Fun NEW Coloring Activity for Everyone!!

I love a good craft that I can do with the whole family, plus something that is not messy and looks great when it is finished!  Check it out below!

This post also contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.  Various companies provided me with some product to create this project.  The opinions I share are solely my own.

See how easy it is to create little fun art pieces with Color it Acrylic!

It all starts with the blank acrylic pieces that you color with any type of alcohol based marker (sharpie, Copic, etc).  I organized my markers on my desk (and then gave to my daughter to use on her craft table) in a little container from Deflecto.

I use this little container so do not have my markers rolling around on the desk, and I do not have to keep going back over and over to grab new markers from from wall unit organizer also using Deflecto X Cube storage.

It helps keep everything right in front of me so I can just have fun and color!  The Deflecto organizer hold 16 markers, so perfect for a little portable organizer!  These little acrylic pieces look so cool when they are colored in, just look at the butterfly!

It is so easy to make art, what will you make today!

DIY Party Treat Bags Made with Scrapbooking Supplies

My daughter had a birthday party and she wanted to decorate some treat bags to give to her friends at the party.  Here are just a few to give you an idea of what we made!

Here is a video to show how we made these fun bags!

We started by coloring in the papers from Adornit with various types of markers from Arteza.  Cut them out and use the Xyron Creative Station Lite with the permanent adhesive to stick the colored papers to the pink papers, and then did the same method to stick the matted paper to the brown gift bag.  Using the Xyron Creative Station Lite makes this whole process so easy and we had a blast making them!

The colors and themes are endless for how you can make these bags, just switch out the the Paintable sheets and cardstock colors to suit your needs!!  My daughter pick out her favorites which were pink, mermaids, cats, and flamingos!!

Card Ideas & Tips for Cardmaking While Traveling

I love to craft, and when I travel I really miss my time creating.  So why not take the crafting with you?  The main problem is supplies, you need something small and compact and supplies that serve a variety of different purposes.

Some simple supplies you can use are a small book for coloring such as the Adornit Art Play coloring books.  Here are the supplies you need.

Here is a video and tips on how to make these fun cads while traveling.

They are perfect to color and make into card with the Derwent colored pencils.

One of the best ways to make cards is to color a pre-printed picture and add a simple line of washi tape and stick the cad down with a Xyron adhesive such as the Xyron Mega Runner.

Using a page out of the Derwent sketch book and coloring the edges with the pencils give a quick and easy background paper so you do not have to bring extra papers with you!  That little extra pop of color really makes a difference and makes it fun!

Next time you go traveling don't forget you can take a few crafty things with you to help pass the time, feed the itch, or just to relieve the stress of travel!

Thanks so much for stopping on by!
