Kiss Me, I'm Irish

Good morning and welcome to another bi-weekly challenge for The Scrapbook Blessings Club. Our theme this week is Punches Galore so get these "unloved/ left aside since dies replaced them" punches out!!! Our sponsor for this week is Meljen's Designs

The image was colored with Prismacolored pencils and die cut with my spellbinders circle. Punches used are a Martha Stewart scallop punch, the corner one from Creative Memories (my fave!) and the square punch from Fiskars for the banner sentiment. The designer paper is from Recollections and the dark green cardstock was cuttlebugged with a Dots folder.

Here is a close up

Pull

Happy Sunday and boy am I happy it is Sunday! Why? Because the kids go to school tomorrow, yay! I should not be complaining but two weeks are way more than enough to handle my little ones. I'm pooped daily and on top of that, I have my DT assignments....Not easy at all!

Back to business here. Welcome to another challenge from The Scrapbook Blessings Club where the theme is Winter Wonderland and the technique is called Reflection Technique. We were inspired from Dawn O's video  for this technique.

Here is my CAS card:

Tip: Don't forget to color in your reflection image too!

The stamped image is from My Local King Stamps and I colored it with my prisma pencils. The cardstock was embossed with the dots embossing folder and the sentiment added is from my alphas letters from Michaels. These snowmen sure are having the time of their life in this tug of war. Who will win?

Hope you have enjoyed my card and should you need more inspiration, please visit The Scrapbook Blessings Club.

Until next time,

Good morning everybody! Christmas has come and gone so quickly, now the New Year is near in a couple of days! I feel like the days are going way more quickly than normal...

Here is what I have made, a wine bottle tag! I used Ladybug from Lacy Sunshine and colored with my prisma pencils. It was cut with the spellbinder floral die and matted with some red cardstock. The background was done using the letterpress technique and used the embossed side with memento plum ink. The tag was finished using some ribbon from my stash!

SBC - Challenge #7 - Letterpress

Happy Sunday everyone! How is it going so far? For my family, not so much since we all have been sick this past week...My kids first and now, my turn. I do hope that hubby does not get it.

The challenge for this week is Letterpress where you will use a Cuttlebug folder or any folder that will give some impression with some ink. I used a Paisley folder with some Memento ink and here is what I came up with. Our sponsor this week is A Day For Daisies where you will receive some moolah!!!

The letterpress technique is very easy where you can use the emboss or deboss side with your ink. I went with the emboss one. My image was colored with prismacolored pencils and then matted with black cardstock. The banner was fussy cut from a Unity stamp and the word L-O-V-E was added with a white gel pen. The card was finished with some flower punch and a white resin flower.

Here is a close up of my image.

We hope that you will come and play with us as you run the chance of winning over at A Day For Daisies. Please do visit my teamies and leave them some love here.

SBC Challenge #3 - Triple Time Stamp Technique

Hi friends!  Jennyfer here for ScrapBook Blessings Club to share with you the Triple Time Stamp Technique.

First, I have my tip of the day for you....Write down the measurements on the cardstock after you have cut down your pieces. First hand experience, I got mixed up in the measurements and had to re-measure again :-)

Onto today's project...

This is a card that I made for my mom. She loves blue and her birthday is coming up.

Here is what you need:

  • cardstock: blue and dark blue
  • adhesive
  • ink pad
  • paper cutter

Instructions:

  • First, cut your card stock base
  • Measure and cut all 3 layers as shown in Dawn's video tutorial. You will find it on the SBC's site.
  • Stamp your sentiment
  • Using your background stamp (in my case, I used the PTI stitching set), stamp all over the layers.
  • Adhere your layers (TIP - Make sure that you follow the designs of your stamping when you are gluing everything back together)

I hope your enjoyed today's project.

I have today's post over at ScrapBook Blessings Club where you can see what my teammates made for today's challenge.

And as always, comments are appreciated.

Thank you for stopping by and Have a blessed day!
