 2 scrapbook.  I'm excited because I'm 4 double page layouts away from completing it!  Hopefully I can finish in the next 2 weeks.  Today I have two layouts to share.  First one is from a cute paper line I had found in Michael's.  I used pictures of her when she turned one.  The heart is my favorite cut from the doodlecharms cartridge.   Here is the layout...

This other layout is a scraplift of a layout I had saved in my layouts I love folder that I was able to recreate quickly when I found the same papers.  I wanted a picture of me and my sweet girl which I added today, take a look...

Thanks for stopping by!  I have more to share tomorrow, so be sure to stop by!

Cupcake Cutie

Since this week at Fantabulous Cricut we are having a "Sweet Shop" challenge, I wanted to share another "sweet" layout I created featuring some good enough to eat cupcakes and my cutie.  The page matches her outfit (this time, on purpose! LOL!), even part of the title (which I handwrote to match).  Now the cupcakes have a lot of detail and dimension (it's all about Scrap-Stickle-Pop!).  They are from Doodlecharms.  I cut off the candle and added my own cherry.  They are shadowed in red, the "wrappers" are crinkled like actual wrappers, the "frosting" is from velvet/flocked paper, which I also embossed with stars - some which I stickled, others which I blinged.  I really wanted to make the cherries pop, so I added red beads to them and created the stems with scraps.  The pictures speak for themselves, she is definitely a CUTIE!  So here is the layout...

I also wanted to let you know that another Fantabulous Cricut Crawl - this one will be "Share the LOVE" is coming soon!

Hope you all have a great week!  Come back soon to see more projects!

Easter Layout

This week is officially Back to School week and now, my life gets even MORE BUSY and hectic.
But I really want to try hard and keep up my blog...so bear with me!
As a matter of fact, I've been working on a bunch of summer/beach layouts and I can't wait to share, but maybe this weekend I can get those posted.

For now, wanted to do a quick post...

I made this for a class some months back, but now I finally got around to adding pictures.
This is one of my Easter Layouts - focusing on "The Hunt" which this year was at my house.
This is all using Doodlecharms (an oldie, but a goodie!)...
BTW, you can always click on the picture to enlarge it and see the details!

My favorite part, besides the scalloped heart (which is my absolute favorite cut on that cartridge!), is the embossed easter basket full of eggs, take a closer look...

Thanks for stopping by and feel free to leave a comment (and show me some love!)...
Have a great end of the week!
