Halloween Tiddly Witch*

Good morning! I'm back at work in the office today. It was a rainy ride... I had to fight with myself this morning making myself go up and work out. But I did.. and I feel better for it!!  Now to push ahead with the day!! I hope you all have a wonderful day and rest of your week ahead!!

Oh... I think this whole thing with the going to the psychiatrist is just in my head. Can't stop thinking about everything. I think its getting a bit down. I need to stop!  Nothing to stress about.  Ughhhh!! I keep telling myself I will not get on the scale. So tonight when I get home and take a shower I will NOT get on the scale. It doesn't matter what it says... I'm going to have to repeat that all day LOL. I can do this! And I have got to stop comparing myself to others. How in the world do I do that! And why such the need to be one of the best, the one at the top? I hate that about myself. I can be a bit overboard on the competativeness sometimes. But then... that is not what I teach my kids. I teach them to be competative, but not overboard.  I guess we all have some issues, don't we? Bariatric Surgery is a great tool... and I have been able to come so far with it. But it seems like that addictive personality has latched on to the scales and maybe that need to not fail....  be able to lose as much as everyone else. Yep... I'm a bit crazy!! LOL  I already knew that though!

Here is a Halloween CAS Card from me:

For this creation I've used Alison The Witch from Tiddly Inks. I've colored her up with Copic Markers. No layering! I know.. shocking!! LOL  I added a border punch at the top, some ribbon and that raven charm. I stamped Happy Halloween and that is it! Really different for me to do a CAS! But for once I actually like this one!!I think she turned out okay.

Copic Markers Used:
  • Hat: E57, E47, E49; C5, C7, C9
  • Hair: B23, C5, C7, C9, 100

Puppy and Mouse Priceless Friendship*

Good morning! We have finally made it to Friday! Woot!! I will be on my way to work in a few minutes. Yesterday... I worked... and I worked some more. I did go up and walk, but then I worked some more LOL It felt so good to head home! Kevin rode to work with me yesterday morning too.. and it was so cool outside! We had to pull out the sweatshirts to ride! I had a bit of leftover chinese for dinner. The boys had eaten already without me! Kevin always sits with me though.. he is the best :)  Then I took a trip to Michael's. I'm trying to work out what to give everyone for Christmas. And it's always the same old thing... what do you get for people that can get whatever they want. So... I think I have decided on both my sister and my mother finally. I did some shopping at Michael's and some shopping at the Goodwill store. I think I've found a few items that I can repurpose and make them into some nice gifts. We will see! I will post them as I finish them :) Okay.. time to go :)  Have a great day everyone! And Happy Friday!!

Here is a friendship card for today:

Yep.. I tried another CAS! LOL  The image is Snoozing Puppy from Gerda Steiner Design. The adorable little pup and mouse were colored with Copic Markers. I used some brown and bronze spritz for the background. I added a lined stamp over the top of those... you can barely see it under the pup and mouse. I also added a couple of paw prints stamped. I carried that over to the inside and did some paws there as well. The two papers are from my scrap stash. I stamped the True Friends Are Priceless from Unity Stamps. And that is it. My CAS attempt once again.

Copic Markers Used:
  • Puppy Fur: W1, W3, W5, W7, W9
  • Puppy Nose: C3, C7, C9
  • Mouse Fur: E51, E55, E57, E59

Corn Sprite*

Good Morning everyone and a very happy Thursday! What is in store for your day? Me, I'll be working today. I was able to get the ATC finished yesterday, which I was hoping for. I love when things fall into place! Hopefully I will be able to get another card finished today or at least some coloring done.

Here is one from me today:

This image is from Aurora Wings and it is Corn Sprite. I colored this with my Prismacolor Pencils. I tried really hard to make a CAS card. And I REALLY stink at CAS. I try, but it just doesn't work well. I used a Spellbinders die to cut the green paper and a My Favorite things to cut the oval around the image. I added some twine and a button and printed the scripture on the front and the inside on vellum.

Fairies Fluttering at SLSLines Digital Stamps!!.

Good morning! It is Wednesday... we are halfway through the week!! Woohoo!! It has been a quiet week! No Lacrosse right now.. so I'm not playing taxi as much! It is really nice! Last Saturday Bailey participated in her first Lacrosse tournament. They lost all their games, but I think they did really well against established teams. They are a new team this year with a lot of them only playing one or two years. This was Bailey's first year. She made her very first goal during the tournament too! Boy do I wish I would have had my camera ready for the shot and her expression after she made the goal LOL!! Priceless! But! I was too busy watching and cheering.. Oh well!!

Today is a new challenge at SLSLines Digital Stamps ... Challenge #3 - Fairies! Hope you will join us!!

For this challenge I have used Garden Flower Fairy which you can find at the SLSLines Digital Stamp Shop! I decided to attempt a Clean and Simple card.. rare for me.. because I really stink at them LOL!! I colored her skin and hair with Copic markers. Everything else was colored with Prismacolor Pencils. I added the pink pearls and the sentiment.. and that is it!!  Wow!!  That is really tough for me LOL The shape was cut using a Spellbinders die.

Copic Markers:
  • Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, E13
  • Hair: Y21, Y23, YR21, Y38, E97, E99

SLS Lines New Release.

Good morning everyone and Happy Monday!! Yuck!! LOL  I can't believe it's Monday already!!!  I feel like all I've been doing is running around all weekend and now its just gone! So, Bailey and Michael went to Music Midtown this weekend. Kevin and I took them to my sisters on Friday morning. They spent the day with her and then that afternoon went to Music Midtown; I think it started at 4 pm. They got back to my sisters right around 11:15 pm and Bailey had to get up really early for her first Lacrosse game. Kevin and I headed out early Saturday morning and picked her up. Her first game was about 30 to 45 minutes away from sister and she is about 30 minutes from us. It was a good haul to her first game! They did a good job... they lost, but this was the first time they have played together and they did alright! After her game we had to get her back to my sisters. Music Midtown started at 12:30 pm. They were there until about 11:00 pm again. They seemed to enjoy it! I'm glad they had fun. They still had chores to do though, so Kevin and I headed out Sunday morning and brought them back home. I was definitely Mom Taxi this weekend!! And now.. the weekend is gone and its time to head back to work... *cry*!!

Alright... on to my post for today. Today we are showing you the new release for SLS Lines and it a Halloween Release!!  Be sure to check out the fabulous stamps that are available:

The image that I have used is Witches Brew which you can find at the SLS Lines Shop. I colored this with my Copic Markers. I decoupaged the pumpkins and from bottle. I created a little die cut poison bottle for the inside. I added the twine and charm... that charm is so old!! LOL Glad I had the opportunity to use it!!!  I used different gems as well and a stamp for Fright Night. I inked the edge of the die cut card. There are some great Halloween images. Guest Designer at Tuesday Throwdown.

Good morning!  This is my second post today and my second CAS card LOL! This one is a Christmas card!  This is for my Guest Designer spot at Tuesday Throwdown. They are using images from Robyn's Fetish today, so I pulled out my Prissy Poinsettia from Robyn's Fetish and here is what I did with it:

I colored the image with my Copic markers and edged around each petal with my asyouSpica Gold marker. I love that thing so much! I dry embossed the dots on the white, stamped Merry Christmas with my Paper Smooches and I decoupaged the poinsettia. Another Christmas card done! Woot!! :)  And thank you Tuesday Throwdown for having me join you this month!
