2 Sketches 4 You: Laura's Sketch #63
Happy Monday!
Time for a new sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You! You'll love this one from Laura, it's super fun!
Our sponsor this week is Starving Artistamps and I used the Backlit Blooms set. A few weeks ago I used one of the images for this Christmas card, but I thought it would be fun to try to use this flower for a Halloween card.
I stamped in Versamark on an old book page (Thanks, Valerie!) and then heat embossed with black embossing powder. Easy peasy! The letters and polka dot border are from The Girls' Paperie and the button is Jenni Bowlin.
Be sure and check out the rest of the samples from the design team and upload your sample at 2S4Y for a chance to win the fabby prize! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Have a Wicked Halloween!
Happy Sunday! Hope you're having a great weekend! I don't know how they go so fast, waaaah!
This is a super quick and simple card...the first one I made when I got to the retreat a few weeks ago. I still have so much fun Halloween stuff I've barely used or not used at all, it's killing me! lol!
Off to finish getting ready for school tomorrow. My Smart Board light bulb went out first thing last Monday morning and I haven't been able to use my Smart Board for a week! Torture!! I'm using those 3-M post-it chart papers for something to write on, CRAZY! The tech guy was in the copy room Friday at lunch fixing the printer and I cornered him, but the bulb still wasn't here. I told him I couldn't work in these conditions, but he seemed unmoved. I just googled thinking maybe I'll find one locally and buy it myself. Ummm, no. They cost $400. However, while googling that, I found this hilarious photo of a teacher who has also experienced the anguish of a non-functioning Smart Board, check it out here!
Be sure and come back tomorrow for my 2S4Y card! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Hello
Happy Saturday! Goodness, I slept very late this morning! Am I the only one who has MANY things to do and doesn't want to do any of them?! Ugh! It's hard being a grown-up! lol!
I rooted around in my photos and found this card I made this past summer and thought I would share. I just altered the greeting a couple of weeks ago and sent it to my mom for her birthday. I thought the little birds looked like momma bird and baby bird. I got the darling template from Paper Popsicles last year, but I can't get their website to come up right now.
I *guess* I better start trying to move, ha! Hope you have a great weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!

Paisley Prints: celebrate
Happy Saturday! I'm off to a 14 hour crop, yippee! I'm running a little late, so I guess it'll be more like a 12 or 13 hour crop for me! I hope to work on some 3-D items today, maybe even some soldering! I stayed up late last night to finish grading, sweet relief!
I found another SU Convention display sample I hadn't shared...this one uses Paisley Prints, super simple! Looks like this one could have used some texture on the Blushing Bride part, but I'll blame it on the circumstances...made this one at a hotel when our air-conditioning had gone out! I think Savitri asked me how many we had to make, it was 24...5 cards, 1 scrapbook page, and 2 three-D items. I still have more I haven't shared, can you believe it?!

Gratitude...
Happy Thursday!
Here's a quick post of a card I made last weekend during the retreat. Valerie gave me some book pages to use, love that stuff! I think I used a color challenge from somewhere for this, but I sure can't find it right now...
Gotta dash...I turned the alarm off and I still need to do my walking, yikes! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs and happy stamping!
