TSQ DT Friday :o)

It's that time again for me...my DT post for the one and only...

Here is my project for this fine Friday post. It is a wall hanging! One of my friends is having a baby and the nursery is done in bumble bees so, I wanted to give her something that would be useful. A bedtime prayer! The old fashioned one creeps me out so I taught my boys a different one that I got out of a prayer and grace book. It goes like this...

Dear Lord I pray
As day is done,
Look down upon
Your little one.
Please stay with me
Throughout the night,
And keep me safe
Till morning's light.
Amen

And YES... the bee is on a wobble :o)

Disney Week Project #6

Welcome to project #6

I wanted to make something with this big Hello Kitty I had cut out from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge a while back. It's too big to fit on a standard card so I thought another wall hanging would be perfect! I left the bottom blank so I can personalize it with a name, which I will cut from the Hello Kitty Font cartridge. I have not fully decided who I am giving this to yet so when I do personalize it, I will update the photo so you can see :o) This is the same size as my Tinkerbell one, 8x8. The polka dot background paper came from a pack of Valentine papers I got at Target in the dollar spot. The lace is the same I used on the Tinkerbell. I punched the flowers and sewed buttons on with some thick embroidery thread. The button on Kitty's bow is from my jar and I tied red embroidery floss through it to make a bow.

Hugs!

Disney Week Project #4

 Welcome to project #4

This project is for my room :o) Well...my door anyway. I have planned on making some cuts from the Tinkerbell and Friends cartridge to hang around my room. When I got the idea to make her sitting on a mushroom it turned into a door hanging instead :o) The background paper is from a DCWV 8x8 stack Doodlin' Around. I punched the flowers and added bling in the centers. I put mini pom poms on her slippers and added some crystal stickles to them and her wings. The swirl bling is Recollections and I just cut it apart to fit what I wanted. My name I cut out using the Tear Drop Font cartridge. The lace I got from my mom :o)
