Lisa is almost caught up with the State Template Series DIP conversions. Everytime she catches up, I post more! LOL
She has my permission to convert all my templates, not just the ones in the State Template Series. So if you see one you want, shoot her an email and see if she can convert it.

DIP State Template Freebies
Template Freebie: Idaho
Potatoes, Potatoes, Potatoes! That's the theme of today's Idaho template. This is #38 in the State Template Series.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel because I am actually designing #43 right now. I try to design several at a time so that if I have days where I don't have time to design something (like this past weekend because of all day trainings) I am not in a panic to have something to post.
Tomorow is actually the last requested template. There were 11 that no one ever asked for, or if you did I missed the request becaue some are on 4 Shared and some come weeks after the original post. I try to go back into each upload on 4 Shared and look at the comments because I realize that someone may have JUST discovered this series yesterday.
I take your comments seriously and I hope you realize if I don't answer every comment, that I am aware that you did write and if you want something I try to produce it.
Thanks to all of you who have not only come back day after day to get the templates, but also have spread the word around the web that these templates are out there.

I Found This Template
I found this template on Mamsens Scrap Blogg and I thought some of you might be able to use it with some of the State Template Series templates. It has a great "travel" theme.

It's the Nebraska Template Freebie Today
Along with the Nebraska template, I am including the recipe card for Indian corn stew in the zip. When trying to figure out what to put on the template, I came across a website that has all kinds of corn recipes. 
Since I had already used a corn motif on the Iowa template and since Nebraska is known as the cornhusker state I thought this would be a cute way to get the corn theme across.

Here is the Pennsylvania template for you today. Notice in my layout that I used more than 1 picture in the state outline. That way the template could be for more of Pennsylvania than just one city.

Our House Template DIP Freebie
Here is another template that Lisa converted to DIP. It is the Our House template.
Today's Freebie: Nevada Template
Once again this will be really quick since I have another all day Pilates training. Here is the Nevada template.
With this template I have included in the zip file the color version of the Las Vegas sign. You can either do what you want with the grayscale version on the template or you can simply replace that layer with the enclosed sign.
As I was testing the template, I noticed that the sign was hard to work with...not impossible, but just trying! So not wanting to put a color element on a B&W template, I figured I'd just stick it in the download. Use it if you want. If not, save it for something else down the road.
By the way, that is a desert bighorn sheep on the template. It is the state animal of Nevada.
Eventhough I knew that the NASCAR race today is in Vegas, I didn't realize that it was also going to be Nevada's template today! I didn't plan it that way...honest. LOL
Maybe that is a sign Junior will win!

Freebie for Thursday: Arizona Template
The Arizona template is today's digital scrapbook freebie. Once again I went to the state flag and got my inspiration.
But as you see in my layout, that doesn't mean you have to use the colors that are on the flag if they don't match your layout. Be creative.
Look for the detailing in the word Arizona so that you don't fill the entire thing in with one color (unless that is what you want to do.)

Freebie: Illinois Template
Hey there! Today I have the Illinois template for you. Once again this state was difficult to pin down for a template. Then I remembered Abe Lincoln and his log cabin.
Our trip to Illinois took us to Chicago. Although Abe doesn't really have anything to do with Chicago, I still tried to tie it in.
Keep in mind that most of these templates are for places all over the states they represent...not just one city. That's what they are really good for.
