Life is a Journey-Enjoy the Ride...layout by Lynne

Hello there dear crafty friends! It's Lynne here today with my last DT post for Scrap & Craft; it has been such a pleasure working with this lovely and talented group of ladies, and I wish Aneta and the Scrap & Craft store all the best.

I've loved the opportunity to become familiar with the wonderful paper collections stocked by Scrap & Craft; this page was created using Studio75's charming Violet Love 12 x 12 paper pack. There were lots of pretty elements to fussy cut, and I added some punchwork, stencilling, liquid pearl dots, and a few sprays of pink mist to finish the page, which features a selfie of my daughter and I taken quite a few years ago. Thank you so much for stopping by, and I wish each and every one of you a lifetime of creative bliss! xoxo

Just be YOURSELF!

Hello everyone! Simona's here with my last Inspirational post for SCRAP & CRAFT DT...like all the good things, even this has come to an end, and I can't thank Aneta enough for this opportunity, and  for having had the chance to work alongside amazing talented Team-mates!
And now... without further ado...let's talk about this layout:

I wanted to use my favourite paper collection, that is 'DAYDREAM' by Lemoncraft, and sort of  recall  the very first project I have created for the DT..so there are fuchsia and pink tones, and the same Paper Doll I have used back then. I have used two sheets from the set: one is cut in half as I wanted the Dreamcatcher to be a focal point, then from the back of the same sheet I fussy cut all the feathers and used them as decorations. The other sheet is actually the back of the cover sheet from the set...covered with a wash of white gesso, then added interest with stencils and sprayed with pink, fuchsia and turquoise sprays, to match the colours of the paper. Glue them together and then attached them to a heavy white cardstock for extra sturdiness.

Then added this beautiful and meaningful chipboard inscription, sprayed with matching colours, few paper flowers, cheesecloth, thread, ribbon, stamped feathers, a sticker and the paper doll.

Here's the list of supplies used, from SCRAP & CRAFT Store:

'DAYDREAM' 12x12 paper set by Lemoncraft.pl
White cardstock 30x30 cm
Studio75 'MAROCCO CLOVER'
Mulberry paper flowers
Pink cherry blossoms paper flowers
'JUST BE YOURSELF' inscription by Artistiko
Bambino glue 45 gr tube

I hope you liked this project and got inspired...please take note that, even if the DT has come to an end, you can still shop at SCRAP & CRAFT Store, as usual...my Teamies will be posting their farewell projects too, so stay tuned for more inspiration to come!
As for me...thanks so much for stopping by...see you around!

Kisses&Hugs!

Yesterday Memories... Mixed Media LO by Simona

Hello everyone and happy Sunday! Simona's here with some new inspiration with this Mixed Media Layout...
I love everything Vintage, so I thought that Sheet n.03 from the Studio75 Cherry Blossom 12x12 paper set would have been the perfect base for my project...I decided not to use too many colours in order to keep it simple and give the right importance to the cluster.

I applied Clear gesso on the paper, then started to stamp on the edges and add modeling paste for more texture and interest...as already said, kept my palette pretty simple, using only 2 colours: a vintage brown and a black, then splattering with white and black inks.

For my focal point I have ripped few strips  from the Cherry Blossom 6x6 paper pad, distressing the edges, then stamped few clocks images, fussy cut them, distressed and added to the cluster.
I have also used a beautiful Clock chipboard by The Mini Art, embossed it, cut it in 2 and glued it to the paper.
Then some thread, stickers and paper dolls to finish it off.
For a more vintage look I have added also some lace and this lovely organza rose trim.

These are the supplies from SCRAP & CRAFT Store:

- Studio75 Cherry Blossom 12x12 paper set
- Studio75 Cherry Blossom 6x6 paper set
- Studio75 Designer stencil - Marocco Clover
- The Mini Art Clock with cogs chipboard
- Agateria Grille n.3 stamp
- Organza rose trim - ecru
- Bambino Glue gr.45 tube

Thank you for stopping by, hope you liked today's project! See you next time...

Kisses&Hugs!
Simo.

Pure Elegance-layout with Studio75 "The Berry Copse"

Hello there, dear crafty friends! It's Lynne here with a layout I created using the lovely "The Berry Copse" papers and a photo of  one of the beautiful statues my son has visited during his past few years living and going to school in China. I thought the colours set the photo off so well, and I added some paper flowers from the Scrap & Craft store and cut up one of the metal flowers to create leaves.

I flattened the flowers a bit and inked them with moss green ink to coordinate with the papers and the fussy-cut greenery. There were so many lovely floral bits to cut out and they added just enough extra dimension to my page. I used Martha Stewart border punches for my edges. I hope you like my page and I wish you a wonderful week!

SUMMER DREAM layout with Simona

Hello everyone! I'm Simona  and today I want to show you my brand new project for Scrap&Craft...a breezy, summery LayOut...
I am very fond of this picture, taken last year on the beautiful and 'wild' Ag. Theologos beach in Kos...the mesmerizing sound of the waves and the amazing shades of the sea are still so vivid in my memories...
I have used a sheet of 12x12 paper from the 'Daydream' collection by Lemoncraft...these papers are absolutely gorgeous! The designs are so beautiful and perfect for my Summer mood!

Let's start...

I have covered the paper with Clear Gesso, then with a wash of white gesso added with a brayer.
Tried to add a composition of my elements, and when I have found the perfect placement I added colour using Inks, stamped here and there for more interest and then added modeling paste through a stencil...while it was still wet I sprinkled with embossing powder and heat set.
More stenciling with a white acrylic paint and dried it well.

Glued all the layers under the photo..I have used a lot of scrap papers, cardboard and pieces of vellum, when everything was in its place I added more colour with ink and a brush, dried and glued the 3d elements...Added also pieces of chipboard previously coated with white gesso.

Here's more details...

Beautiful Marilyn- Craft o'clock "Celebrate Today" layout by Lynne

Hello there! I love the soft greens and greys in this lovely paper line and I knew it would look perfect with this photo of Marilyn Monroe that I've been wanting to use on a page for a while.  I love vintage movies and stars, and every so often I create a layout featuring one.

I stenciled with texture paste and misted here and there, and I couldn't resist making a few more foamiran flowers for added texture.

The leaf sprays were diecut then rubbed onto a green inkpad. The beautiful flowers in the paper pack are perfect for fussy cutting and layering. I randomly punched along the edge with a notebook punch for a little added interest, and added the looped pearl string, which I got at the dollar store.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my page; if you've ever done a celebrity layout, I'd love to see it on our Scrap & Craft Inspiration page!  Wishing you a wonderful and creative week!

Lavender Morning fairy layout by Lynne

Hello dear crafty friends! I just received a box of wonderful new papers and other goodies from Scrap & Craft this week and I'm thrilled to have these beautiful papers to create with! The photo is of one of the wire fairies sculpted by Fantasywire, and you can find out more about them HERE. I love the images and have used several on layouts.

I used a couple border punches randomly around the edges and tore the areas in between. Stenciling was done with homemade texture paste, and the circles were diecut. The fussy cut flowers are from the paper pack and were popped up with foam adhesive, and the Lemoncraft butterflies were a gift from a friend. That fabulous piece of lace is from my stash, and I believe it came from another friend who passed some craft supplies along to me when she moved overseas. the chipboard title is from Gypsy Soul Lasercuts.

I just love the vibrant, feminine colours of these gorgeous papers! Thanks so much for stopping by , and I wish you a vibrant and colourful week! xx

"Together" 12x12 layout

Hello dear crafty friends! Lynne here with a layout using some of Studio 75's beautiful "The Peony Avenue" papers. I wanted a monochromatic look and loved the different grey patterns in this paper line. The brick pattern was perfect to cut around and make a shaped photo mat, and I made my own flowers with some of the paper as well.

The title piece looks gold in the photo, but was heat-embossed in Antique Silver to coordinate with the silver texture paste and metal quote strip in the lower right corner. I also added hand-stitching with embroidery floss.

Enjoy LIFE Layout by Simo

Hello everyone! Simona's here with another tutorial...today I want to show you a Layout I have made using the beautiful CHERRY BLOSSOM 12x12 paper set by Studio75, for a cherished picture of me and my little Sister...well not that little anymore, but she will always be the little baby Sis to me...This pic was taken during a stroll in the park on a lovely, sunny Easter day, with blossoming trees all around...

I used the 'Cherry Blossom 02' sheet as a base, covered with Clear Gesso, then applied some modeling paste through a stencil....

spattered with inks and set aside.
Took a piece from 'Cherry Blossom 01' with a contrasting pattern, added Clear Gesso then started to add a 'handwritten stamp' here and there, to enhance a bit more the writings that were already on the paper. Added some subtle shadow using Studio75 Stencil 'MAROCCO CLOVER', then some modeling paste through a script stencil. When dry added splash and drops of various inks in pink/fuchsia shades, then spattered with black ink and attached this strip to the main base using a stapler. Added some white thread where the modeling paste is...

Time to build the focal point and add the embellishments: Coloured a piece of cardstock using various green inks and sprays, then stamped with the 'BRANCH' Unmounted Clear Stamp using black ink and fussy cut the leaves. From two strips that come in the paper set I fussy cut some flowers and leaves too, then glued them using BAMBINO GLUE .
Under the photo I added black thread, a die cut branch from black cardstock, the stamped leaves, some PAPER FLOWERS and a piece of black cardstock. Then added a CHERRY BLOSSOM BUTTON, a cut out from the Add-on strip that comes in the paper set, a die cut word painted with pink inks and a word stamped with a Dymo. To finish it off I glued few rhinestones here and there...and here it is...my ENJOY LIFE Layout.

These are the supplies used that you will find in the SCRAP & CRAFT Shop:

Thank you so much for stopping by, have a great Sunday and remember to enjoy every moment!

Family-a heritage layout

Hello dear crafters! I'm excited to be posting here for the first time and sorry to be late, but my box of wonderful goodies had to come all the way to Canada!! I decided to create a layout with the beautiful Craft Clock papers, "Always Together" using a heritage photo from about 1915.

The flowers on the papers just begged to be fussy-cut, and I layered them with foam tape.

I added loops and spirals made out of the paper as well for extra texture and interest.

Some stencilling with texture paste and a little spray of mist finished things off.

Thank you so much for looking! With lovely papers like these, even a fairly simple layout is such a pleasure to create. Have a wonderful day!

Violet Silence layout by Ola

Hello dears!
Today I want to inspire you with mixed media layout.
Violet and Purple are my favorite colors. So when I saw this new line by Lemon Craft, I immediately decided to order it :)
To create this layout I used 2 papers from this line and fussy cut elements - flowers and butterflies. And of course a lot of paints (watercolors). The embellishments are pretty simple: silk trims, silk flowers, paper flower and chipboard frame by Scrapiniec. The layout tittle I cut from the main page of 12x12 paper pad :)
