Template Freebie: Glasgow

Back to the UK today for the Glasgow Template. Thanks to Megadoodle Inspired for the plaid layer in this template. It came from the Ephemeral Victorian-which is now gone. :(

Also check out my Countries of the World Template Series...Scotland template. (There are 2 links in that sentence!)

I hope you are enjoying designing layouts with these templates as much as I am enjoying making them. I have noticed they don't get as many downloads as the other templates in my other series have. I think this is due in part to the fact that I have narrowed the target market from countries or states of people to just cities! LOL

Scotland Template is Today's Freebie

I'm glad you guys are commenting so much on my Countries of the World Template Series. I love hearing your plans for each template. Someone is planning a trip and is thinking how they can use the templates or somene else has pictures from years ago they are going to scan and use in a layout. Then there's the person who has a friend that they know would love it if they made them something with the template.

Remember, you can always send someone a picture, OR you can do a layout with the picture, save it as a .jpeg and send it. Imagine the difference to someone who doesn't digi scrap. Plus, you get to journal on it.

A few years ago I made my dad a DVD of his old pictures with music to them. It was very nice. But then when my fiance' wanted me to make one for his granddaughter's pictures I thought of doing layouts instead of just adding pictures. WOW. What a difference! So that second DVD was so much more eye catching and entertaining than the first one. And here all that time I thought the first one was awesome! LOL

Anyway, today's freebie is the Scotland template. This is very near to my heart because I am of Scottish ancestry. My maiden name is Moss, which is part of Clan Maxwell. Many years ago my ex and I went to Grandfather Mountain in NC for the Highland Games. It is one of the largest gatherings of the clans in North America. We found my father's surname, our tartan and other really neat information about the history of the clan.

I want to note that the bagpiper bear was taken from Bears.Co.NZ and is not my own work. Once again I looked all over for copyright information and didn't see any. If anyone knows anything about it let me know and I will remove the bear. Unless I hear differently it will remain a part of my template with this credit to the original.

Also, the plaid overlay is courtesy of Meggadoodle and is offered on the Ephemeral Victorian website. You better grab it fast if you want it because the site is about to shut down.
