Emerald Garden Fairy

Good morning! Today I'd like to share with you a card that I created while following Suzanne Dean's tutorial. She is a fabulous artist and teacher. I was fortunate enough to have taken two of her classes last year and look forward to doing so again in the future. Here is where you can find her tutorial on coloring folds for this adorable image called "Silver Fairy" by Wee Stamps. I think she is the cutest little fairy and a must have for all you fairy lovers. When I took Suzannes class she had a list of Copic markers to bring along to work with and the green's used in coloring this stamp were on the list. Shhhh... don't tell Suzanne but I have never used them, I know sinful. Anyway when I came across her tutorial and gathered the markers she used I said to myself, no way these are just not my colors.

Anyway I tried them and yup they are now my new favs!
These are the Copics used YG97, YG95, YG93 AND YG91.
The designer paper I used are by Die Cuts with a View. Flowers by Wild Orchids and Recollections. The Adore ticket sentiment is by Tim Holtz. Pearl flourish is by Prima and I tucked a cute little pearl stick pin behind the hand dyed seam binding and topped it with a handmade fairy pebble.

Happy Fairy Day!!!

For my fellow Fairy lovers and anyone who just loves beauty. I'd like to share some eye candy Fairy images that I have been collecting.  I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I do.

I'll be back later. In the mean time I will be spending the early morning tending my flowers and hoping to get a glimpse of My garden Fairy. I'll be eating my breakfast outside while I enjoying the beauty of Mother Earth. Afterwards I'd like to take a short hike in our back woods and see if I can't find myself some toad stools. Mid-morning will be spent relaxing on my porch swing and practicing my meditation. Today is a day to really enjoy the simple things in life. Taking the time to smell those roses!

Photobucket

Good Morning my lovelies and Happy Hump Day! Today I want to share with you a card that I created with an adorable image by Mo Manning called Fairy Kiki. OK can you get any cuter than this? I colored her in with my Copics and gave her some Fairy dust and added Stickles. I embellished with flowers, pearls, crystals and an adorable baby shoe charm. I added Viva Pearl pen around her frame and tiny yellow buttons to the flowers. Designer paper by Crate Paper called Emma's Shoppe Collection.

Whimsical Fairy card and bracelet

Good Morning. Happy Hump day!
I've been a card to share and today's post is all about Fairies. After making my chipboard album with Fairies as the theme I've become addicted. Also below you will see a fairy charm bracelet that I created. I've just recently gotten back into making jewelry. We had a stick pins swap with my fabulous Midnight Madness sisters and it was so much fun but it triggered the creative juices flowing for jewelry making.
Thank you all for stopping by today and I look forward to hearing from you.
Have a Sparkling Day
Hugs Bonnie
