Destination Travelers notebook spread | Bramble Fox CT

Hey everyone I hope your week is going good. It has been so hot here that it's been a little harder to go out and do thing, it's a bit hard to go hiking when it's 108 outside lol But I finally got to go do some more hiking and the view was beautiful and I wanted to document that in my travelers notebook. I used a beautiful collection by Heidi Swapp and the beautiful Destination perspextive from Bramble Fox.
I had chose my photo and knew I wanted to add a few layers behind it, so I pulled out my paper pad and picked a few papers and added some small layers, but thought it looked to plain still. I flipped back through my paper pad and found the patterned paper with the leaves on it and thought it would work nice, since i was in the woods with this picture. So I cut a 2.5 inch strip and added it across the top of my TN before I added my photo.
I made sure to leave a little space behind my photo to slide in a tag, a little more hidden journaling there. and then I started to go through the ephemera and stickers from the collection. When I found things I liked, I pulled them out and tucked them here and there to add pops of color and little scentaments about how I felt that day.
On the right page I wanted to make sure to add some journaling and unfortunately I decided to use my own handwriting, not a fan of it lol I was a bit sloppy, time to work on handwriting again lol. But I knew I wanted my title on this page as well and the Destination perspextive was perfect. So, I added my journaling about the day, along with some more stickers from the collection and then placed down my title and that finished off my spread.

Endless Summer | Bramble Fox CT

Good morning everyone!! How was your 4th of July weekend? We had a pretty good time with ours. Today I'm using the beautiful light teal Endless Summer perspextive along with my Happy Hearts Sampler kit from Clique kits to make a fun summer layout with 6 pictures on it! That's quite a few pictures for me on one layout, but after seeing this perspextive, I wanted to scrap some pictures from different parts of our summer and this worked great!
I started by printing out my pictures. I made them measure out to 3x4's so I could get at least 3 across the layout. I laid them out straight across at first, in two lines, but I didn't like the way it looked, so I played with them at an angle and I liked that a lot more. Plus I could add some patterned paper and leave some white space to add my journaling.
Now I knew where I wanted my pictures, I picked out a white paper with rainbow stripes on it to add some color to the layout, but not over power it. I have to admit I cut it wrong twice lol. I wanted the lines to go the same direction on top and bottom, so leave it to me to cut it the opposite way lol. But I fixed it and adhered my paper down. Then added my photos so I knew where I had space left for my journaling and embellishments.
I fussy cut some flowers out and pulled some other embellishments from my kit, then started to slide them under my pictures here and there, along with adding a few word stickers on top of my photos. I had printed out my journaling already and laid it out and decided I wanted my journaling to sit on top of some of my florals. I stuck those down and added my title, it went perfect with these photos and moved to adding my journaling down. I was really happy how this turned out, especially since I used so many photos and I hope you enjoyed it! Make sure to head over to the Bramble fox site and see what's in the new fox box and in the shop!

Love this life | Bramble Fox DT

Good morning everyone! I have all my Bramble Fox goodies and I have to say I loved this perspextive that says Love this life. It a mat black and I just love it! I had recently been outside with my littles playing with chalk, messy hair and all, lol. Snapped a few photos. Yes, I played with the chalk too, but then retired to the hammock to read and watch them. It's so awesome to watch their creativity and how they enjoy what they are doing. So of course I had to scrap it.
I pulled out the new Southern Charm collection by Kelly Bangs, it has such bright, beautiful colors, that I thought it would be perfect and I think I was right. There was a cut apart sheet with, to me looked like bandanas, in so many colors so I thought I would cut them down to be the same size of my photos and add them down the middle of my layout in a rainbow and add little things to go with each square.
I worked my way through the whole collection, picking out little pieces that went with all the squares and added them around them. Tucking pieces in here and there. I had decided on the placement of my photos, so I tucked a few things behind those as well and then added some splatters of black paint.
I finished off my layout by adding my title, the Love this life perspextive above my photos and gluing down my bit of journaling and called this layout done.

Adventures to the bookstore | Bramble Fox CT

Hello everyone!! I hope your having a great Monday! I wanted to share a new layout with you using the beautiful Adventures perspextive, from the June Fox box. I used it to start my title and finished it off with some of my sticker alphas. I automatically loved the color of this one and thought it would work great for a photo I had taken of my son, so I went to work on it.
I started by pulling out some papers from my stash, Heidi Swapp, Storyline. I decided to cut out a few circles from some of the papers and place them on the background, coming out from behind the photo of my son. Once I had cut those out I decided to add a little strip to the layout so that it would add a little more of the colors from the collection.
Once I had the circles and paper strip down I ruffed up the edges for a little dimension and added some dimensional foam to the back of my picture too. I pulled some of the stickers that went with this collection and grabbed some of the labels and added them to the bottom of the photo to fill some of the blank space and have a place to anchor my title.
I pulled some stamps out of my stash from Studio calico and added a few of those here and there and finished off my title. When I was looking at my layout, there was to much white space for me so I decided to ripe down one side of my layout and add some color with cardstock. I ripped a textured orange paper form my stash and punched the edge of a piece of black cardstock and finished it off with some darker teal cardstock and I called this layout done.

Live out Loud | Bramble Fox CT

Hello everyone! Hows did your week go? Well it was a stressful one for me, but it got better Thursday and I finally got some mojo to do some scrapping. I played with some of the new perspextives from the June Fox Box. I chose the beautiful Live out Loud perspextive. It went perfect with the Heidi Swapp, Sun Chaser collection.
I pulled the dark paper with hand script on it, and the white with black dots along with my white acrylic paint. I used my silicone brush and dry brushed some white behind where I was putting the white with black dot paper. Really didn't even let it dry lol. I am impatient. I adhered my white dotted paper down and pulled a few scrap strips I had on my desk, they look like rainbow colors and added them to the top and bottom of the dotted paper.
I pulled my perspextive out and set it where I wanted it and chose where I was going to put my photo. I had actually started with the photo and backed it with a few layers of patterned papers. Added some vellum and popped it up on some dimensional adhesive, then added another card behind it so that I could slide my tag in.
Once i knew where I wanted the picture and the title, I started to place everything else. I pulled a tag and put it partially behind my title, I left some of it hanging out so that I would have somewhere else to add embellishments. I added a few ephemera pieces to the top of the white dotted page and then to the bottom right side of it as well. I popped little pieces here and there, ruffed them up with my nails and then decided to finish it off with some white watered down splatters. I did my journaling off camera and slid my tag into place and called it good. I also have a process video up on youtube to go along with this layout. I havent done a video in years, so gettting back on track, fingers crossed! Hope you enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc1_TUM_Z90Uy97kvXIPJwA

SnapShot | BrambleFox DT

Hey everyone! How is your friday going? Anyone scrapping this weekend? Well I got to do a little scrapbooking this week and I chose a picture from my adventure climbing a mountain and I thought the Snapshot perspextive worked great for it.
I pulled out my Heidi Swapp Color fresh collection and pulled some papers that I liked, along with a bold black and white strip from my stash. I knew I wanted the black and white on the top so that there was quite a bit of contrast when I added in color form the other papers, so I started there. Once I had that portion down I started layering papers behind my photo.
I added a few layers, roughing up the edges to add some more texture and then popped it up on some dimensional foam. I was happy with it at this point and wanted to see what else I wanted to do with the layout. I had laid my title, the perspextive SnapShot, on my layout to decide where I wanted it and then added thing from there. I knew I wanted a little more color on the bottom, so I added a corner out of some of the same paper I had layered behind my photo.
I decided that I wanted to add a brighter pop of color to the layout too so I grabbed some of the electric yellow paper from the collection and added a tag made out of it, behind my photo and finally adhered it down along with the SnapShot perspextive. Now I wanted to add some more embellishments! So, I pulled out the ephemera from the collection and found that vellum circle and loved it so I added that, a few arrows and florals from the collection and then realized that the Triangles and Tabs from Bramble would work great too, So I added a few of the green x or crosses and then a great blue tab at the top. I pulled a few word stickers that went with my layout and used them and printer out my journaling and was done. I hope you enjoyed this layout!

Me Time | Bramble Fox CT

Hello everyone! I'm here today to share a new layout with you that I made using a few perspextives from the May Fox Box. I loved these as soon as I saw them! I had decided to join a online book club that I found, some of you may know it, its reading with heba on instagram and I took a little me time to read the book for that month and have a cup of coffee.
I started this layout with the perspextives I I had chose, along with the photo and then started to pull things from my stash. In this case I pulled the Maggie Holmes Round Trip collection out and my sizzix and started to cut out some butterflies. No idea what made me chose butterflies, but I did lol. I had pulled a few papers from the collection and cut those out but thought I wanted a little more, maybe some black added in. I went back to my stash and found some rice paper from A.B. Studio and cut a large butterfly out and a few little ones. Once I had those done, I started to play with there I was going to put them on the layout.
I found where I wanted all the butterflies and snapped a quick pic on my phone and then swiped them all off and grabbed story sky distressed oxide and some Dylusions black shimmer paint, added a little water to them both and added some splatters to my layout. While they were drying I added some tissue paper behind my photo and grabbed a few little tags from the paper collection and tucked them in to the side of my photo.
To finish my layout off I added some dimensional foam to the back of my photo and added it to my layout and then popped that adorable clock up to the top right. I found another tag and noted what this photo was about, added it below my title and I was done. I hope you liked this layout, I enjoyed making it and I hope you pop over to the shop and see all of the beautiful new items that are there!

No Regrets | Bramble Fox CT

Good morning everyone!! I am having fun playing with perspextives from the May Fox box. This time I chose to use the No Regrets perspextive. I had decided to climb a mountain a while back, glad I did it them, I got sick shortly after lol. I had been wanting to do this forever! But never managed to be able to. I am not going to lie, it was a little more than I bargained for lol. But I made it to the top and it was amazing! I will be doing it again! But for this layout I only used one of the photos I took while climbing, and actually this was at the very top. Spent a little time up there taking pictures and just taking it all in. I loved it! I thought that the no regrets went perfect with this!
I had grabbed the new Heidi Swapp collection Sun Chaser from my stash and pulled out a sheet that had these wonky circles all over it and decided to cut them out and ruff them up and place them on the white cardstock. This made the background busy enough that I really didn't need to add a ton more to it. So I moved on to my photo itself.
I added 2 different layers behind my photo. I knew that I wanted a area that I could place a tag to have my journaling about the experience. So in between the layers I made sure to tape off a section big enough for my tag to slid into.
At this point I wanted to add my title and that was this beautiful perspextive, No Regrets. I added it to the bottom of my photo, off to the right. But I knew I wanted a little more, but not to much, since the background was so busy. I pulled out the sticker sheet from the collection and found a few that I fet went well with this picture and added those, along with a few label stickers and then I grabbed a stamp and stamped a few things. At this point I thought it would be a good idea to add that cute little camera perspextive that said smile and place it all the way down at the bottom. That was it for this layout for me. I like the way it turned out and I feel like these went so well with the idea I had in mind! Make sure to check out the new items in the shop and check out the Fox box too!

Cherish the little things | Bramble Fox CT

Hello everyone!! This year I gave myself the freedom to try new things and I thought I would really give myself a go at pocket scrapbooking. I have done it before, but usually only for holidays. But I like the way it looks and it seems easy to get into, so I thought I would try.
I had done a layout in the past with leftovers from a kit I had from Clique kits and just realized I had actually called it the wrong name lol. These papers are from the Keepin it real kit and I had to use them again because I love purple and they go amazingly with May Foxbox pieces!
I have to be honest, I didn't quite know how I was going to set this up, I knew the pieces I wanted to use and the photos. So I started playing. I started on the right side with the 2 4x6 slips and made my title card. This may not be how others do it, but I am learning. I wanted to keep it light and airy, but realized when I had finished with my right side, that I had added quite a lit.lol. After layering the papers on my title card and adding the little bits and bobs, I added the beautiful Cherish the little things Perspextive and loved it. Then moved to my lower card.
I had two little instax photos of my girls playing on their beds and wanted to use those. They may not be the best but they show the goofy, sweet little girls I have. I continued with some of the same paper from the top card and a few little word stickers and the purple heart perspextives. At this point I had two other pictures I wanted to use so I moved over to the left side, on the new page.
I decided to add the two pictures and have a few filler cards. I didn't want a lot attached to this page so I added some patterned paper and then placed a grey frame down from Aprils foxbox, slid a floral ephemera in there and popped on that cute always perspextive and left it at that. I did pretty much the same thing to the one diagonal from it, but i turned the fame the opposite way and added the best perspextive.
I added my photos opposite of eachother and added a label sticker to one, with a little word sticker and added a word sticker to the top one too. A placed a few little enamel dots around and called it done. I am hoping to get better at this and I hope you come along for the ride. Make sure to head over to the shop and check out all the Amazing new items!

Crafting 365 | Bramble Fox CT

Hello everyone!! I hope your week is going good! Sarah here today to share a new layout with you using the Craft365 Perspextives and the Crafty Bits. I have to say I squealed a little when I got my box and saw these, I love them!
I grabbed one of my Clique kits and started playing. I had had quite a few pictures of some of the new crafty things I had got and thought this would be perfect for these Perspextives!
I really kept this layout simple. I wanted too with the fact that there were six photos and the background paper I used was so busy. I started with the background paper and then decided to cut a few strips of white cardstock and layer them on top of eachother, distressing the sides a bit. Once I did that and laid it down the center of the paper, I decided that I wanted to add the title/ Perspextive to the center of that and back it with a bit of paper behind the 365 and add some flower ephemera to the rest.
I played with where I wanted my photos, lining them up straight across the layout, clustering them here and there but in the end I decided to add three to the top right and thress to the bottom left and embellish from there. I stuck to of my photos in each set straight down to the layout and popped on up on dimensional foam to add some dimension and I thought I could tuck things under them here and there. But I actually ended up tucking some floral ephemera pieces from my kit under the pictures and adding my Perspextives on top lol. It just worked out that way.
I loved having the crafty bits to add to the layout too! They made perfect little pops to my layout! I hope you enjoyed this layout and I hope you head over to the shop and check everything out!! There are so many amazing things there waiting there for you to see!

Celebrate | Bramble Fox DT

Hi everyone!!! How's your monday going?? Well I am here today to share another layout with you using the Celebrate Perspextive, I also had some of the Hooray collection by Crate paper left over and thought they would be perfect paired together with this layout about my daughters birthday.
I went through the pieces I still had from Hooray and pulled everything I thought I might use, this way I knew what colors I was looking at. I wanted splatters or sprinkles as my daughter likes to call them, on her layout.
I stuck my pictures together with my tape runner, in a wonky photo strip. Then I started to tuck pieces of paper here and there, distressing the sides as I went.
I still had a few of the puffy stickers left and really they were too cute not to use so I popped the bear off to the left of the photos and the cute little cat over to the lower right. I slid a few tags in under the layers behind the photos so that my celebrate perspextive would have a good place to sit, nestled in next to the photos.
I knew that there was a little too much white space on the left side of the layout so I tucked bits and pieces over there too. Once I figured out where I wanted everything and before I stuck it all down, I grabbed a few of my distressed oxides and let my daughter help me make "sprinkles" as she calls them around the layout. Once those dired, I adhered everything down.
I love this Celebrate perspextive, for me, they work perfect as titles and then with the smaller bits they are perfect for embellishing pretty much anything! This one was another that as soon as I saw it, I knew exactly what picture it went with and that it would work perfectly! I added a few puffy stickers from the Hooray collection and a few enamel dots and that was it for this layout. I hope you enjoyed this layout and I hope you come back to see more of what I have fun making. Make sure to head over to the Bramble Fox site and check out all the new perspextives, stencils and dies. Everything is amazing! And check out the fox box too!
