Life Is Good Layout

Hello friends! For today's post, I would like to share a layout created using 7 Dots Studio's pattern papers. To create the design, I've used Clear Scraps acrylic frame layout too. I've painted part of the swirls on this acrylic frame layout using acrylic paint to make it visible. For the acrylic squares on this frame, I've used pattern papers to decorate it.

The chipboard above is painted using distress paints and later, add some stickles on top of it.

For some soft elements, I've used some flowers to decorate this layout.

Hope you all like today's layout and see you all again soon! Stay safe!

Game On Layout

Hi everyone! It has been a very long while since my last post here. With all the ongoing change and chaotic situations due to the pandemic, things has been not been going on as planned. I have to make loads of changes to my daily life routine. Therefore, this has caused my blogging time to be put on hold.

After a rough few months, changes has finally turn to norm and I'm slowly trying to put my schedules back on track with some minor tweaking. I won't be posting as often as before but I will try my best to share my work as and when I can. I've missed posting here so much.

Ok, enough blabbering... Today, I would like to share a layout which I've created sometime ago with you all. I've used products by Clear Scraps and 7 Dots Studio to create this layout. Below are some close-ups details.

In this layout, I've mixed several acrylic elements with chipboard pieces. I used some alcohol ink, permanent markers and acrylic paints to give some colors to it.

Hope you all like today's layout and try these techniques on your next project. See you all again soon. Stay healthy!

Lille Acrylic Mini Album

Hello! It has been a while since I've shared a mini album project with you all. Therefore, I've decided to share this mixed media Lille acrylic mini album.

I've used Clear Scraps acrylic castle mini album with papers by 7 Dots Studio. This album consists of tons of mixed media techniques and I've added tons of different elements and textures to it. The sprays and flowers are by Petaloo.

I've used metal embellishment by Tim Holtz idea-ology and some chipboard pieces by Dusty Attic.

Below are some pages in this album.

I love how grungy these pattern papers are. It is perfect to create this historical caste effect album.

I've stamped and used some stencils or masks to create layers on each page. All the clocks are stamped on pattern papers and cut out to decorate each page.

I've also used some white texture paste to create more rough textures on this album. One tip to note is that, to keep the album less bulky, try using stamped images to decorate it instead of dimensional embellishments.

I really hope you all like today's project and see you all again soon! Oh! Before I forget, I would like to wish those celebrating, a wonderful and prosperous Chinese New Year!

Sleepy Layout

Hi everyone! Today, I would like to share a layout with you all. This layout is created using products by 7 Dots Studio and Clear Scraps.

Below are some details on it.

I've used some acrylic banner pieces to decorate this layout. Each piece has been embossed using different design embossing folder. This makes them looks more sophisticated and interesting.

Besides the acrylic pieces, I've also used some mascils by Clear Scraps to create the background. For some sparkle, I've used Stickles and some jewel flourishes.

Inspire Acrylic Mini Album

Hello friends! I apologize for missing a post last week. My schedule has been so chaotic that I could hardly keep track of things. Anyway, to make up for it, I would like to share this heavy mixed media acrylic mini album featuring Clear Scraps and Tim Holtz products.

Take a closer look on the cover of this album.

I've add colors and textures to the cover of this album using gesso, alcohol ink, micro beads and distress stickles. I created a dark and grungy look for this mini album using these products.

To add more elements to the cover, I've used tons of metal embellishments and twine.

And here are some the pages in this album.

Every page had been decorated using tons of distress inks. Loads of masking and stenciling to create layers and depth.

Hope that with today's post, you all are some way inspired to do something creative. Have a great day and see you all again soon! Cheers!

Sleepy Head Layout

Hi friends! Are you all up for a layout inspiration this week? For today's layout, I've used some products by 7 Dots Studio and Clear Scraps. This is a light mixed media layout. Below are ore details on this layout.

To add tons of different elements and textures, I've used some chipboard, lace and acrylic on this layout. To add some designs to the background, I used some mascils by Clear Scraps and some inks. I used some texture paste to add more rough texture to the chipboard flourishes and detail them with some pearls.

I use the same technique on the acrylic frame and decorate it with some jewels and pearls.

The flowers used on this layout is by Petaloo and to blend the color of the lace with the layout, I've added some white gesso and misted some paint onto it.

Thank you so much for dropping by and see you all again soon!

Passion

This is an old grungy layout featuring Art Anthology and 7 Dots Studio. I've also used some stamps by Vilda Stamps here.

I've done tons and tons of layers using paints and masks. There are very limited paper layering here.

I've used gesso and sorbet to add texture and dimension. Want to know how I did the film strip mark in the sorbet? I've first apply a moderate layer of sorbet on the paper using a palette knife and later used a film strip stamp by Vilda Stamps to stamp on it before it dries.

The chipboard used here are by Dusty Attic.

This camera stamp is one of my favorite by Vilda Stamps.

Heads Up!

Today I would like to share this layout which features 7 Dots Studio pattern papers with tons of mediums by Art Anthology.

On this layout, I've also used tons of crystal flourishes by ZVA Creative.

I used texture paste to create texture on all the chipboard pieces.

Recently, I've received a question from one of you at the comment section regarding "what brand of gesso did I use". I normally use folk art but recently, I've been using Art Anthology's gesso as well. Both are great!

Before I end this post, I would like to share another news on a little change in my resume. I am no longer designing for Art Anthology. It is bittersweet but I guess things needs a little change at times.
