- Michele, one of my readers, asked how to do the photo overlay on the paper technique used on my funky love layout in the last post. So here are the quick directions. Hopefully you know the basics of Photoshop Elements, so hopefully this makes sense. If not, let me know and I'll try to explain better.
- Open your paper
- Open your photo
- Desaturate your photo so it is black and white (you can leave color or change to sepia also depending on what look you are trying to accomplish but I did B&W for this particular layout)
- Drag your photo on top of your paper
- Stretch your photo to fill the area you want to fill (resize)
- Make sure you have the photo layer selected in your layer palette and go up to the top of your layer palette and where it says "Normal" click on the drop down and choose "Overlay"
- That should do it!
