Hi peeps!
For the first time in a looong while, I've made a card "just for fun" for a special challenge :)
At Sugar Bowl Challenge Blog, Marlene has made a great Sketch for Challenge #50, and it was so fun to play with :) There's also a theme to the challenge - Embossing.
Actually, I made another card at first, but when the card was finished, I thought it was something wrong about the image I used...hmmm, it turned out, that the stamp I used, wasn't a Sugar Nellie stamp *LOL*
So I grabbed another "neglected" image, and started over again, and here's the final result :)
Size: 15 x 15 cm
Ink: Archival Ink - Coffee, DistressInk - PumiceStone & Victorian Velvet, Water Mark Ink Pad.
Stamps: Sugar Nellie - image, Lili of the Valley - text (not in store).
Colouring: Distress Ink - Refills (mainly Pumice Stone and a mix of Spun Sugar & Dusty Concord).
Papers: Memory Box - Gossamer Collection, Bazzill - white & pink cardstock, Canson - Montval aquarellpaper 200g.
Tools: Spellbinders - Nesting Label, Cuttlebug - Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, EK Success - Snowflake punch, StampinUp! - Word Window punch, Martha Stewart - Scandinavian Snowflake punch, Inkido - Frost Embossing Powder, Heat Gun.
Embellishments: Wild Orchid Crafts - Open Paper Roses 20 mm, 15 mm & 10 mm, Semi Open Roses 8 mm, Rosebuds 4 mm, Aster Daisies, Gypsophilas & Self Adhesive Pearls, Ranger - Stickles "Star Dust" (I luv this glitter glue), lace.
I've used Dry Embossing on the white panels, and Heat Embossing on the snowflakes.
I'm also entering these challenges with this card:
Thanks for peeking in - have a great weekend!
Hugs, Lena Katrine :)
