Male card

For whatever reason, it always seems to be quite hard to make male cards. Maybe because the scrapbooking world is such a female focused world and most lines have girly colours. However, some lines are perfect for male cards or lay-outs and it seems they are gearing more product towards that precise purpose. I'm always drawn to oblong shaped cards when I'm making a male card. This time I made a tri-fold one.

Here's the sketch:

And my card:

Supplies: cardstock - Bazzill Basics, PP - Prudence by Crate Paper. From own stash: ribbon - unknown, alphabet sticker - American Crafts, button - Basic Grey, circle cutter - Fiskars, star die - Sizzix.

To make the stars stand out from the background, I've put a white shadow star behind it. I also used dimensional adhesive to bring them forward even more.

Well, I hoped you like my cards. You can see more of my work on my blog The Blank Canvas. If you use any of my sketches, could you leave me a comment. I would love to see your creations too. I'll be back tomorrow with one last post.
