A while ago, Jessi told me about a scrapbook page she had that had a good definition of a boy. This definition may not be appropriate for all boys, but it sure is perfect for mine.
i think i have a pic of aaron looking exactly like that - do you remember that day at the park at ut housing when our boys found the mud? i think it was just aaron jordan and kyle that got in it... i think you are a great mom for letting your boys get all muddy. sometimes we all need to just let them make those messes! (i just seem to have a hard time allowing it!)
As the only apparent male blog reader, I must strenuously object to this definition. "A noise with dirt" might represent a part of a boy but surely it is only a microcosm of the definition. This is true even with your boys Audra. Surely that can't be the definition or why in the world would you ever end up marrying us? I am most certain that Kyle/Jordan had a very important reason to become covered in mud that time (or all of the times ;)). If necessary, I can provide you with a list of reasons why boys that age understand that getting dirty is vital to survival of the species. :)

How true! Porter still talks about how much fun he had with his mud brothers... how we miss you guys!
We'll see if another noise with dirt on it is on its way! Only a week and a half away! :)
Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails. Too true.
That picture is worth 100,000 words! One young man having a ball in the mud!

John, I would like that list please! Because it makes no sense to me why they must be dirty all the time!
