Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series - September 2019!

Good morning planner friends!
I'm here this morning to share with you my September monthly planner spread using Paper Sweeties planner stamps and some bits and pieces from my stash.
I started out by stamping in the things I knew I had planned already this month. I added a reminder for bill paying, design team projects due, our fun pizza night and a few other things. My planner stamps for Paper Sweeties make it really easy every month.

I know I have a few doctors appointments to add in there that weren't scheduled when I made this, but are in there now, hoping to add some more updated with my weekly spreads through out the month, if things calm down, lol. Life is crazy, but I love it all!

Once I had everything I already new I had planned, stamped out I moved on to jotting a few things in and on to making things pretty.

I just got some new orange and white stripped washi and wanted to use it so I grabbed that and some bits and pieces left from a Bella Blvd collection I had and added some pretties. I didn't go to crazy adding things, because I knew there were going to be things that I had to add through the month.  I was happy with my start for September and will add more as I go.
Make sure to head over to Paper Sweeties and check out the planner stamps and all the other pretty stamps that are in the shop!!
Make sure to pop over to the rest of the planner teams blogs and see what they are sharing in their planners this month too!

Paper Sweeties August 2019 New Release Rewind!

Good morning everyone!!
Today is the rewind and I wanted to share my week in my planner this month.
I always change up my planer, I use to have to have it where the entire month was the same collection all the way through, but I realized I wasn't happy with that. What if I was using a collection that wasn't good for some occasion that we were celebrating, so I decided to use whatever I want on the week I'm working on, so that I'm happy with it. And I did that this week.
I used bits and pieces from a few different collections and manufactures and I was really happy with the way this turned out.
This week was one of my daughters birthdays, I know I've said that a bunch, but its a big thing in our family lol. We had a blast, more importantly, she had a blast!
I started with washi where I wanted it. I liked the bright color and then some polkadots in there. Love me some polkadots!
I stamped a little here and there, cut out a bunch of cute cupcakes and them moved to adding color to those. I love that you can chose the color of frosting and the cupcake holder, it adds more to the spread over all.
I added a few photos, and started to add more around them and build from there.
I added some chipboard pieces, cute little words, I love that I can use my stash for this! The colors all worked great together and then I continued to build more on my spread, adding more washi, cupcakes and word stickers.
I finished my spread by adding a little envelope so that I could slide a card in with some little bits about the day, so that not only I would remember it but that she would have it to look at later in life. About the day she had with so much of her friends and family around.

Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I did today, make sure to check out the rest of the Paper Sweeties team and see what they did today as well!

Paper Sweeties Plan your LIfe series

Good morning everyone!!
I'm here this morning to share with you my monthly planner spread using great products from Paper Sweeties

I pulled out the Basket add on: Thinking of you stamp set and stamped a few flowers, I had found some of my gel pens and decided that I wanted to color my flowers in that way this month. Then I grabbed the sign from the same collection, stamped and die cut one of those out. I pulled out the Handmade for you stamp set and stamped Crafty goodness on the sign and added it in where I knew I would be having some fun craftyness in the month.
I added my flowers in here and there along with some washi from my stash to add a little more color. Decided I wasn't happy with just that, so I looked back in my die and stamps sets and remembered the banner from the  Truck add on: Life is an adventure set and the Sweet cuts: Life is an adventure set and cut me out quit a few banners and added those in as well.
That finished off my monthly spread. I will be adding more on my daily pages and share them along the way on instagram,
Make sure to go check what the rest of the design team has created and make sure to come back and see the new releases for this month, ganna tease, but oh man are they adorable!! You wont wanna miss it!!

March Memory planning/Pebbles guest designer

Good morning everyone, Sarah here this morning and so excited to be guest designing for Pebbles and working with there new collection Patio Party!! This collection is full of beautiful florals and other patterns, it gives you so many options of things to do!! Cards, layouts, planner spreads and memory planning is what I am sharing with you today!
I am sharing my memory planning for the month of March!

I started out my month by writing a list of things that I needed to get done and a few ideas of things that I wanted to do but weren't at the top of my list. Then I went for the fun stuff! I pulled out all the pretties that Pebbles sent me and started to play!
I went threw and grabbed some of my favorite papers, embellishments and started to add them in my planner . I used some wood grain washi from my stash and covered the separating lines in my planner to make them a color I wanted and to add just a little more to my weekly spreads.

This month my family has quite a few birthdays so I wanted to make sure they were all documented too! I added in some of the cut aparts with washi so that I had places to journal about things that went on whith the bday parties and what we were all doing. My mom was in Florida for her birthday, so I thought it would be a great time to add the cute flamingos in too!!

My last week of march was almost finished, when my youngest daughter, shes a year and a half old, decided to add her own touch in on my planner! I thought about covering everything up, but I decided that it was ok, I could leave it in there and make sure I journal about what my little goof did.  I kinda think its fun to know I can look back and see what she did later and the journaling to go along with it.
Well I very much appreciate being able to share my memory planning with you and I hope you enjoyed it as well!!

Setting up my Planner with June "Storytime" kit/The Fairytale Club

Good morning everyone!
I'm here this morning to share with you a spread in my memory planner. And man am I so excited to be using the June "Storytime" Kit! It is so beautiful! I have a things for purple and this kit has it!

I do memory planning, but just like a lot of other planner girls, I do a little bit of set up before the month starts. The spread I'm sharing with you today is the last few days of June and the Start of July.

I started out by choosing a paper from the kit. This was harder then I thought it was going to be. But I decided on the one with the pretty two toned hearts and cut it down to fit the right hand side of the page. I tend to cover this portion, because its already colored in my planner, so I cover it, I dont always do this, but most of the time. After I have that adhered down I choose a washi tape that I want to use, this kit has a lot of gold in it so I chose a gold washi tape. To be honest, I love to use the gold washi anyways, lol.

At this point I start to play a little with embellishments, inserts, tags and other things. I remembered seeing this "Hi" planner page and I thought that it would be a great way to bring in July! So I punched it so it would fit in my planner and then grabbed the beautiful chipboard alphas and wrote July in different colors. Then I went back and grabbed that cute little crown and added it to the top of the insert.

I did add a few pieces from the ephemera pack. A few of the pretty gold foiled hearts, wrote in things that I knew were happening on these days and added a few other bits here and there. But I did make sure to leave quite a bit open because I know I will add pictures and more journaling.

Junes "Storytime" kit is beautiful and if you haven't subscribed yet, make sure you go check it out, you wont want to miss out on this beautiful kit!!

May memory planning/Cocoa Daisy DT

Good morning everyone!! Sarah here today to share with you my 1st week in my May planner.
Usually I start my planner set up like most people do, I usually start the week before the new month, when I have what I'm working with early. Now, I had my stuff early this month, but only laid out my washi to start with and adding the pretty pattern papers to the right side of my planner. I cover that side most of the time because it doesn't always go with the months kit and I love to have the pretty patterns there!
I layered two washis this month, I had put down a black and whit stripped washi from my stash and then covered it with a darker green so that the stripes would show threw a bit after I had added the stripped paper to the right side. I cut that from one of my inserts that have the days of the week on it. I went in and added some of my little circle stickers to mark things that I knew had to be done and wanted to do. I did pull out my Simon stamps, that I soooo love!!, and stamped them on one of our nasty days. We lost internet that day to! It was horrible, lots of flooding around where we live.
I grabbed a DITL card from last months kit and put it in here to, it matched color wise, but I hadnt used it and got a kick out of the saying on it! I cut down one of the dashboards and put it threw my punch and popped it in my planner. I wanted the saying, I want to focus on a lot of positivity this month, its much needed! So I loved all the little saying in this months planner kit, it all went with just what I was needing in my life right now! On the back side of the dashboard I added some stamps from past months, my picture of our 1st snow cones of the year and that adorable little paper clip.
I added little bits of purple washi tape from my stash, I thought it went well with the colors in the kit. I added a picture of me and my hubby at a friends birthday party with a tab on it so I could add more underneath. I went threw and added more pictures from the week, things that had happened, even the picture that showed up on my phone when we lost internet.
I love having all the pretties to play with but there are weeks where I use more of them then on other spreads and I tell myself thats ok, some weeks may need more filler and then I have all the pretties to play with then. I also love that so many of items from the scrapbook kits and DITL kits can cross over to the planner kit and go together, it always adds more options to what you can do.
I hope you enjoyed this weeks spread in my memory planner and I hope that you will come back and see what else I make and make sure to go check out what all the other Daisies do too!! Make sure to check out the Cocoa Daisy challenge group  on Facebook too and play along with us there and you can always find more inspiration on my Instagram  and Cocoa Daisys Instagram page too!!

April planning week one / Cocoa Daisy

Good morning everyone! I'm here to share with you my 1st week spread in my April planner.

Like I've said before, I set my planner up like a lot of people do. I write in what I already know I have planned, add a little decorating and then wait for the day to day to come along and add things in.
I like to change things up when I'm playing in my planner.  I like to add sticky notes, and I always love the ones that come in the kit! And I like to add in some of the DITL cards! There are always ones that match from the DITL kit that seem to match.
This week my Wednesday was my busiest day, I had so much to go threw here at my house. I guess starting my spring cleaning, and man oh man was it needed!! I didn't quite make it through my whole list but I did manage to get through most of it in one day! Huge plus for me! I did get it all done this week though! But I also managed to go out and spend some time with the kiddos and have some fun!

This week I added in a DITL card as a flip up. I wanted it for the pop of color and for the functionality of it. I love to add pictures into my planner, I do a lot of small pictures that fit in to the day to day boxes, but I like to add in some larger ones here and there too. The pictures may not be anything major, just a smile caught, but I love that I can look back and see pictures and remember what was going on at that time.
I layered in some of that beautiful dotted washi and some of those pretty butterflies, I love all the pretties! Sometimes I have to really work on not using all of them on one spread! I have to remind myself that there are 3 more weeks in the month! lol
I hope you liked this little peek into my April planner so far, I will be sharing more and I hope you follow along to see!

March Memory planning / Week1 Cocoa Daisy

Good morning everyone! Its Fri-yay!! What are your plans this weekend?? Fun hopefully! I'm going to warn you, this is going to be a picture heavy post!
I finally got my 1st week in March done in my planner. It took a little longer than normal, this past weekend me and my husband went on a trip for our anniversary, and things went a little off.
But let me share my planner spread first, lol, before I get into the story!

I started my planner spread this week by adding that beautiful floral on the right hand page and doing some fussy cutting of some of the pages in the planner kit, so that I could play with them. I added my washi and started penciling in what I knew for sure was happening that week. The last few days in February were pretty uneventful, mostly trying to get everything done at the house and errands that needed to be done before we headed out. I did love that even though I didn't have a ton to wright about or pictures to post, the florals were beautiful to see! I love that I caught my daughter laughing so hard when she was being tickled, my hubby with our pup and oh man, when he was working one day he had a customer that worked on movies, so he got to take pictures with a Ghost buster pack!! He was so excited! How cool, right??
I added things in that happened through the week and printed out my pictures Monday and added them in. I thought I'd have more pictures from out trip, but not so much. lol. We got to the mountains late Friday evening and checked into our cabin and man was it beautiful!

We had a whole cabin! It was so beautiful! It had a whole kitchen, a private hot tub, its own living room and dinning room and a fire place! It was just amazing! Yeah I know I'm gushing! lol We were thrilled when we got there, but we crashed out around midnight after the long drive. When we work up the next morning, my poor husband was horribly sick, food poisoning. Boo! We had stopped on the way and grabbed some food from a gas station, yeah I know never a good idea! But we did, or he did, I grabbed a bag of chips lol. Well I think that may be the end of gas station food for him. He was sick the entire time and I felt so bad for him. But we got to be together and in a beautiful place and it will be a place we go back too!
Oh and we had the screened in deck, so we had a view of the woods and paths to the waterfalls. And my husband was so sweet and had gotten me a new wedding ring set for our anniversary! I love it!

We made it back home late Sunday. We were so happy to see all the kids and just hang out with them. My hubby recouped and is doing better, so major plus!

I'll have my 2nd week in march up here in the next couple of days, I hope you come back by to check it out! And I thought I would mention that we now have a Cocoa Daisy Planner Facebook page, if you'd like to join in and see what everyone its up to, we'd love to have you!! We have some challenges, chats and lots of good company!!
