Using Doiley on Layout

I'm sure I've shared some tips before on using paper doiley to mask, to create fan, borders and flowers liked the one in above picture. Don't you think that using paper doiley on layout can easily add a little feminine touch to it? I just love how it makes a layout looks so feminine with a little vintage touch to it. If you use colours of distress inks such as "antique linen", "tea dye" or "old paper", it will give a fantastic distressed vintage look to it.

Below are more ideas on how you could use paper doileys on your layouts or projects.

In the picture above, I've also use the fan folding technique to fold the paper doiley and ink it's edges with distress ink. I've add the doiley to an end of a ribbon strip with a button.

I've also used the left overs of the paper doiley, the "circle", and ink it's edges with distress ink and use it in the design of the layout.
